Andrew hadn't actually slept at all. He heard Rhia's mother with her in her room, so he used that time to shower and change, but after that, he sat down in a chair next to the door and stayed there until he heard her get up. He felt like it was the least he could do for her. When he hears her leaving her room, he walks out to join her as they go downstairs for breakfast. His eyes fall on the bruise. Seeing it made him feel like he let the piece of shit off easy. The kid deserved worse than the slam into the wall that he got.
He's silent throughout breakfast. The bodyguard hardly eats, which is a rare thing for him. Alex is quiet as well, just sipping at his coffee while looking at something on his tablet. He nods at what Rhiannon tells him. "I'm just happy you're okay Rhia." He tells her, looking his daughter in the eyes as he speaks. "I don't want you wandering off like that again though. If Andrew is ever out of sight of you, call out to him, or call his cell right away." He tells her before sitting back. "On that note, I wanted to ask you Mr. Evans, would you be able to train her in some self defense? I know it wasn't in your initial job description, but you'll be compensated for it."
The bodyguard is caught by surprise, and it takes him a second to understand what was just said. Teaching her some basic things wouldn't be difficult, and it could be a big help. Andrew nods. "Of course sir, no that won't be necessary, I mean, it's a part of keeping her safe." He says, trying to think of the polite way to make his statement. "Yes, I think I can do that, as long as she's willing." He manages to tell his employer.
"Good, meanwhile, I'll see about getting you some other forms of protection Rhia, just to be safe." Alex tells his daughter before turning his attention back to his tablet. "Hurry up with breakfast now. I expect you to get all your studying done before any training, and I don't want you idling. You have school tomorrow after all."
