Elaya whooped and called out a tribal cry of delight as her lover won, and was just turning to collect on her bet when her ears began to twitch.
She was just about to say something when Laria called out the warning and saved Gerry's life.
She was about to transform when flames engulfed the attackers and Sera was suddenly before her. Elaya's eyes widened, and she launched herself forward taking the Phoenix in her arms, kissing her neck. "Thank you." She had no words for what she felt so just held the Phoenix for a long while, then pulled back to look at the redhead, the wolf's eyes shining and so deeply touched and moved she could not bear to speak.
Drea checked everyone and snarled. "No one hurt. Thank you Laria. Let's move everybody. That wasn't the last."
She grumbled as she lowered into a ground mist, then began to spread until she was invisible to the naked eye, even Elaya and the angel and demon's. She would find and either destroy or mask all such alarms and magics from now on.
Gerry moved Laria and bowed. "Thank you."
Elaya was still gazing into Sera' eyes, trying to find a way to tell her how grateful she was but more importantly how much Sera's ferocity and protection touched her heart and soul.
