He hadn't even been able to hand her her glass when she was already turning it down. He should have figured that this wouldn't have been enough, so with a little sigh he placed the bottle and glasses down. Ben looked around, he had been to this house a few times and knew the general lay out. "Well I would hate to make you walk all the way home. And you don't need to bring anything, just your presence has made this party infinitely more entertaining. Now let's go borrow a bottle then." He gave her his hand to guide her through the house, James did keep his bottle in the cellar downstairs. Usually the cellar was only opened when alumni came by to donate some money and pretend that they still could party like their college days.
As they approached the cellar door they would be able to see a tall thin man resting his back against the door with a cup of beer in his hand. He was chatting up a pretty brunette who was clearly only 18 years old. James was wearing tan slacks and a red and gold polo t-shirt, the colors of his frat. When he saw Ben he initially scowled at him for interrupting, but when he spotted Winry the scowl quickly died. He instantly turned from the young girl to Winry. His green eyes went up and down her body once and he gave her a perfect practiced smile as he said, "Well Ben I had no idea you knew such lovely women, and I cannot understand why she would come here with a guy like you."
Ben was rich but he did not come from old money like James. James had always felt he was the most important person in the room, but Ben ignored this to say. "This is my good friend Seduction, she has excellent taste in alcohol and would like to try out some of yours." This caused James to smirk, instantly picturing an easy conquest, and he completely ignored Ben to say. "Well Seduction, shall we leave your friend and take a tour of my wine cellar?" Ben rolled his eyes but gave her hand a light squeeze, expecting her to ignore him and find a way to get all three of them downstairs together.
