Lacey could almost see as the Beast processed what she said, a smile starting to creep into her lips. It was a huge relief when she heard him softening up to her, starting to understand what she meant. Right now, she was convinced that things would start going, if not smoothly, at least not as bumpy as before. "Yes, that is exactly right!" she noted, already beaming at the results. Part of it was the greedy idea of reading every single book on these large shelves, but part of it was the illusion of a fairy tale she was dreaming of, starting to fall into place. She was already starting to walk in the library, caressing the spine of a few books delicately, when she overheard the exchange.
"Excuse me, Mister King?" she asked hesitantly. "What do you mean move my things to your bedroom?" She didn't think much of it, certainly, her naive, virgin mind not initially thinking about the things that happen between a man and a woman in the bedroom. Instead, the rebellious teen inside her hated the idea of sharing her private space. "I mean, I'm sure you value your space and I'll still make sure to care for you as best I can...?"
