Rain drops lashed against the windows in the detached house in a small, quite street called 'Latchford Lane.' Light was filtering out into the street from the tiled windows; no movement to be seen. The sky seemed to not stop falling down onto the street. This was the most rain the street had seen for a while. It was normally a overcast or warm part of England; it was annoying, because no one could venture out. Looking at the house, there was only a single light on.
Inside the lit room, was a young man of 18 years of age. He was dressed in navy, Tommy Hilfiger jeans and a Tommy Hilfiger blue and white shirt; he had not long finish work. He did enjoy working in Tommy Hilfiger, mainly because it was always dead on a rainy day. No one wanted to go out and shop when the weather is depressing. He normally just stood and spoke to the his friend who worked there too. They currently didn't have a manager, she quit and moved to the other store in the city as they needed the staff. It worked out well as he and his other work mates knew the shop inside out and all of the procedures involving replenishing the stock and so on.
Alinthea was 18 years old and attending high school, as well as having a part time job. He had been in his job since he started high school. Alinthea liked to look after his appearance, playing with his hair and making sure it was too his liking ever now and then. His hair was light blond and long, falling over his left eye in a 'emo' styled fashion. He wasn't the strongest guy around, but he had broad shoulders and could hold his own if needs be. He had a very good fashion sense and knew what was nice and what wasn't; his friends always thought there was a possibility of him being gay. He always laughed and joked about it, but he knew in himself that he wasn't.
Ruffling his hair, he sighed as he was sat in front of his computer, typing away as he waited for his father to return and his soon to be wife and worse of all, his new Step-Sister. Alinthea was an only child and liked it that way, though he did sometimes wish he did have a sibling, as it did get lonely when his friends were away or couldn't make it. He didn't know what to think of her moving in, but he was going to try his best to make her as welcome as possible.
Looking at his 'Diesel' watch, that his dad got for him on his 18th, he lifted his eye brow and sighed.
"They should have been here by now..."
