Otoya smiled gently as his daughter reassured him that nothing was wrong; of course, he would be able to pick up when she might be lying. But she was never the type to fib like that; she was far too straightforward for things like that. "I'm just glad you're alright, Katsumi-chan." he replied, keeping it short and sweet for her.
His eyes told that feeling that he wasn't incredibly thrilled about her taking a ride from a stranger, even if he was from her school still, she had a terrific sense of judgment and he was confident she had everything in control. She was so mature for her age; while he would support her no matter what, her level of sense and dedication to her studies and duties made him that much prouder to call her his daughter.
"Of course, dear. Just make sure you take some time to wind down before starting." he said calmly, walking past her. "Come on, I'll ask your mother to make some tea to help you relax."
