Ben was walking back to his run down frat house after finishing his basketball practice. He had only gotten into the local university because he was good enough to earn himself a scholarship, he had never tried hard enough at school to get good grades. Hell, he never tried hard enough at basketball to make sure his team won. The only thing that really ever seemed to motivate him was the attention playing basketball got him. He loved knowing that everyone had their eyes glued to him, that he was the center of attention and envy. Yet recently he had started to find it all a little too easy. He was a sophomore now, and had been to enough parties and fucked enough sorority girls to find his current lifestyle a bit too repetitive.
That is why he knew he needed a change. He needed something that would actually challenge him for once. He was so wrapped up in this thought that he didn't even notice the cardboard boxes that were stacked up outside of his neighbors house. His school was fairly large and was smack down in the center of the local town. It was only natural that college students and locals would live side by side when the rent was so cheap. He scanned the boxes and was glad to see that there were no toys or anything indicating that a family would move in next door. The last thing he needed right now was someone to tell him to be quite or prevent him from having fun. Part of him was actually curious as to who would be moving in at a time like this. It wasn't too late in the semester for a student to transfer, and if this person was a student, maybe they would turn out to be a new attractive girl that he could fool around with.
A smile creeped to his face at this new thought, and he quickly turned down the small concrete path too the new house. He was still wearing his black baggy basketball shorts. They had a gold stripe running up the sides of both of his legs, and his team logo of a falcon was on the right side of his pants in the middle of the stripe. He had taken off his number 15 jersey and was only wearing a white muscle shirt now that was still drying up from the practice. Of course he had put on deodorant but maybe it would have been best to shower first, instead of coming over with his red hair falling all over the place and his glasses slightly off center. He rang the door bell once, before leaning back and waiting, hoping that his luck would start to change with whoever was behind that door.
