School Rumble (Broom and I)

"Hmm...For now. And if drinking water won't make you produce more cum, perhaps not letting you cum for an entire week will do the trick." She grinned at him, her hand going to his cock and giving it a playful flick. It was probably sensitive but...she didn't care.

"Okay, okay!" Dujae hissed a little. "I'll drink more water, shit...easy, that's the only dick I have," he grimaced. Ugh, all it took was a little nudging and he was just putty.

"Don't be such a baby..." Catalina rose up and then stretched a little bit. She really was sore...a bath was exactly what was in order for her. "I'm going to run a bath, come with me so you can wash my back." She told him as she disappeared in the bathroom.

"A please wouldn't kill you, you know," Dujae grumbled, but followed after regardless, his eyes settled contently on the sway of those big hips. Ah...who was he kidding? He liked the orders. Made his dick rock solid. Even if it hurt to get an erection right now, he certainly couldn't help it. Ah, well...this was his lot in life now, Cat was sticking around if he liked it or not.

Recovery went as well as it was going to, really. Everyone was stuck in their own little worlds, Kuki kept Mei company whenever she could, and while she didn't get a lot of time out of her room, Kuki brought things for her to do, since at least it kept her off her leg as much. Paperwork, potential recruits...all the fun, boring things of a leader. But a few weeks into the routine, Kuki came with a more interesting bit of news.

"...Mei," she mumbled. "...Um, you might want to see this," she said, handing her a letter with the seal of the Turugan PD. As everyone knew, since Nicholas was convicted of murder, domestic terrorism, etcera, ectera...he was locked up. The Mayor still had no idea what to do with him, and the chaos around Turuga meant he had more important things to worry about. "Nicholas has...asked to talk to you."

Mei was sorting out the last box of paperwork she had in her room to be filed away both electronically and physically. Had taken her two weeks, but thanks to Kokoro she had gotten it done. Her cousin may have always seemed angry with her, but she was really good about organization. Mei had eventually assigned her to the research team, or rather the "nerds" as Jana liked to call them.

Seeing Kuki was a normal thing now, despite her having apparently a new "shadow" since she knew Aimee was around here somewhere. Her father was furious when he found out how hurt she got, enough to have an adult just loitering about the place to be some bodyguard Mei didn't need.

"Nicholas?" There was a surprised look on her face. What did he want? On one hand, she really..really hated him. That part of her wanted to just ignore the letter. But the other, more rational side of her opened it up to read it.

Mei,

I know what you're up against, if you want answers...I want out. Your word may have more influence than you think, but these people won't just go away. You need to poison them from the top. If you're interested, I've got nowhere else to go anyway.

Kuki watched her expectantly, trying to be polite but her nerves were clear on her face. She wanted to know, why would Nicholas even want to talk to her again anyway?

Mei narrowed her eye and then looked up at Kuki. "As much as I detest Trevlyn, he's offering useful information. I suppose I should go see him." Mei had never figured out what the four girls and that boy had wanted, and the girl who had given her the injuries she had had never been seen after that...So she had really no where to go. She rose up from her desk and then patted Kuki on the head. "If you want, you can come with me." She told her as she walked over to the door with her crutch. She had gotten used to it, so she wasn't as slow.

"I'd be honored," Kuki smiled widely, content to follow right next to Mei. She had really enjoyed spending all this time with Mei, it made her like her even more. "You never know if someone is looking to attack you again, Mei." Especially lately, when everything was such a mess still.

"Yeah, well I can handle myself even on a crutch..." Mei told Kuki with a shrug. She had started learning some new tricks with her mother...self defense tricks. She couldn't do very much with her physical attack, but her technique had good range to it and required little movement. She opened the door and there was Aimee with a smile.

"I'll give you a ride to the station." She told her as she turned her back and started walking down the hallway. Mei pouted a bit and followed. How the heck did she hear things so clearly?

"We appreciate it, Miss Aimee," Kuki said politely, mostly because she had a feeling Mei didn't feel up to that...every interaction with Aimee had been polite and courteous to her, and...well, she was very beautiful. She had to many women to look up to, she didn't know how to focus on that.

"No problem. Can't have Mei limping around to the bus stop every time she needs to go anywhere." Aimee responded as they went into the elevator. Mei rolled her eyes so hard that her head followed the movement.

