~ Ronin ~ Dangerous Music ~ D.E.666 ~

She stared at him in disbelief as he called her obnoxious and questioned who she was really singing for. "Obnoxious? No, I'm not just worried about what other people think. It's about setting an example for children that might happen to look up to me! I don't want teenage girls seeing that I let a strange man into my home and then reading one of those slandering articles that would accuse me of sleeping around with strangers. It could lead to those girls getting hurt and I just couldn't live with myself if that happened!" she said to him. "I honestly don't care about maintaining an image, I just care about setting the right kind of example for the young people that look to me as a role-model. And the only reason I'm worried about my parents and my manager is because my parents are the only people that know me for me and treat me as if I'm not special and my manager would get pissed and try to schedule more jobs for me so I'd have even less time to just be myself and relax, which I already very rarely get to do."

She watched him look at the table again before shaking her head. "Don't worry about it. I'll pay for it." she replied before sighing. "In the beginning, I sang for myself but now... I don't know any more. It's all gotten so big so fast. Now a days, I feel like I'm stuck in a whirlwind that is my life and I no longer have any control any more and the harder I fight it, the worse it all becomes. There are days when I'm surrounded by people but no one ever listens to what I have to say."

George felt ashamed of himself, when she told him about setting an example for children, which was true, although he was pretty sure they had rumors like that circulating about her already. "Rumors like that spread even if a celebrity does not do anything, affter all the sources they get them from are liars. Plus you should let your manager know how you feel; she is no mind reader after all and if she can't understand you should replace her with some one whom can." He said, trying to show her some facts. He had finally realized that he should not be blaming her; after all, she was just human and prone to make mistakes.

"Sorry." He muttered. "I guess like your other fans, I too seem to see you as someone whom can do anything and have no prblems. Well, if you think about it, I suppose I am the closest thing you have to a friend." He continued. "I know I am not the best person to give you advice especially about life. But I think it's time you took a step back, do what you enjoy, rather than just going with the flow of things."

She sighed and shook her head. "Rumors are different. With pictures, they look true. Other then that rumors are nothing but words." she said gently. "And my manager.... My manager is a man first of all, and second, I've already told him my problem. He said he'd change things but so far nothing." She looked away from George while playing with the cloth around her wrist again, her small fingers plucking at a loose thread for a bit. She couldn't believe how relaxed she was able to be with him after what had just happened. She felt as if she could tell him anything and that they'd known each other for a long time.

Hearing him mutter an apology, she glanced over at him before shrugging slightly. When he told her that it was time for her to take a step back and do what she enjoyed, she sighed. "It's not that easy though. My manager already has me booked all the way through the next two months. How do I just tell him to cancel all of my shows, appearances, interviews and meetings for my new book? He'd be after me non-stop and there's no place I can go that he doesn't already know about."

((Edited - Sorry about that.))

George listened keenly, he felt so very close to her at that moment. “Well, I can help on that end. I know I have given you no real reason to trust me, but I can make you disappear from this world for as long as you want. After all I specialise in being inspicuous.” He said, trying not to sound like he was showing off, but he was proud of being able to pass off as a human for so very long. Slowly he reached out with his right hand towards her, so very close to her, yet not touching her. “Question is, how much do you want this and do you trust me?” He asked, his eyes studying hers carefully, for any sign of anger towards him.

He had now known Rain not for the singer she was in the public eye, but for the person that only her family knew about. He felt close but he also knew, the actions he had initiated before could not just be erased so he would have to slowly try to regain her trust somehow. “Rain, what do your parents want you to do? Do they want you to pursue this singing career or just do what makes you happy, whatever that maybe?” He asked, before he started to feel light headed, next thing he knew he started to see black as he fell to the bed. Shit! It had been too long since he had drank blood and now he could not even move just as he was getting close to her. He was almost positive that she was going to turn her in, oh well he thought to himself, at least he had in some way gotten close to her.

Rain stared up at him as he told her that he could make her disappear from this world for as long as she wanted and she swallowed softly as her heart beat sped up a bit. Disappearing and not having to worry about doing what was expected of her would be something of a dream come true. For the past four years, Rain had been working nearly non-stop. Her schedule has been jam packed full of interviews, photo shoots, recordings, concerts, television and radio appearances and signings. The only time she got to rest was on the bus or the plane as it took her to her next job. She finally had her first real break in four years and even that is supposed to only last two weeks if even that. When he reached towards her, she froze with a slightly nervous look on her face before she looked at him as he asked how much she wanted to disappear and if she trusted him. There was a look of raw hunger and want for freedom from her life at the moment and some peace in her tired eyes as she looked up into his eyes. "I... I need this." she whispered to him. "I feel... stretched thin from all the work. I can't do it any more. And though I shouldn't after what you've done, I do trust you."

