Eamisian is a lush moderately sized human kingdom. Normally peaceful but a trade disagreement has caused the military to be called east to an arid region. This causes some problems since the military normally deals with protecting the populace. Beast of all shapes and sizes are beginning to move in. The king has started an adventurer's guild which will offer support to those who wish to aid there are also military recruiting tents which are popping up in cities across the land.

The port city of Aynor is a bustling place. It acts as a capital of sorts even though the king's castle is much further east past the Golden Scale Mountains. People travel for miles usually to barter their wares and bring back money to support their local economies; however, some people come begging for help from the military to cull various monsters and the little annoyances they cause.

Aynor and to a greater extend Eamisian are ripe for those that wish to prove themselves, see the world, or even just get a little gold.

Big enough for a halfling to ride with a shaggy coat of black and orange, a great sheep dog crested a rise overlooking Aynor and let out a series of excited barks.

“What do you see, Odesyus?” Atrius called from behind him. The dog's excitement was contagious, and the tall, powerfully built Shepard hurried to crest the rise as well. Grey eyes peered out over the town, and the ocean beyond. Atrius's accent and skin tone marked him as a Hellene—a people who lived in a mountainous region adjoining Eamisian. They were good neighbors—too rough and tumble to conquer but too weak to be a threat, they valued education and innovation as much as skill at arms and work ethic.

“We've made it,” the tall man grinned stretching out and holding up his staff, he let out a jubilant woot. “Come on, Odesyus, let's see what adventure this place has to offer.”

Lucia had arrived at the port city of Aynor a while back, doing what she does best to kill some time and make some gold: performing in the streets. While some might describe her as a rogue, she's nothing like the sneaky backstabber that had became the stereotype. She's perfectly capable of that, certainly, but she's a performer first and foremost, and she relies on her charms just as much as her nimble hands and hidden daggers. So when she wasn't engaging in illegal activities, she performs in taverns or the streets to make honest money. In fact, she often engages the illegal activity of pick-pocketing while performing, by getting up close and personal enough with her audience to take their valuables from their persons.

A couple of weeks have passed since her diplomat companions returned the elven forests of the west after visiting the human kingdoms. Desira decided to stay instead, something about these strange lands had caught her eye as even the elves here seemed different yet so fascinating, everything was new and exotic for her and she was eager to know more.

She was just coming down from a ship and into the port. Joka the captain was a wonderful young man, well muscled with a strong angular face beautifully framed by a short beard. He had done her the favor of giving her passage on his cabin as she left her elven friends to travel and meet new places. It had been a really... intimate voyage but it was time already to leave the side of the virile human sailor and go into the streets of Aynor for the first time.

Such an interesting place it turned out to be, so many new people around to meet and sure the bard attracted the glances of the local as her soft accent, mannerisms, the small piece of jewelry on her choker and the details on her clothing and even the strange shape of her musical instruments marked her as a foreigner, not to mention the waving of her hips and her revealing outtif which was pure eye candy considering her beautiful figure.

Atrius had to admit to himself that he was gawking. Not at the city--this place was roughly of a size with the city of olives, and he'd been into the city proper more than a few times. He'd seen other cities since he began traveling, too. First the nations of the Helenes, then the towns and cities of this nation.

It was the ships that were getting his attention!

The sea had drawn him too the docks not long after entering the city, and now he strode down the boardwalk with similar wonder to when he'd first gone into the City in his eleventh year.

He liked to think he gawked with a bit more composure than he's done as an elven year old—if for no other reason than that he had to keep Odysseus from catching onto his excitement and frolicking like wild. The great sheep dog trotted along side him with a big dogy smile for all they came across.

White sails, gray, blue. Strange wears and foreign men on the decks of boats two or even three stories tall—if he made a proper guess about how far bellow the water they went. Atrius pulled up short when he took note of a girl coming down off of a ship, a sensual beauty with fluttering foreign clothing hinting at an exquisite body beneath.

