Episode I: A Ravenous Star

It is the dawn of a bright era for the New Republic. A generation ago, Luke and Anakin Skywalker defeated Emperor Palpatine on board the second Death Star over the Forest Moon of Endor. Since then, the Rebel Alliance has liberated vast swatches of the galaxy from the Empire and formally established a New Republic. With the support of the New Jedi Order established by Luke Skywalker, the fledgling Republic has faced down countless threats and emerged victorious again and again.

In order to further strengthen the Republic in economic, political, and military arenas, the newly elected queen of Zeltros, Mialle Avern'veren, called for her people to establish the Saber-Fleet. These 7 cutting edge frigates are designed not only with military might in mind, but exploration and foreign aid.

In the fourth year of her reign—21 years after the Battle of Yavin—the Saber-Fleet is christened and launched, each ship given a mission to strengthen the Republic.

On board the H.M.S. Shak'ti, a group of brilliant young women journey with their captain and 1,000 crew mates on a mission to chart safe routes into an area of space beyond the Galactic Core known as the Unknown Regions. Their mission is one of exploration and progressive economic expansion—seeking new resources and trade partners.

Little do they know what a terrible Darkens lies in wait.

To clarify, you're not late, Dani. The ceremony hasn't begun yet. The idea was that our characters could chat a bit before it started.

*chuckles* One of the few times the entire year the situation will actualy call for dress uniform--aka, the only uniform ever called for on board besdies the arm band--and Dani's showing up in a jacket and short shorts. ;)

I wonder who'll notice?

Hi! Sorry for the last minute intrusion, but is there still any room in your game for another player? I've never used the Saga edition before but I'm sure I can familiarize myself with it and get a basic character written up within a day if I'm not too late to hop on board. :angel:

The blond shakes her head, blushing a little, then gives the twi'lek big, incoent blue eyes. "I promise I'll never call you old if you let me call you onee-chan.

:) Okay. We've got somewhere between 5 and 7 right now, depending on Affably Evil and Lindsey. I'm perfectly comfortable with eight on play by post, Lissome, so I'd love to have you.

How may I help? Would you like a sheet template on my google drive? If you want i'm perfectly happy to build for you using twenty questions, or I can just sit back and wait for importatn GM questiosn, or anywhere in between. :)

Did I get the concept across? We're an important part of a ship with a crew of 1,000. 75% of them are Zeltrons. :) We're also very likely to be on away missions.

OOC if you're not interested i Non Con be sure I know--and it doesn't slip my mind. i'm hoping for an all girl cast. Young is prefered but hardly required. If you want to spoil me rotten and make me absolutely thrilled, you could make her a virgin. *blushes*

So, if you want one of the rolls that no one else is really filling, a command officer type would be good. :) Whatever interests you is fine with me, though.
 
I'm going to see a docotr in dallas, leaving tonight, coming back sometime saturday. If my lap top is working, i'll be on a little bit this weekend, but I'll also spend a lot of time on the road and do something touristy.