The question about what her parents wanted her to do made her sigh and shake her head. "My dad wants me to go back to college to be a doctor... my mother wants me to settle down, retire and get married. But they want me to be happy while I do it." she sighed again and ran her fingers through her hair before glancing at him. When he fell to the bed, she froze while staring at him in surprise. Reaching out, she timidly touched his shoulder while saying his name and shaking him a little. "George?" she said softly.

He could barely manage to keep himself from seeing black, every now and then he would fade in and out. Speaking as if he was drunk. "N...eeed... bloo....d" He managed to say, rather hoarsley. He had never blacked out with need for blood but lately each time at the sight of blood he could barely maintain any kind of control. He was unsure of what was going to happen to him, but could feel the burning desire for blood, a throbbing in his throat. Why now after all this time, he could feel the softness of her hand and realised she had agreed to his offer and now he was not sure he would or could make it through the night.

Then he turned to see Rain, but instead of seeing the beautiful girl, instead he could feel the throbbing of her heart and immediately could almost feel the taste of her blood on his lips, causing his mouth to water. No..... he growled, feeling his fangs rise out, he was unsure of how long he could hold himself back and started to flap his hands in a motion to try and signal for her to make a run for it. He tried to plead with her to run but the next instant all the feelings of warmth as well as memories suddenly dissapeared, replaced with just the hunger for blood and right before him was a meal. He snarled loudly, hunching back preparing to attack her, his pupils now had turned black.

Rain stared at him in horror as he spoke of needing blood and she swallowed nervously. She could see the change in him as the hunger for blood took over. When he turned to see her, the young woman swallowed again and her heart began pounding wildly in her chest when she saw the hunger in his eyes. This caused her cheeks to flush a little as blood rushed to the surface of her skin while she stared at him. Rain heard his growl and that just made her heart beat faster as she sat there tranfixed.

But it was only when he hunched back and his pupils turned black that she finally managed to move. Scrambling to the edge of the bed, she nearly flung herself off. Once her feet made contact with the floor, she ran, her fingers grabbing her robe as she ran for the door of her room. As she moved, the woman pulled the robe on before flinging open the door and speeding down the hall.

George’s tongue flickered over his canine teeth outlining them as the food stared back at him. He dived forward just as Rain made her way out of the door. Finding her to be so very slow, he poised himself near the hallway, watching her dash away. He inhaled deeply, her scent was now filling his mind and finding her would be something he would be taking his time with. He enjoyed playing with his food after all. Slowly he made his way out of the hall, taking his time as his eyes keenly drifted from one room to the next.

Inside him, he was fighting a continuous battle, trying to regain consciousness but all he could do was continue to fall down a black pit, helpless to stop. Rain, please be alright, he silently begged, but she was just human and would likely be drained of blood against a vampire. After all that was how nature worked, the strong prey on the weak. Unfortunately not even feelings seemed enough to control the urge for blood.

Rain softly panted as she ran from him, her feet making soft pattering sounds against the hard wood floors of her home. As she ran, she could almost feel his breath against her neck but she knew that part was just her imagination. At least it was for now. She could only hope she could get away from him, but if the stories and legends were true, she didn't stand a chance against the vampire. The womans long hair had come loose and fell around her while her silk robe fluttered behind her as she ran, the liquid like fabric clinging to her skin a bit.

For a moment she considered locking herself into one of the other rooms, but that would just be foolish. If she did that, she'd be trapping herself. So she headed for the steps. Upon reaching them, she moved down the steps as quickly as she could, hoping not to fall but at the bottom of the steps she stumbled and fell the last two or three. The woman landed with a thud and a groan before she pushed herself up, forcing herself on as she hurried towards the front door though this time with just a slight limp from her fall. Once she reached the door, she began fumbling with the locks, trying to get them open.

George could hear the pants of her as if she was right next to him, the next thing he heard was a small thud. Food had fallen, he thought to himself, immediately dashing right through the hallway towards the stairwell to find Rain fumbling at the locks, in an attempt to open a door. George growled lowly, he was feeling a bit frustrated and had grown tired of chasing her. Now all he wanted was to feed.