Gray eyes would meet the girls as she came down the plank. Atrius was a tall man with a medium build and a hard body. He had olive colored skin and a long blue black ponytail. He wore a bare sleeved homespun tunic, leather trousers, quality boots with daggers tucked into the top, and a cloak thrown back. He leaned on a sturdy staff. Atrius's eyes took a slow wander down the newcomer's body as she descended, then back up to her eyes. He gave a crooked grin as she passed close enough to hear. “Thank you for your beauty.”

Not everyone in Aynor was out and about, taking part in the hustle and bustle of the town's thriving trade. There were those that kept themselves to the shadows, trying to remain out of sight. Thankfully, the massive crowds would make that job much easier.

Keeping to the alleyways of the town, a cloaked figure slipped from shadow to shadow, trying to keep himself as hidden as possible. Anyone who would see such a person would assume some sort of better or pickpocket or some other unsightly wretch that would inevitably pop up in a town such as this. In reality, underneath that hood was actually a rather attractive young man. However, this particular young man would rather keep his face out of sight and out of mind.

Sitting down against a wall, with a small view of the harbor, Zaltane pulled out some bread he had managed to buy from one of the many shops here and began to eat. It wasn't much, but he managed to get by. He knew simply throwing money around would prove very bad for his health, and draw plenty of unwanted attention.

It was always a good feeling to hit the coming morning with an indifferent yawn. Goes to show how little of a worry one would have, and little worry did Nathaniel had as he opened the window of his suite, greeting the day with a lazy stretch. The salty sea air from the horizon of Aynor mixed with the bustle of busy common folk down below added to the aesthetic of the morning. It was indeed a good decision on his part to start his exploration on the port city, good place to enjoy what little extravagance he could get as he couldn't think to imagine a comfortable goose-feathered bed just lying around in the woods or some famine-struck village. Not to mention the scrumptious sea delicacy, although he could have gone with the journey not taking a toll on his stomach from the sickness of the constant rocking of the galley he boarded.

The thought made him sigh, both for the coming dilemma of a sore back and imagining how the peasants could even survive one day sleeping on top of hay bales. His fencing teacher had said as much, being a veteran of the adventuring life, of what he should expect a kind of living . But it didn't fazed Nathaniel one bit, instead it excited him to an extent. Wondering of the experience he could garner and what kind of help he could give to the poor folks of Eamisian gave a somewhat light kind of rush, an exhilaration that didn't even passed his mind before when he merely read stories of legendary folk heroes.

Prepped for the journey with his stylish pack and equally stylish appearance of his person, he set on out and about - sword and crossbow on his side, and a regal aura that he couldn't help but exude. Best he could do about the latter was merely recognize those that look up at him with a smile. More than enough, he thought to himself.

She sure sure didn't had the looks of an adventurer, wearing fine light clothes that hardly covered her body and even a small piece of jewelry, butterfly wings she had on her back, but a closer look would reveal it was in fact a lyre she carried with her. Still she was wearing armor, a studded bustier that allowed her attributes to be fully admired. While covering her vital spots a great cleavage let her big perky breasts at open sight while her bare midriff enticed the glances around her and accentuated the sway of her walk and her long red hair contrasted in perfect harmony the green of her clothing. And a rapier and a whip on her waist clearly denoted she was ready for troubles too.

The fey blood female looked thoroughly at the man who welcomed her for an instant and then without any concerns Desira grabbed Atrius placing her hand on the back of his head and pulled him closer to her giving him a short but intense kiss. She pulled off almost immediately and then continued her way into the city in the most natural way as if nothing had happened. Without even saying a word at all leaving him unsure of what she could have possibly meant with that and instead she went to talk to a few merchants around.

Asking about nice places to visit in the city and eager to explore the sights of these lands she would also like someone to serve her as a guide. Her hands are pretty invasive as much to men as to women as she speaks but no matter how much some would like to give her a walk these are not times to fool around through these lands and so she inquires more. Offering herself to solve this problem would certainly allow her to meet some beautiful people and to see the wonders of this region.

Lucia: Performing in town will net you a few copper from the local town folk and while you are busy doing that two easy marks walk into your vision. One is a self-satisfied noble who looks to never have had to worry about money in his life and the other is a handsy elf who has quite a few young men and women staring at her and brushing up against her. What's one more?

