He smiled as he heard her, letting her touch his wings for a long moment before picking her up in his arms. He carried her out of the estate, before he took flight. The rain had stopped for the most part, and they flew for a long time, going over the forest to the nearby mountains. Near the middle of the mountain, he landed, his wings disappearing as he walked into the cave, still holding her.
The cave path was dark on the inside, nearly impossible for her to see anything, though he had perfect darkvision. They walked like this for about ten minutes, before he put her down. He walked ahead of her, unseen, though there was the sound of moving water nearby.
"This is where I go to calm down and ease my mind." He said in a soft voice. A candle lit up in front of him, giving him a silhouette. "I hope you enjoy it here." He turned around, and candles all around the room, starting with the ones next to the one he lit, caught on fire, lighting a rather big cavern that went deeper in than the candles lit so far. There were many springs of water, the largest one being fed by a underground waterfall, small enough that it didn't flood the cavern.