He slowly begun to walk, which turned into a run, his pace picking up as he went down the stairs. At the very end, he leaned back then dived forward the same way a predator would in an attempt to tackle the prey and feed on it. The carnal hunger he felt inside was deafening as somehow he managed to see what was happening as if a video was playing right in front of him. But could not seem to control himself as his figure loomed closer to her. Oh no, please don't die... Rain, he thought silently, doing the only thing he could to fight the demon which had been brought out cause of the hunger, trying to send his memories of her hoping it would somehow control it.

Rain gasped for breath as she fumbled with the locks, cursing herself for the moment for putting so many locks on her doors. She was finally getting some of them open as George came down the steps after her. She worked even harder and faster to open the locks. Tears began to fill her eyes and she weakly whimpered in fear before swallowing nervously and turning, pressing herself back against the door as he quickly moved closer to her and she shook her head slightly. "Oh no." she whimpered to herself then closed her eyes tightly.

The womans partially open robe framed her slightly exposed breasts as they rose and fell with her heavy breathing and her skin was beginning to become a little damp with perspiration from running and her fear. "George...." she whispered to him, a desperate and pleading tone in her soft voice. Her head was turned which exposed the curve of her long neck and the swell of her breasts.

George pounced right on top of her, immediately his arms and legs covered hers, to keep her pinned underneath him. He disliked it when food moved around he preferred it to be still till he had his fill. His now dark eyes slowly studying each and every nerve along her neck and also exploring down to her breast, then a vivid image went through him, causing him to suddenly take a few steps back. This person was very familiar, he thought, as hungry as he was. The thought of feeding off her suddenly became revolting and he fell to the side, his body starting to have spasms, clutching his stomach he begun turning back and forth.

The colour of his eyes changed rapidly from black back to his normal dark hazel, as he felt like he was on the verge of death. He had never imagined that hunger was this dangerous. "Raine..." He managed to whisper out, his voice was hoarse, the demon within him was something he had managed to vanquish, although the thirst was still there and had not diminished even a bit. The only blood available right now was from the last person he wanted to bite.

Rain cried out when he pounced on her, his heavier body taking down her smaller and lighter one with ease. The girl hit the ground with a thud and a groan before she struggled against him though he held her down sufficiently, keeping her from moving much as she stared up at him with wide eyes. Her jugular could be seen in her slender neck as it throbbed in time with her wildly beating heart and her chest rose and felt quickly with her gasps for breath, her breasts straining against her silken night gown and robe. "G-George..." she whimpered to him.

When he suddenly fell to the side, she remained still before slowly looking over at him as he rolled side to side. The woman slowly moved on to her hands and knees and moved back from him fearfully while staring at him. But when he whispered her name, Rain froze and looked at him. She had heard the stories about vampires and what happened when they didn't feed and she swallowed softly. Rain knew that he needed to feed but she was the only one close by with blood. Swallowing nervously, she slowly moved closer to him before holding her arm out to him and she spoke. "Drink." she said softly. The veins in her wrist and her pale arm could be seen almost as if her skin were translucent. "You need to feed.... So... drink."

George shook his head at first, but while doing so he felt his body move on it's own accord, his fangs sliding out as he held her wrist still, before sinking his canines into her wrist, it was like a moth to a flame. Then a sudden desire burst inside his body, instead of sating the hunger which he had felt, it increased, as did the urgency of his sucking. His feeding was more like an animal's on the verge of death, willing to kill if it needed to in order to get some food. This also was followed by a blissful feeling, to be actually able to feed after so long, this was the best next thing for vampires after sex, but unlike sex this desire was essential.

He reluctantly teared his lips away from her wrist, immediately ripping part of her silky robe, placing the cloth on the wound which was seeping blood. He just hoped he had not taken too much out of her. "Rain.. are you alright?" He whispered, wrapping an arm around her slender waist. "Try not to move. I think I took quite a bit of blood off you.... sorry." He barely managed to look at her as he said those words, this was one thing which he hadn't wanted to do to especially her, yet because of what he was it was so easy to just lose control.

Rain swallowed softly, watching with morbid curiosity as he grasped her slender wrist and his fangs slid out. When he brought her wrist to his mouth and sank his fangs into her tender wrist, she gave a soft cry before gasping as he began sucking upon her wrist. She could feel the blood being drawn out of her and she trembled as her heart worked harder and faster as the amount of blood within her small body lessened. The woman began to feel light headed, but after that a strange feeling set in. It was almost like an adrenaline high and she mewled softly.