Artius: That was one hell of a kiss. Stunned for a moment you look around to find she has headed off toward the square. Your dog sits looking at you with a smile on his face panting as though wondering what you are going to do next.

Zaltane: Sitting and watching the harbor you notice a female elf leaving from there. She is drawing quite a crowd and cannot seem to keep her hands to herself. Best to avoid her if you can she draws way too much attention. You also notice some black clouds rolling in from the sea a storm will hit later on tonight you just know it.

Nathaniel: You are certain the peasant folk enjoy your efforts to comfort them. As you walk toward the square you notice an acrobat performing tricks and there is a beautiful new traveler looking for a guild.

Desira: You quickly have many admirers due to your friendly attitudes no doubt. Many people offering to be your guide though how do you know who you can trust and whom not to?

Zaltane immediately noticed the elf in question. Even though this place wasn't unused to Travellers, she seemed to stand out, if only for how free she was with her hands. The sight made the young red head's stomach turn. Not that she wasn't attractive, but because such behavior stirred up some really, REALLY bad memories. He pulled his attention away from her, noticing the dark clouds in the distance. A storm? Zaltane knew he should find some cover before the thing hit.

Quickly finishing his food, he headed towards the square. There was always some good cover there. Unfortunately for him, it was also crowded, including a certain grabby elf who was making her presence known. Thankfully she was drawing attention away from him, which was always a good thing.

However, she did prove distracting enough that the cloaked man ended up running into someone. He stumbled back, quickly recovering and finding that he had run headlong into a noble of some kind, if the expensive clothing was nothing to go by. "S-So sorry sir," he replied hurriedly.

Almost without thinking, Lucia decided to make a move on the noble. After all, she still prided herself to be an ethical rogue who would only take money from people who probably don't need it as much as her, and the noble looked like just like her kind of mark; besides, she had suspicion that the elf was actually a half-elf like her, and she had made a secret oath to not screw over what little kins she has in the world. Loudly and flamboyantly, she let her dance brought her toward the noble, ready to make a move on him.

While it seemed no one would be offering at the beginning, Desira founds herself amassing quite a crowd of fans willing to show her the surroundings. But are they willing to show her the outskirts of the city or just the city itself? Maybe she should look for someone who looked more adventurous, perhaps the man who just thanked her, uhm but he did looked like a foreigner too. Looking around for someone who seemed a local but an adventurer as well her sharp eyes focused first on a noble warrior walking by so she decided to go speak to him.

As she came closer she saw a fellow half elf, a local performer, the exquisite taste of her steps felt irresistible for Desira who couldn't help taking out her lyre to accompany her dance performance with her own playing. Just then a cloaked figure stumbled with the warrior, a beggar?, a thief?, nothing to worry she thought, he should be able to handle himself if any danger was involved but she still kept an eye on him just to see he wouldn't be robbed.

Atrius gasped when the foreign girl kissed him. He reflexively took her in his arms, answering her kiss with lips and tongue. It was a powerful kiss, leaving the tall man reeling enough that he let her get away...

After a stunned moment, Atrius looked down at Odysseus, panting, then inquired, “Well, which way did she go? Come on.”

The tall man with the staff pressed his way through the crowd after the foreign beauty, meaning to join up with her and see what other beautiful madness might follow.

Of course the fascinated looks he had garnered from the rabble was expected and while he wished he could have had more time to spend with them aimlessly chatting, his eyes become preoccupied by the graceful performance of once such dancer by the square. Did someone arranged this for me? he thought in earnest as each wave the dancer did with her body made his feet step closer and closer, enchanted by her movements. So much so that he barely noticed some robed beggar bump into him, only managing a very delayed and highly indifferent "Oh.." when he looked upon him midway his apology.

