Twin Ordinances - Fantasy/Medieval/Creature/Sci-Fi
Seperated at birth, two vampire sisters, maternal twins, are taken away from their home and their parents slayed. One was taken by a stronger clan of vampire, the other was taken by a clan of vampire slayers when the 2 forces who had been at war for centuries, collided at the girls home.
The one taken by the clan of vampires was trained to hunt down and kill vampire slayers specificaly.
The other one was trained to kill her own species, and protect the humans from any harm that may come to them.
Both Vampires have heard of eachother by their Nickname, and either of them refuse to rest until the other is dead..
But when they meet up, will they know they're siblings and decide to join forces? Or will they never know, and still intend on killing one another?
Okay for this plot we are going to use the classic vampires so i will explain and build a simple template below so you know what i mean by that.
The Classic Vampire
10 times stronger and faster than a human.
ultra sensitive heightened senses, sight, sound, smell, taste, touch
The have the following abilites:
telepathy (reading thoughts of enemy or prey and also able to speak to them with their mind)
telekinesis (ability to move an object with the power of one's thoughts which allows them to harm thier enemy without lifting a finger)
hypnotic gaze (if humans stare into it they can be controlled by that vampire)
Fly
Turn into mist/vapor
shift into animal form (either wolf or bat or something of similar size)
Fast Regeneration (allows the vampire to heal at a very fast rate though if they get hurt too badly they must rest for a while to fully regenerate. the older the vampire the faster they can regenerate and can also regenerate lost limbs completely but it takes a day or so of rest to do.)
control animals (Vampires can control certain animals that are in a short radius of them. Some examples of animals are bats, rats and wolves.)
Spider climb (Vampires can also climb walls without any equipment, in a similar fashion as a spider.)
WEAKNESSES
Sunlight: go out in sunlight and become a roasted marshmallow plain and simple.
Stakes: All vampires, can be slain when a stake (preferably a wooden one) is driven through their hearts. The weaker ones can be killed with this alone, while the stronger types can still live through the agony. If this is this case, their heads must be removed from their heads and their mouths must be stuffed with garlic.
Decapitation: Weak or strong, vampires can be destroyed with the removal of the heads from their bodies. Though vampires tend to be quick, it is best to injure these creatures or make them immobile by hammering a stake through their heart.
Fire: ALL vampires burn.
Holy Symbols: Holy water and Crucifixes are some of the best known devices to use against vampires. The crucifixes are commonly used to hold a vampire at bay, but in order to use these, you must have faith. Young-Bloods and Adults can be held at bay without much of a problem, however, should you use these against a Master, you must have the UTMOST faith, or else it will not work. Holy water can be used to burn a vampire and sanctify an area, making it safer for humans.
Water: Vampires CANNOT cross oceans or rivers on their own, it is impossible. However, it is believed that they can have aid by being in a vehicle such as a boat to help them across. If you find yourself chased after a vampire, but unable to defend yourself, run to find the nearest body of water. It is recommended that you do NOT use a pool or small lake to hide from, because vampires can wait on any side until you tire and come out or drown. However, you can possibly wait them out until the sun rises.
Garlic: Vampires cannot stand the smell of garlic, it sickens them to no end. Even the most powerful vampires have some dislike for the garlic cloves of the world. However, just because one person doesn't like garlic, do not go up and try to slay them. Chances are it's either a vampire, or just some random human who doesn't like the taste or smell of garlic. It is said that wild roses and hawthorn plants also harm the undead.
Vampire Timeline
Fledgling
During the first twenty years of a vampire’s life it is considered a Fledgling. These very young vampires gain a few basic abilities such as fangs, claws, night vision, super-human speed, super-human hearing, super-human sense of smell, and empathy. Fledglings must sleep during the day and must drink blood every day.
Toddler
As they get older they reach the toddler stage, which is twenty one years to fifty-years. At this stage they gain the abilities of super-human strength, super human stamina, transform into mist, increased agility, and mesmerism. They only need to drink blood every one to two days.
Adolescent
After the toddler period of a vampires life, there comes the adolescent time. This period last for fifty years. In this time vampires gain the ability of telepathy and only need to drink blood every two to three days.
Adult
The young adult vampires age ranges from 101-250 years. They gain the ability of flight. Their skin becomes more like iron and they do not need to drink blood for three to four days. Basic liquids that humans consume can now be consumed by vampires such as alcohol, soda, coffee, and others.
Middle Aged
Middle aged vampires are 251-1,000 years old and have a strength increase and do not have to drink blood for four to five days. They also can be awake in the sunlight for two hours.
Old
Old vampires are considered 1,001-5,000 years old. The old vampires can be exposed to sunlight for up to 30 minutes. Also they do not have to drink blood until twice a month to twice a year.
Ancient
Ancient vampires are more than 5,000 years old. These vampires must drink blood every 100 years. The oldest of these vampires can be exposed to sunlight for several hours.
Vampire Hunting
If you find yourself in the profession of vampire hunting, you must arm yourselves well with the correct equipment.
Stakes: Iron stakes work well, although wooden ones are traditional and preferred. The best type to use are hawthorn, ash and oak.
Holy Items: Rosaries, Crucifixes, and Holy Water
Weapons: Various weapons throughout history are known to be used against vampires. Swords, axes, even large knives like Bowie knives can be used to slay a vampire. For a distance shot, bows and crossbows are also good to use if you wish to wound the undead. Many modern hunters use specially made ammunition with various types of firearms instead of crossbows, but the use of bladed weapons are still used quite often.
Mirrors: This is good to use when detecting vampires. If one has a reflection, then at most they are half-breeds, but if they do not, they are vampires and you need to be very careful.
While you are out vampire hunting, the SAFEST time to do so is during the daytime, where most vampires are hiding away from the sunlight. It is also here that they are at their weakest, making them easier to kill. If you face vampires at night, then God save you all. Most commonplace lairs of vampires, or at least, the most common stereotypes of vampire lairs are dark, dank places such as tombs or crypts in a cemetery. However, keep in mind that if you find a vampire lair in the graveyards of the world, please note that the ground must have been tainted as vampires cannot enter sanctified ground, therefore the ground would have been defiled by some great act of evil.
((there are both humans and vampires in this plot so pick a side you can be either hunter or vampire the time setting will be modern day year 2010, in area for the plot will be Paris, the city of love. oh and one misconception even though vampires are dead they dont have to stink as i tend to play a vampire who knows what a shower is lol but i chose modern times as its the easiest to play.))
