Arguing with voices (Wrathsputin and Psych13)

Daphne entered the classroom with a slight skip in her step. She was in a good mood. She met someone who understood her and knew the real her. The part of her that she worked hard to keep secret. She walked to the near back of the classroom only to see the new guy was in her seat she claimed on the first day. She walked confidently to where he was and sat in the seat beside him and turned in her seat to look at him. "This is my seat and everything but, because your new I'll let it go." She said with a teasing voice. She had her name carved onto the desk. Or at least her initials. If he was anyone else she would slap him or curse him out but, he was him. So, she'd let it go. This time.

Marshal almost didn't notice when Daphne sat down, he was so focused on writing down "I am in control" over and over that he was almost in a trance. When she spoke, his head snapped up and into her direction. After she told him it was her seat, he quickly fumbled with his words, trying to apologize. "Oh, gosh, I'm sorry, Daphne, I didn't know" Marshal was stammering with his words, trying to keep Matt back, Mich was sleeping, bored of his game for bow, but Matt was on a rampage through Marshal's thoughts. "Please don't . . ." He said out loud, not realizing he had for a moment trying to speak to Matt. "I-uh, I mean, please don't be mad at me" Marshal said trying to recover that.

Daphne looked at him witch concern in her eyes but she didn't show it. Weakness was something she never showed. Instead she laughed a bit nudging him slightly. "Oi! Calm down Marsh." She said holding up her hands. "Breathe." She said after, teasing in her voice. "It's fine. Don't worry about it." She said with a smirk on her lips. It wasn't that big a deal. Apparently to him it was. Huh. Weird.

Marshal couldn't help but crack a small smile at her not being mad, and her teasing. He definitely thought she was something special, someone who he could see just spending hours with talking about nothing at all, but that was a bad thing. Mich was always present and always looking to crush Marshal. For her sake more than his, it would normally be best to back off, but she also was like him. She was different, maybe she could understand what he was going through

Daphne gave him a smile before turning to the front when the teacher came in. Something about this guy was......different. He was different actually. But, it was a good different and she liked it. A lot. And that may be a bad thing. After all, she had a lot of enemies at this school. And because they wouldn't dare look at her, she doubted they would look over anyone she associated with. She strongly doubted it atcually. Maybe it was better to not talk to him. No, she would protect him. She would. Definetly.

Marshal looked to the front, but he wasn't really paying attention, he was meditating and harnessing his will to lock back Mich and Matt. Mich had fallen unusually silent, but Matt was louder than he had been in a while, wailing like a banshee and flooding vile images into Marshal's mind.

_Marshal could see the razor and all the blood. Cuts all over his body, muscle tissue exposed to the air and so much agony. Desperate for death, Matt tried to slit Marshal's throat, but Marshal fought like a caged animal. He wrenched control from Matt and dialed 911 before blacking out. He came to in the hospital, bandages all over his body covering the 85 stitches he needed. The doctor was astonished he lived after all that blood loss, but he pulled through_

Marshal was containing his pain well, externally showing almost no sign of the struggle taking place in his mind.

If you tried to ask Daphne what happened she would not be able to tell you. One minute he was all calm and normal and next he was trying to slit his throat. She tried to stop him and in the process her right hand was slit open. Both of them were rushed to the hospital and she had 18 stitches in her hand. It sliced her hand and traveled down her wrist. Barely missing a vein. When Daphne was allowed to walk around she walked straight to Marshal's room.

After knocking she walked straight in and gave him a small smile. "Hey new kid." She said, watching hhim carefully for any signs of pain.

(I'm sorry, I didn't clairify, that was a flashback. Matt was trying to break Marshal down by showing him all kind of hobbile thing he'd been through. I'm sorry)
