Luca had been following Milo from a close distance, not directly, but through some of his lesser minions, all recently turned and weak, bearing less presence than even a human being. No one knew he had this little army, and they didn't last much anyways, Luca always dispatched them after a short time, those nameless, little creatures weren't more than tools and toys for him.
Once Luca tracked Milo that night, from his lair, he watched him, walking around the city so eagerly, he watched Milo enjoying until the last drop of blood from his victims, he was so thirsty, Luca almost wanted to invite him to spend the night together, Milo was his favorite, it always have been, yet that might change, if Luca find out that Milo was really seeing the werewolf. Such disgusting creature, shapeless, mindless, filling the air with its smell miles around it, only the thought of getting close to that thing made Luca frown. Noticing a change on Milo's attitude, Luca sat up from his relaxed position at the long black divan. What caused that? A new prey? The vampire saw in his mind how that black haired boy bumped into Milo, clearly on purpose, and Luca hated him, it was him, the were... Luca was sure about it. Even his ghouls sensed the smell of the beast and feared it, many of them running away, such a bother, he would have to find them and kill them later. But now, there was no time, he needed to do something about this friend of Milo.
Luca seemed to get up, walked over the door and disappear from the building all in a single move, an only thought of him was almost enough to do as he pleased. And so, he was in seconds, standing upon Milo and Julian's heads, hearing their exchange of words. Outrageous... was the smallest word Luca thought. He was furious, hands fisted to the point of bleeding, leaving four small wounds on each palm that healed as soon as he released. The ancient vampire glared down at Milo and fought so hard to not just jump over him and slaughter him and then get rid of the creature. He had to admit, the human did look rather attractive, if it was a whole different situation he would definitely invite them both to stay with him. In that moment Luca grinned, a wide, twisted smile accompanied by a mischievous shine that crossed his eyes. He definitely was going to take them with him, only that not like the first way he thought.
Still with that grin, Luca jumped down and caught the boy under an arm, so easily, he was so light and weak in comparison to him, and then, after another jump he left Milo behind, sure that he couldn't see him. Luca flew across the city and out to the empty fields, as fast as he could, trying not to take in the smell of the creature trapped on his arms, and hoped the cold wind and the rain that had started recently would wash away that nasty scent, it was making him sick... the price one had to pay for not being a heartless thing.
After less than half hour later, Luca finally touched ground. He stood at the middle of a circle made with huge grey monoliths, the place of his birth, both human and vampiric, the old construction known as Stonehenge, but when he was born, the stones weren't there, they were still part of the earth. While the time Luca was born and during his human youth, the place was marked by simple, but big logs. But of course, there was no trace of those millenarian times, it was all gone, all vanished except Luca. He was the last one of a great, mystical lineage, druids, were called by modern people.
Luca looked around for a moment, ignoring the bundle of blood and meat that he was carrying. Soon, a few ghouls appeared, carrying logs and chains. He smiled and threw the boy to the ground, not as hard to smash his body, but he made sure it would hurt, a lot. "Good..." He spoke for the first time. His voice was empty, no trace of feeling, nor negative or positive, simply nothing, only in his eyes one could still get a glimpse of something other than the love for killing.
The ghouls did what he silently told them to, raise the two logs on the ground and braid the heavy chain to them. Once it was done, Luca glared at them, and then, they were nothing more than ashes. He chuckled, seeing how the wind cleaned the small piles and let the place unpolluted as it was moments ago. He glared the at the young man and grinned. "Do you want to feel that?" The vampire spoke inside the other's mind as he pointed at the ashes flying away. Luca walked over and wrapped a hand around the lad's neck, as he slowly dragged him to chain him to the logs. "Now dog..." He actually pronounced the words, eyes fixed on the other's. "We'll wait for the traitor to come". Luca jumped to stand over the logs and remained motionless, his eyes now wondering, taking a long view of what once were his lands.