"I need to do something first before we go." She said as she pressed the button that would take them to the second floor. She really hadn't been around to stop by the classroom where the intelligence department worked from..but there was a good reason for that. When she came in, she immediately spotted Adam before everyone else, and she did her best to not look...guilty? She felt really guilty, that was for sure. But she had to be professional. Kokoro, she was looking for her cousin..but she didn't have to work far. They were actually working..pretty close together. Why did she have a weird feeling about that?

"Kokoro..." Mei started, feeling some eyes on her as soon as she spoke out loud. Word had gotten out that her and Adam weren't dating a while ago and ever since...well she felt a little unwelcome by this particular group of students. Though it was nothing over the top, they probably just felt a little awkward. "I have more..papers that need to be filed that I put in order, so...you can stop by my room and pick them up."

Kokoro looked at her cousin and then raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Was there a reason why you didn't just bring them down yourself?"

"She prefers a more hands on approach," Adam murmured, not that he looked away from his screen with a rub of his face. To be fair, he did have a lot of work to do, but that obviously wasn't the only reason. Bad blood or not...Adam did still realize that he had to get over it, even if he actually wasn't over it. "We'll get them to you soon, Mei."

Mei hated when Kokoro did that...and she wasn't entirely sure if Adam was defending her or not. She couldn't tell if he was still angry, but then again she knew he was...the way he said her name kind of indicated it.

"Hmph." Kokoro responded as she went back to work. She hadn't charmed Adam yet but only because she was trying to make it..natural. She didn't just want to start flirting with him for seemingly no reason. "Adam and I will take care of it, Mei. We've been staying up pretty late together trying to get everything back online. I'll get them later."

Mei didn't..really like all this "We" talk. Staying up late..together? She was so uncomfortable hearing that, and Kokoro could see that reaction...it was a slight one but it made her feel good anyway. Though her face remained..composed.

"Thanks...you two are doing a really good job..." Her tone was genuine, though a hint of uncertainty was in her voice. But who was she to talk when she spent most of her nights longing to be with the man who split them up in the first place?

"...Thanks," Adam said, his tone genuine too as he glanced at her. "...Mind yourself out there, alright?" Yeah, it sucked...a lot. He wasn't even going to lie about that. And...yeah, he didn't like seeing her when he knew that Komoku of all people was the reason things were like this. But that didn't mean the feelings were completely gone, at least...on a more friendly level.

"You're welcome. And I will..." Mei looked at the two for a few more minutes before she turned around and walked out of the classroom.

Just that tiny reaction was enough...that was enough for Kokoro to put her plan in motion. It was close to lunch time and she would have an excuse to be alone with Adam. "Hey, Adam. Would you like to have lunch with me?"

****
Mei followed Aimee to her SUV..which was entirely too nice for a maid really but...her father gave generous gifts. She slipped into the backseat with Kuki and could only be thankful for the space for her leg. She was still bummed out seeing Kokoro and Adam together, but she had to focus.

"...Sure," Adam murmured, glancing at Kokoro curiously. "I guess I could use a break for a while," he admitted. He was getting hungry.
--
"You okay?" Kuki said gently, friendly hand on her shoulder. She could imagine that entire scene was painful, at least.

Kokoro gave him a polite smile and then got up from her seat. She was definitely a quiet type, but she did socialize with her new classmates regularly, even though most of them seemed to be intimidated by her. Mainly because for some reason this entire group was male...and of course she gave Adam a little bit more attention which would definitely make a couple jealous of the guy. "I packed my own lunch, and I made enough for two if you like Japanese cuisine?"

********
"Yeah, for the most part." Mei responded as she looked out the window. "I shouldn't be feeling this way anyway. I don't have a right..." Well, she had been getting lonely. With Aimee around she had to avoid Komoku. Her father was upset about her and Adam not being together and the last she wanted was for him to find out it was because of another guy. A guy responsible for destroying their old building.

"Yeah, I do," Adam smiled faintly. "...Thanks, Kokoro." he said honestly. "It's been nice having someone whose been a little...out of events recently," he admitted. "You're good company." The wound was still fresh, after all. Maybe it was rebound feelings, but he really didn't care at the moment.
--

Kuki hesitated a moment, but scooted closer to nuzzle against her shoulder, arm around her waist in a friendly hug. "I'm here when you need me, Mei," she promised. "Not just me, but a lot of people."

