Graff smiled and nodded slightly as she asked if she would be safe. "Yes, don't worry. This is my pack and they know you are mine. If you are with me, you will not be harmed. Let's go" He quickly left the cave and went toward the main pack den. Outside in the grass were the pups. There were five that would be called babies, and a few that were a little older. Still in the area were some adolescents as well. Graff took care of his pack very well and it had grown to a large size. Most were female since he had to kill those who challenged him for his leadership or attemped to form a new pack with some of his other wolves.
Graff went over and sat in the grass. He watched as the pups came over to him. He smiled and started to inspect them. He made sure they were all doing well. None seemed to be sick or hurt. That was good. They also seemed to be eating well. Their mothers were doing a good job.
