Hi, having finally found a gif I like, I've uploaded it to two different sites eg Giphy etc. but keep getting lost trying to upload it to BMR. I just get the right URL but that's it. Can anyone help, please? And if you can, can you make it super simple like me? Thank you!!!

BMR does not seem to support attachments, so you cannot "upload" images to it (other than your avatar), so if you want an image in your post or signature, you have to upload it to any other site that allows linking to images (also known as "hot-linking") and reference the URL here.
There are two ways of doing it: a link and an inline image.
A link is made using the "url" tag, like this:
and looks like this:

An inline image is made using the "img" tag, like this:
and looks like this:
There are more details and nuances, but the above should fit 99% of the cases. If you want to be fancy, I highly recommend Ariamella's wonderful BBCode reference.