Once he finally broke away from her wrist, she shivered a little and her body jerked slightly when he ripped part of her robe and wrapped her wrist. Several drops of the blood hand landed upon her robe and her night gown. She just vaguely heard him and she slowly opened her eyes to look up at him before nodding slightly. "Mmhmm." she murmured. "I-I'm fine. Just a little... light headed." As he wrapped his arm around her slender waist, she slowly leaned into his side and rested her head against his shoulder with a sigh. "Don't apologize. I offered myself to you and told you to drink, which you did." Rain looked up at him. She saw just a small bit of blood on the corner of his mouth, the red crimson staining his lips just a little. Reaching up, she wiped the blood away with her fingers. "You haven't been feeding, have you?" she asked. It almost sounded as if she knew a lot about vampires, though all she knew was what she read in stories and saw in movies or on television.

George stared at her with concern, as she slowly opened her eyes, then felt her fingertips lightly caress his lips. "Yeah, well as of late, I've been after this beautiful lady and I suppose I lost track of hunger along with everything else." He whispered, lightly caressing her cheek. "You know normally humans scream, once they see what I am or after I drain them off blood since I prefer not to kill people. The thing is it's hard to stop drinking once you have even a drop of it." He said, trying to explain to her, why his behavior was so animal like. "Even though vampires are not exactly living creatures, our feeding is similar to a lion's or even human's." He released a soft sigh, he could have lost Rain then and there.

He wondered if she still wanted to take him up on his offer. "Look I understand, if you prefer not to go with me." He said softly, giving her the option to turn her down. His dark hazel eyes fixed on hers, he had been in love with her, since he had first seen her yet even now he did not know how to tell her that. Fear of being rejected was something which he just could not bear especially from her. "A wise man once told me that it was just not possible for a vampire and human to go hand in hand, since in comparison to a vampire humans were just too frail. Also humans on the most part discriminate what they find different, like the world we live in today, humans are having wars, due to color, religion or just cause some people are greedy for power. Although I have to admit, it is the minority whom are like this."

Rain slowly closed her eyes again as he caressed her cheek, a faint smile forming on her lips. From him feeding upon her, Rain's skin has paled a little more and even her normally almost blood red lips had paled slightly as well. If she had eyes as intense as his, she could of probably passed as a vampire. As he spoke, she listened in silence, keeping her head resting upon his shoulder while he held her. His words made some kind of sense, though it still confused her a little, but she somehow knew what he meant. Blood, like food for humans, was a necessity for vampires and when they don't feed for a while, they begin to feel those hunger pangs that could make them almost... desperate and a little hostile when it comes to the first possible meal before them.

The sudden change of topic confused her for a bit and she just sat there before shaking her head and tilting her head back a bit to look up at him. "I still do." she murmured. "Like I said earlier, I'm physically and mentally tired." She closed her eyes once more and sighed as he spoke before smiling slightly. "I think it would be possible for them to live together if they truly wanted. But... I suppose that he was right in some aspects. Humans do have wars over everything and they hate anything different from what they think is normal."

George was thankful that Rain at least seemed to understand the things his hunger had caused him to do, what he had become. But was quite pleased when she said she still wanted to go with him. He placed an arm underneath her legs, slowly lifting her up off the floor. "I agree, you definitely need some rest." He said softly as he made his way up the stairs. He said silently taking in what she said about how she thought humans and vampires could live together had they wanted to. As he sauntered carefully through the wall way, he spoke. "Well, as far as I have known vampires have fallen in love with humans in the past and vice versa, each time at the end of the day though the vampires turned those they love. The changing process is quite delicate and well some of the newly turned vampires went on rampages till they were hunted down. Not everyone can become a vampire is what I am saying. Since then it's quite rare for a vampire to change human, they just feed and release."

He had finally reached the room, opening her door, he lead her soft form to the bed, laying her down slowly on the bed. "The best thing you can do now is rest and recover then we shall discuss what our next move shall be."

Rain gasped as she was lifted up into his arms and he stood with her. Her hand grasped his shirt weakly as he started for the steps. "Mmm, rest sounds good." she whispered with a small smile and a nod. "A good nights sleep." The woman was still exhausted from her show and then being forced to masturbate in front of him and then being hunted and fed upon was just a tad bit too much for her so she felt as if she were about to pass out right there in his arms. "Love?" she whispered as George carried her. "It's hard to find love these days. Most men just care about... pretty faces... sexy bodies and women putting out. It would be nice to find actual love someday." She smiled to herself before yawning and nuzzling her face into his chest with what sounded like a gentle purr.

