*blushing slightly* well, thank you Miss Oreo. I do love My long hair. It does go all the way down My back, just past My hips since it was recently trimmed
 
Is jealous. Mine only goes past my waist. I had to hack 10" of it off a little over a year ago. I got bartop finish in it. I cried but there was no getting the stuff out.
 
awe that sucks. Yes, for now I am blessed to still have My hair. I was scared a couple weeks back though when My grandmother went into surgery. If the worse had happened, I would have been cutting it. But, it all went well so My hair stays

Currently growing my hair out, I wish mine was long already >< I'm at that stage where it's hard to do anything with it haha

I rock the buzz cut for entirely pragmatic reasons; zero maintenance, excellent heat dissipation (I have tremendously thick hair growth, though the individual hairs tend to be fine, so longer hair makes me feel like I'm wearing a wool stocking cap), no wasted time being concerned about styling, good resource management, fast-drying... all sorts of good things. Also, I can cut it myself with clippers and a spacer; 20 dollar investment, gives me haircuts for going on 5 years now. Because when I was in college, every time I tried to grow the long hair, it would get medium length and drive me insane so I'd clip it the hell off. If I let it grow out while I was in a coma, that would be probably the best way to get it long... but the side effects are a bit much just for some long hair.

Also, I love how Nymph's seem to just fucking defy gravity in the one.

And MM: I had the same problem when I grew mine long, incorrigibly thick hair. The end product can look good, but as you mentioned there's a halfway phase where it's just a shaggy mess. You either have to deal with it or invest in a hat. And after that, once it's long, the upkeep for thick hair is a pain. It was fun, though I don't know if entirely worth it.
