Oak smiled and said "Well Zentite, I'm sorry for the loss of your Dragonite. From what these three have told me you were very close." Ash cleared his throat "Hey Prof. don't you have something for him." "Pi Pikachu" pikachu smiled at Zentite hoping to become friends with him. Oak smacked himself "Of course. Thank you Ash. Zentite will you follow me please. Gira you two." Gira nodded and followed Oak inside to let Zentite know it was ok.
 
Zentite didn't really like to think about it, but he nodded. "Yes he, and i were very close." Zentite looked to the others unsure, and a little confused something for him. He looked at Pikachu. "Hello there pikachu..." Zentite followed everyone inside. He was a little nervous last time he was in a lab it wasn't a pleasant experience.
 
Oak went to a table and said "Zentite I know you loved your Dragonite. Well before those evil people could do anything Gira here made sure I got this. Its from your Dragonite." Oak held out a poke egg that had been Dragonite's. Gira said "I watched those people take this from your pokemon so i decided to send it to the safest place i knew. That was here with Oak."
 
Zentite's eye's lit up. He looked at the egg. "Dragonite's egg..." He gently took it. It was a piece of dragonite that he was being handed. His expression went from surprised to happy. He smiled widely. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Tears began to roll down his face. "Gira...There is now way i'll ever be able to thank you in all of my life."
 
Gira smirked "There is one thing. Stay with our group, Ok." he smiled as Dia and the others poked their heads in to hear Zen's answer. Kia was hoping he would agree to stay with them.
 
"Yes, of course." He nodded. It was incredible he could feel it though it was small a spark of happiness lit up inside of him. "Professor Oak, Ash thank you." He held the egg in its arms lightly. "Professor if it's not to much more trouble could i trouble you for an incubator, and a back pack so i can carry it, and hatch it?"
 
Professor Oak smiled "Of course Zentite. Here you are." Oak handed him the two things and said smiling "Be sure to take good care of it, will you." Kia smiled and said to her brother Dia "Brother I'm happy he still has something from his dragon."
 
He slid the egg into the incubator, and them both into the bag. He released a happy breath. "Thank you professor. I will treat it like it were my very own." He smiled nodding. He turned to the rest. "I'm not really sure if i'll be a good pokemon so if it's alright. I'd like to count on you all to help me raise it as well."
 
Dia smirked and said "You'll be just fine kid. Don't forget that when an egg hatches the first person it sees it will recognize as mother." Gira smiled "Alright Dialga that's enough. He's had had a long day, I suggest we rest here in town for the night and decide what to do in the morning." Kia blushed "Um Zen-kun if you want you and I could be the eggs mom and dad. Its just an idea so you don't have to say yes."
 
"You really think i'll be ok?" He had actually forgotten that an egg takes to the first person it see's as it's mother. He had never had any of his pokemon lay eggs so it was interesting. He would have to do some research on it. His thoughts were interuppted as Kia began to speak up. "Really Kia, do you know a lot about how to take care of eggs. I mean i know basic things like an incubator, and to keep it safe, but i won't know how to raise it when it hatches. I'm really worried. "
 
Kia smiled and said "Yeah its easy. Its actually a lot like a normal baby. You'll have to give it milk for a while to start off then gradually teach it to eat food. And since your part dragon now it will learn how to survive from watching you."
 
Saying it was a lot like a real baby didn't really help much. He'd barely even held human babies much less a pokemon one. And on top of the normal human stuff a baby should learn. He would have to teach it attacks, and what not. He knew instinctly how to use moves, but not how to teach them." He gently took Kia's hands pleading with his eye's. "You'll help me right? I don't want to fail the egg."
 
Kia smiled softly and said in a very loving voice "Don't worry I'll help with anything I can." she turned to her brother and said "Where to from here?" Dia shrugged and said "Maybe we could travel with Ash."
 
He smiled lightly. He didn't know why, but when she looked at him he felt a little weird. She seemed to pay a little specialized attention, but he was wondering if he was just imagining things, and suffering from wishful thinking.
 
Gira who had already oked it with Ash for them all to travel together for a bit said "Hey Dia I think your sister likes the kid." Kia turned bright red showing it was true but said "Shut up Gira!" she did like him but she did not want it to be obvious until he was use to his new life.
 
Zentite hadn't been paying attention. He was looking over his shoulder at the bag that contained the small dragonite egg. He was wondering if he should give it a name just like he gave it's mother. He then looked up. Kia was bright red, and everyone seemed to be turned toward her. "Did i miss something?" He asked with a clueless look on his face.
 
Dia smirked "Yeah my little sister's got a crush on you kid." Kia screamed turning even reder "I do not. Now cut it out Dia, Gira." She she went outside and hid from them not wanting to be teased.
 
Zentite looked at them confused. "A crush..." He blushed lightly. He wondered if she didn't like him for her to be so adamantly against the idea. "I don't think she liked your joke." Zentite followed her outside. "Excuse me miss Kia...it's ok...i don't think you have a crush on me..." He said. "We should get some rest."
 
He was sure he had just misheard her. If he didn't mishear then she just admitted that she liked him. "Um...Kia...are you saying what i think?" A warm feeling surged through his body, and his antennea stood at attention. "are you saying that you um...like me...?"
 
The silence that passed seemed to last for an eternity. He wanted to say he liked her to or at least he thought he did. "um...I...I...don't know what to say...Kia...you...I...would you really like a guy who had an egg to take care of...?" he asked blushing.
 
He blushed lightly. He still wasn't sure what to say. Kia was the first girl he'd seen since he'd been free, and she accepted him as he was. "Kia...i'm not exactly sure what to do...if anything went wrong...i'd hate to lose you as a friend."
