Not Some Stray (Kawaiikitten and me)

"Food." She giggled, teasing him as she flicked her tail. "How about a nice breakfast. Egg, bacon?" She licked her lips at the thought.

He smiled, she didn't seem all that shy to say what she wanted. He was glad she was better. "Alright then," he said to her, going to the kitchen to start making breakfast.

Zak was a little surprised "OH....Yeah alright" he responded, nit knowing if she had ever cooked something, but he wasn't going to say no to her.

"I know humans need cooked food to eat. Normally I would bring a hunt back but I don't think you'd eat that. So, teach me how to make human food." She purred, nuzzling his cheek.

"Alright," he said, going to the fridge to get out the eggs and bacon. "First you need to get out two pans or this. He set them on the stove, putting some cooking grease so nothing stuck to the pan. "Then you turn the stove on," he said showing her just how. "How doyou like your eggs?"

He decided to show her how to make scrambled eggs, he could never get them to not spill over when he tried over easy or sunny side. He put a few strips of acon on one pan, telling her it took longer to cook so to tart them first, he then mixed the egg in a small bowl.

She seemed to be picking things up pretty quickly, watching over the bacon while keeping an eye on how he made the eggs. It didn't look that difficult really.

He poured the mixed ggs into the second pan, being sure to use the spatula to flip them aound so they didn't burn.

"Mmm, that smells lovely." Cream purrs, then poking the bacon with a fork as it sizzled away. "Should I turn these over?"

He was glad she caught on so fast."Yeah turn them over when they start to crinckle like that."

Cream turned them over carefully, looking rather happy with herself as she learned something new and useful. It also meant she could likely feed herself if he went out. She could also cook for him and it gave them time to bond a little more.

Zak smiled as they cooked, once the eggs where done he just waited for the bacon to finish before serving there food on plates. It was an easy meal but it had been fun making it with her.

Once they were done, she transferred the cooked bacon from the pan to the plates and smiled happily at Zak. "This smells delicious~"

He nodded in agreement " Do you want salt or pepper?" he asked her, he truthfully didn't like either on his eggs but he thought he should still ask.

"Ew, not pepper..." She wrinkled her nose. "I'm fine without either." She picked up her plate and walked to the table.

He smiled taking his plate to the table after her. " How does your first meal taste?" he asked waiting for her to try, this was her first cooked meal she helped make he assumed.

She took a bite of bacon and then some scrambled egg. "Mmm, delicious." She purred, looking very happy. "I hope I can help more."

"Sure maybe you should help me cook all the time," he said then she would know how to fix meals and such so if he was gone she wouldn't have to resort to drinking just milk.

"I'd like that a lot." She beamed at him, nibbling her meal and brushing her tail against his leg under the table. "I love being here, Zak. With you." She added softly.

He felt her tail brushing up against him, knowing she was being playful it did send a small tingle up his leg though. " I like having you hear Cream," he smiled not really eating so much, her tail was distracting him from it.

She nodded and let him eat his meal as she enjoyed hers. Once done, she leaned back in her chair. "I should probably take a bath." She mused, more to herself.

"Like wise," he said as he took the plates to clean them in the sink. Zak pondered what next she should learn to cook, his mind still slightly on that.