When he laid her down on the bed, she yawned again and curled up on her side before looking at him. "Could you close the drapes?" she asked softly, glancing towards the windows which had thick, heavy drapes tied back from the windows. If they were untied so that the drapes covered the tall windows, none of the sunlight in the daytime would enter the room. Looking up at him, she reached out and grasped his hand gently. "Could... could you stay until I fall asleep?" she murmured.

George smiles as Rain talked about love, well perhaps she was not as self obsessed as he had first thought when he had met her. He silently nodded to her request and sauntered over towards the windows then untied the drapes to allow them to cover the windows. "You know you don't need to just cover up the windows for my sake. I could just hide underneath a table or wear a cloth to cover myself up." He said with a smirk, the smile immediately disappeared from her next sentence. "Are you sure, you want me to? What if I get hungry again? I mean I think it's a bit dangerous to just trust me that easily." He said unsure of why he was convincing her to stay away from him. Perhaps he was unconsciously thinking about her safety.

But as soon as he felt her hand brush over his, he wanted more then anything just to drop everything and stay there right next to her, as long as she needed him. "I mean I am here for you, if you need me." He whispered, gazing down at her hand on top of his, he knew there was no real meaning to it, but still he wanted to think there was. Here she was touching him, not to push him away or because she was forced, but because she wanted him to stay next to her.

Rain loved and cherished the idea of finding love, but it scared it. In the past love had hurt her before and she was hesitant to put herself in that position once again. As he covered the windows, she smiled gently before shaking her head. "I want them covered... because the sun will hurt my eyes in the morning and I want as much rest as I can get." she whispered to him. "The sun shines straight in these windows." As he asked about her really wanting him to stay with her, she nodded with a soft yawn.

She held his hand gently within her own while she waited for his response. When he said that he could be a danger to her, she shook her head slightly. "Please... Just stay." she said to him. The girl was quickly succumbing to sleep as she laid there, her eyes drifting shut before her breathing deepened as sleep over came her slender body and she fell fast asleep, her hand slowly slipping away from his.

Ronin was a bit afraid of himself and what he might do to her, but he could not leave her. As her hand begun slipping away, he caught it in his, lightly rubbing against it with his thumb, as he just sat there, gazing down at her now soft warm sleeping. It was different to before, since this time his eyes could see just how innocent she was and how beautiful, it almost made him want to caress her, but instead he stuck to just rubbing over her hand, lowering his lips down he places a soft kiss on her hand. "Sweet well, princess." He whispered, wondering what to say to her when she awoke. He could not believe how fast the time seemed to go as he could see a glowing light hidden behind the curtains. He could get used to waking up to this, he thought, with a soft smile.

Rain slept deeply and peacefully, only once shifting in her sleep and that was to turn onto her side to face him a little more while he held her hand and caressed it with his finger. She slept for the rest of the night and well into the late morning before she made any sign of waking up. As the morning trickled away, she finally sighed in her sleep and her eyes fluttered before finally opening. Rain was a little disoriented as she laid there staring at her clock before blinking and slowly looking down to her hand that rested in his and her gaze followed his arm up to his face and she gazed up into his eyes. "I thought it was a dream." she murmured as she laid there, still waking up.

He found himself, staring at her as she slowly opened her eyes. "Sorry I guess I must have brought back some bad memories from last night." He said, slowly allowing his grip of her hand to loosen. "Well, since the sun is still up I can't really move freely outside but if you'd like I can make a move tonight." He said, once more talking about leaving her alone for her safety. He silently regretted those words even though deep inside he knew it was the right thing to do. "Rain I can't promise you I won't grow hungry again, drinking blood for vampires is like drinking water for humans, we can't go too long with out it." He said grimly as his gaze lowered to the broken drawer set. "Well, the only alternative seems to me to be one of us but even that way is quite dangerous I could accidentally kill you or you could go mentally insane after you turn into one of us."

She stared up at him as he spoke. Feeling his hand loosen, her's instinctively gripped his a little tighter as if afraid he'd suddenly disappear. As he spoke about leaving her alone, there was a momentary flash of disappointment on the young womans face but a moment later she masked it. She listened silently as he spoke about becoming hungry and she watched him before sighing. "George, I know that you must feed and I know that you don't wish to hurt me." she said softly while slowly sitting up in bed. She paused as the room spun for a moment before her head cleared and she blinked a few times before looking down at her bandaged wrists. If anyone saw them, they'd probably think she tried to kill herself. Hearing him speak about her becoming one of them, she looked up at him and just stared up at him. "George.... I already feel as if I'm insane and as foolish as it sounds, I do trust you. But seeing as how you're the one that would be doing it, I'll leave the final decision in your hands."