"Nothing to worry, good chap.." he said with a soft smile. But of course it was something to be wary of. First off, his shirt was made of fine silks from Keadan and nothing but delicate fabrics, not to mention hands, should touch a fine craft as the one that he was wearing. Second, one should always look in front of him when trudging around in order to avoid the very thing he just caused. "Just make sure to look where you're going next time, yeah?" Nathaniel patted his shoulder gently along with the proper disciplining, trying hard not to wince and twist his face in disgust at the coarse feel of his cloak. He made sure not to mention about his clothes, how could he know anyway? The man seemed content with wearing a cloak just a notch above the ordinary burlap sack used to carry coals around. He probably doesn't even know about Keadan and its fine exports. He made a mental note to remember to treat the man to a better tailor.. if he could remember his dirty face, that is.

Just then a beautiful melody rung to his ears which made him turn, seeing the graceful woman dance towards him accompanied by another that played an exotic looking string instrument - craftsmanship comparable to the visage she had. "I think the performance is just starting." he said to the cloaked man, taking his arm around his shoulder as if he was his friend though he merely kept it afloat above - not really touching his delicate shirt on the dirty clothes the man had. "The welcoming committee is a bit late since I already arrived yesterday.. but hey, better that than never.." he whispered to the man.

To be honest, Zaltane was half expecting the finely dressed man to recoil from him, possibly even attempt to strike him for possibly messing up his clothing, instead responding with manner and civility. However, the robed man could clearly tell he wasn't too comfortable with his presence and was merely putting on a show. The subtle gestures that implied he would rather be anywhere else than with him. Before the former slave could make any attempt to leave, he put his arm around his shoulder (sort of), and motioned towards the three people approaching them.

Zaltane saw them all quite clearly. A young man with his dog, the elven explorer with the roaming hands. And a beautiful dancing maiden making her way towards them. All three of them made him uncomfortable. The man made him think of the guards from his past, while the sensual movements of the dancer and the loose behavior of the elf stirred up more, rather unpleasant memories.

"W-Well, it seems you'll be rather busy then," he slowly tried to slip out from the man's hold and back away, "I-I won't keep you then."

Zaltane: With all the people either watching the dancer or the new elf you are quickly getting crowded particularly as more come from the docks all the time and beginning to feel a bit boxed in. There seems to be a whole next to that guy with the staff... Oh, wait that is one BIG DOG!

Lucia: This is perfect! Some beggar is distracting the noble for you the crowd is jostling him what is one more set of hands in the mix? He is a talky one too who looks at who he is speaking to rather than where he should be. (I need a deception roll from you)

Atrius: you have found her as most of the other guys in the city have found her.

Nathaniel: Just when you thought you were going to help this poor beggar out he wants to leave. Something must have made him uncomfortable to cause him to want to escape your presence. Though it does seem as though someone set this up for you. Both girls are walking toward you and watching intently.

Lucia smiled at the musician who helpfully provided her with beautiful music that fitted perfectly with her dancing movements; she already feels a kinship due to their shared heritages, and that fact that the girl is also a performer - and a musician whose acts compliments her - is just icing on the metaphorical cake.

Of course, a good rogue would never trust someone they had just met, but trust has nothing to do with affection. If nothing else, Lucia wouldn't mind taking the musician into a dark alley to have some fun. Or heck, she wouldn't even mind having some fun between themselves right in front of all these audiences!

That is why, before she got her hands on the noble and tried to lift some gold off him while pretending to give him a special performance that involved a lot of physical touch, she got her hands on the bard first; she subtly but deliberately brushed against the other girl's cheek, chin and sometimes even breasts and nether region as she danced, her motions too fast for most people to see, but Desira could surely feel it.

Deception: d20+5 = 19

Oh what a letdown she thought as she heard the words of the warrior noble, he had just arrived the city a day ago and was not exactly what she was looking for. But if she had to choose between a knowledgeable local and a just arrived adventurer she would choose the adventurer, to be showed around is good but it is always more fun when all are exploring the unknown.

Desira didn't mind at all being grazed or caressed by the beautiful dancer as that would be completely normal for her still her attention focused on her, would she be a local? It was just a matter of asking her but that would have to wait until they both finished their performances. She joined her in her sensual dancing then following her moves to the rhythm of the enticing music though her clothes were not that of an artist but more in tone with that of the human noble, delicate and embroidered in silk accentuating the fine jewel in her choker. Still she let the hands of her fellow half elf to freely roam through her body and explore her as she even welcomed her to go further with the sway of her hips while her hands continued to play.

