(Yeah. I'm okay with that)
Callie was glad to be home. Everything was so familiar, so perfect. When Nadia left, she felt a relief wash over her, and she made her way to her room and sank down on her bed. The weeks turned into months, and Callie only saw her father a few times. He was always so busy. She tried to tell him about her kidnapping. He told her she was allowing her wild mind to run away, and she should get a grip. "People might think you're crazy, and my daughter can not been seen in the press as crazy. So get a grip Gabby." She had watched him leave his study, her still standing there, and said, "My name is Callie daddy." Her mother wasn't much better. Still spending daddy's money and drinking, she thought of Callie as either an annoyance or one of the hired help. Once she even began to order her around like a maid when she came into the room to talk to her. Late one night she watched them leave from the balcony of her bedroom. Her mother insisting they had forgotten something. "Yeah. Me. You didn't even say good-bye." Her father looked back at the house, and she actually smiled when his eyes meet hers'. "No. We've got everything of importance." They climbed into the car and left. Once they were out of sight, Callie looked up at the stars, and her mind drifted back to Nadia and Sarovir. A smile melted across her lips. They had met under strange circumstances. The entire situation had been strange to be honest, but they had become more of a family to her than the one she had. She walked back inside her bedroom and picked up the phone Nadia had given her and walked back outside. Gazing up at the stars again, she ran her fingers over the buttons on the phone. "Sarovir. Nadia. I miss you. You were the best family I ever had. I'm sorry. You were showing me the world and giving me everything I could ever want or need. All I wanted was this place, this empty house. A house isn't home. Family is, and you guys were my family. I just didn't see it, and I'm sorry." She hung her head not paying attention to the phone in her hand.
