A few men stopped and said something to the auctioneer and both laughed, walking away with giant grins on their faces. Echo knew what they were saying; some stupid remark about her body and whatever they thought was "wrong" with her. Well, to hell with them. They weren't her owners and she didn't need to respect them. Echo's glare was focused straight into the back of their heads as they walked away. She said nothing, just stared quietly.
She wore an almost-sheer white slip and a chain around her ankle to keep her from escaping. Not that she would, of course. She quite liked being a slave. She was taken care of and sometimes fucked well enough to keep her satisfied and it was enough to keep her happy. Echo only hoped that her new master would be able to take care of her the way her previous owner did.
Raf's leg couldn't stop bouncing where it sat crossed over the other as he waited for his 'master' to return from his stupid freaking market. He was feeling bitter, and why shouldn't he? Forced to drive the petulant little pharaoh around, forced to wait around for him, forced to do everything the stupid little brat wanted. He was more than a bit irritated. Particularly because he'd been sitting in the damn carriage for hours. "Oh fuck this!" he finally snapped, grabbing his wallet and kicking open the door to the carriage. He slammed it shut and locked it ...because he knew by now what would happen to him if he didn't at least TRY to safeguard DEN'S stuff.
Then he shuffled off, the collar Den had snapped around his neck and which symbolized that he was owned...that he was a damn slave, was standing proudly out on display. Raf knew the curse, knew it wouldn't go away until Den considered his debt repaid. So, maybe helping the little shit buy a few more slaves would get the pharaoh to loosen the noose a bit. Besides, while Raf was unable to take his time having fun with Den that didn't mean he couldn't have fun with someone else right?
He smiled to himself at the idea and then his eyes widened as he spotted a beautiful woman up for sale at one of the auction marks. He looked down at the price for her...and grinned. It wouldn't even put a minor dent in Den's finances to purchase her. And since Raf's money was Den's money...well...he had more than enough to buy her and have a little fun. He waltzed up to the auctioneer, making sure his large golden collar was on display. "I'd like to purchase her on behalf of my master. I'm sure he has more than enough to compensate you." he said, flashing a grin as well as an ancient egyptian gold coin...worth half of her price alone, and Raf had about a hundred of the things in his jacket pocket.
Echo looked at the man and raised an eyebrow. It wasn't uncommon for an owner to send a servant to collect a slave on their behalf, but the bravado this young man had was unusual. Most slaves just dropped the money in front of the slave-auctioneer and let the auctioneer sort it out.
The auctioneer seemed amused by this and accepted, unlocking the padlock on her leg and leading her over to Raf. "Have fun with her. No need to break her in. She'll do whatever you ask." He said.
Echo sighed and bowed her head, waiting for the young man who just bought her to put a collar on.