Seeing that the musician didn't reject her advances, Lucia's movements became more and more intimate, her hands lingering on the bard's cheeks and breasts long enough to gently grope them and caress them. Certainly her audience would have noticed her teasing by now, but frankly she didn't care; after all, they probably thought Desira and her are part of the same troupe all along, and the intimacy could be part of a sensual act since girl on girl is hot. She hadn't forgot about the noble, of course, and she did keep her audience plentifully entertained with the shaking of her shapely hips and the bouncing of her ample tits.

By the time the ballad picked up towards a different pace, Nathaniel's attention was long gone from the beggar that he didn't even insisted for him to stay nor reprimanded him for ignoring such a magnificent performance. The way the two women moved their body smooth like the flow of a calm river would have made him find someone to fetch him a chair so he could sit if it wasn't for the fact how the tune and movement eventually became risqué.

His arm loose, the man could easily slip away from him, and with his eyes twinkling like his wide grin at the two women, any kind of malicious movement made towards him could be easily pulled off. Like a silly toy for children, his head slowly bobbed with the rhythm of the music being played and from the way the dancer undulated with little decency; amused and not to mention aroused.

Zaltane managed to slip from the noble's grip easily enough. And thankfully the two girls seemed to be getting more interested in eachother. To be fair, the display was pretty, well, hot, though Zaltane's passed had soured such things for him. It was time he slipped out of this crowd before the wrong sort of people saw him.

Unfortunately, there was only one way through the rabble, and there was a very large dog blocking the way. "Nice doggy," he whispered softly, trying to see if he could slip past without drawing its wrath onto him.

What a great time Desira was having, this way of dancing certainly reminding her of her home, she didn't know people here danced this way too rekindling her interest for to practice her performing arts. Lacking the use of her hands to return the caresses of the unknown performer Desira would start rubbing her hips against the dancer's in a hot sensual way letting her hands explore her body further on. Maybe her skintight leather armor wouldn't be easy to remove at all to fully expose the two big assets she had on display through her daring cleavage but she wouldn't mind her fine short skirt being either lifted up or pulled down to expose a bit or a lot more skin. Performances are to be enjoyed by the performers and by their public and this performance could still be made far more enjoyable for everyone.

Feeling the encouraging rubbing of their hips from Desira, Lucia knew her feelings were reciprocated, and she started to dance closely around the musician, her hands wandering the bard's bare back before they lifted the short skirt so Lucia could rub her womanhood against Desira's over the fabric of their clothing. Desira could feel that Lucia was wearing nothing underneath, her clit was erect and her slits were wet.

While Nathaniel was well familiar with erotic performances - brothels weren't unheard of back home, he has yet to witness women shake their hips and touch each other while stark naked outside under the sunlight where even the birds of mother nature could see them. But just because he was unfamiliar with it doesn't mean he's unaffected. Seeing the dancer's skirt lift to expose her bare nethers surely gave him a rush down his own loins. "Now this is what I call a welcoming committee.." he whispered to himself, licking his lips at the show. A show that the peasants around them shouldn't really be seeing. How could he subject the poor masses to envy from only being able to watch? That is far too cruel, baiting and teasing them.

Confidently, he stepped forward - enough for the two female elves to hear but still give them space to enjoy each other. "I believe we could have a far better stage to continue this dance." he said, tapping the one with the musical instrument on the shoulder, in case they were too entranced with each other to hear him, before turning up to gesture to the extravagant inn he was just in a few minutes ago.

While his master pressed close through the crowd and took advantage of his height to get a good look at the show, the big black dog cocked his head curiously at Zaltain. Sitting down, he gave a single, loud, enthusiastic bark, then reached up to grab the beggar by the sleeve and pull him forewards.

In truth, the dog was trying to get him to crouch down and share some affection--after all his master's attention was very much elsewhere at this moment, and he hadn't had a good scratch in a while.
