She could feel her cheeks heating up. "Well, I was not going to correct the soldier." She said feeling like a bit of a fool. "And we are going to be married soon." She wondered if he was upset that she had not corrected the soldier about their martial status. Eleanor swallowed a little. "I do not know how soon but after this... well, I am a little paranoid now with this cause." She mentioned as she went to sit herself down but she was also about redressing his bandages since the ones that had been done on the field were dirty and could not be good for his health. Not that there was knowledge of germs but, she also liked things to be clean.
"Well, you will not be pleased when your beauty of a nurse wants you to undress so that I can redress your loose bandages." She said to him with almost a serious expression. "Although, I am quite lucky that you are well enough and awake." He was in pain but there was a little part of her that thought that it was his own fault for fighting. However, she would never say that. It was only a relief that he was alive for her to be there with him. "Thank you... I worry because I love you." She mentioned as she lifted the basket onto his bunk as she was sitting so close to him so delicately.
"Now, I will not kiss you until this bandage is wrapped." She said sternly before smiling a little. "Well, I suppose that one kiss will not hurt." She mentioned before leaning in a little and kissing him on the lips so that they could be close. It was a quick kiss as she was smiling a little, her cheek flushed before saying. "Not another until I have you in better care. We do not want you to get a fever." That could truly kill him and so, she was praying that he would recover quickly.