"It's not a problem, Adam. It would be boring to just work on these tedious tasks with nothing but our own thoughts to accompany us.." Kokoro knelt over, her short skirt flashing a bit of her panties to anyone looking at her. She fished out a large backpack from under her desk and then pulled it over her shoulder. There was nothing but her lunch inside...but it looked kind of big. "Shall we go eat in the courtyard? The cafeteria gives me headaches."

******
Mei had gotten used to Kuki's displays of affection and she learned to appreciate them. "Thanks Kuki..." She wrapped her arm around the younger girl and leaned her cheek against the top of her head.

Didn't really take long to get there. A red headed man with a cold stare greeted the two girls a the front if the station. When Mei asked for Nicholas, he gave her a curious look but led her into the visitor room. They sat and waited for Nicholas to be brought out. Mei was...having mixed feelings.

"...Sure," Adam smiled, rising up. "That sounds great, Kokoro. It's nice to have an extra hand, too...not a lot of people want to be recruited into our little hole in the wall at the moment."

Nick had seen better days, really. But for the most part, he was carried in with a pair of long handcuffs and dressed in a jumpsuit. He had committed murder and countless other atrocities in the span of a day, but the Mayor didn't have time for much of that. Turuga was on a thin thread of stability, even the police had to deal with the issues. His hair wasn't so slicked back anymore, it had grew a bit longer, his face filled with stubble.

"Mei," Nicholas greeted, hands resting on the table. "I hear congratulations are in order, at least until the council decides if you're suitable or not for the DC."

"That is why Mei put me in here. Not to mention she is familiar with my talents in case any terrorists attack this place directly. So she wanted me here." Terrorists. Kokoro almost smiled at that one, but she controlled herself. She took Adam forcefully by the hand and led him to the courtyard. It wasn't bad, it was still being cleaned up but...the grass was freshly mowed. Kokoro unzipped her backpack and got out a picnic blanket to sit on. She..liked going all out, but then again lunch time was a nice time to just relax.

*******
Mei narrowed her good eye at him..the one that wasn't bandaged. Though she had to say it was a shame to see him this way. He would have been a promising student if it wasn't for what he had done. All that perfection had turned into this...

"I don't want your congratulations, Trevlyn. I just want what information you have to share."

Adam didn't have much choice, but he liked the change. The change that he was trying not to think about, but it was still...nice.

"...Planning this?" Adam joked with a faintly amused smile. "A large lunch, a blanket..."
--

"I suppose so," Nicholas chuckled. "However, as much as I wish to help you, Mei..." he said, holding his wrists up. "Without a deal, I am offering you everything for nothing. I want out." he stated simply. "Conscript me, sentence me to time as a DC agent, whatever you'd like, but I will not stay in jail any longer."

"I do this every day." Kokoro said as she pulled out a large thermos and one sturdy looking cup. Placing it on the blanket, she then pulled out a large bento box and two disposable pairs of chopsticks. "Do you know how to use these? Or should we make a trip to the cafeteria?" She asked with a tiny little smirk.

********
"You killed a person, Nicholas." Mei said lowly. "Several, actually. Students died because of what you had Komoku do..." Honestly...Mei could forgive Komoku even if she would never admit to that. She wasn't so sure about Nicholas though. He knew better. "How do you expect me to just set you free? How do I know you're not just going to conspire against me if I do not fit your description of what a leader should be?"

"I'm familiar," Adam said dryly, sitting on the blanket himself. "Very familiar, actually" he said, in fluent Japanese, taking the chopsticks.
--

"And why is it that Komoku isn't in here too?" Nicholas asked dryly. "Do you believe that he needed my help to do something like that? That he wouldn't have done so if he had an opportunity on his own? You think I am less trustworthy than him, simply because I asked him to help me, and not because I ordered him to?"

Kokoro blinked for a minute and tilted her head. "What a pleasant surprise. Then eat as much as you'd like." She didn't know very many people outside of her heritage that knew Japanese...such a thing was odd to her. But she was just as fluid as Mei was...maybe even more. She opened the box and revealed lots of rice and curry. It was actually much more than enough for two...but Kokoro's father and mother were rarely ever home so she usually always made big lunches just to take it home and eat later.

*******
Mei had a little trouble answering that. He would have been in jail if he hadn't gotten away. Instead, Jana found him and forced him to work for her. She was glad, too. Well, that he was repaying a debt for what he did. "...We needed help, and so far he's been a very good asset. But he's like a dog, he's loyal and up front. That's why I can trust him. You? You just lied to my face for weeks until you attacked, and you tried to actually kill me."
