Ein Kebia[/u]]
[Cornelia Plains - Northern Coast]
Wakefulness comes slowly, the faint touch of a breeze on Ein's face, the scent of grass and the fade-in vision of a blue sky above, dotted with faint wisps of cloud that do nothing to hold back the warmth of the sun shining high overhead. Only it is not a uniformly blue sky he notices as awareness comes. From left to right, it fades from a blue so pale it is almost white to a black darker than midnight, with hints of redness far beyond the horizon. It is almost noon, just before or just after, and this place is calm but for faint ripples of something that seem to fade in and out of perception, like flashes at the corner of Ein's eyes.
Direction is difficult to discern, but landmarks rest here and there. There is water out there that he can just see from where he stands, off in the direction of the darker skies... Were he to set a course with dark on his right side and light on his left he can see intimations of some structure or other poking above a forest. The very same forest would catch him were he to head lightwards as well... As for the last direction, there is little to see there besides rolling hills and green grass from Ein's vantage point, but it is in that direction that he feels those ripples most strongly, as though beckoning him to seek out their source, though it is a call he is quite capable of denying should he choose...

Zwei Kebia[/u]]
[Mirage Sandsea]
The sand shimmers and roils before Zwei's eyes, so eerily similar to a real sea that for a moment, she feels certain she would simply sink into it never to be seen again before she recalls that she already stands upon it. This place seems desolate at first glance, nothing but sand for miles around, all entrapped in a great bowl created by the mountains at her back. She does not recall how she came here, only that she was once in another place, doing something else, something important, though she cannot recall what...
Her only other recollection is that she has a brother, and that he is here somewhere as well...
From where she stands Zwei sees light and darkness on the horizon, and in fact can see both of them at once without needing to look straight up. It is disconcerting to watch them from this angle, as from here it is quite apparent that there is some sort of struggle going on. Tendrils of darkness creep and crawl, interwoven with the slightly lighter pieces of sky that lash back against them, creating a twisting effect at the center of the clash, as though the sky itself was trying to tear itself apart.
Lower to the ground, Zwei can see structures in the distance, though she suspects some might be mirages. However, if she has no wish to explore the desert proper, the mountains stretch as far as the eye can see and she could follow them to try and find the way out, though which way she chooses -dark or light- could hold meaning...

Neina[/u]]
[Melmond Fens - Western Shore]
Neina finds herself on a silent beach, and everything seems just a little wrong. The sea smell is lacking, as though some integral part of it is missing or diminished. The sand beneath her feet is too fine, too compacted. No sea birds cry, and the wind's touch is chilling, as though it brings with it winter frost despite that the sun shines bright as a summer's day overhead.
Directly away from the sea, a mountain range rises high, and Neina can see flashes of light play over the crags and cliffs high above. Something is up there, and she can feel power within it... To the right of that, the mountains descend into rolling hills beyond which pale grey clouds gather, though they do not darken as though to storm, while to the left of the mountains the sky grows dark, and the mountains stretch on, running parallel to the shore. Perhaps she can find a pass through them somewhere down there... She thinks she can remember a pass, though she cannot say why, for the mountains do not seem at all familiar to her...
