In a separate part of the ship, several of the scientists watched with a certain measure of glee as their newest test squirmed beneath the creature's touch. As her body finally gave out, a hint of disappointment crossed their alien faces.
"...I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Humans have always been fragile." Muttered one, scaled arms crossed as a faint sigh slipped out of his lips. "Inform the staff to bring her to the Exam Room #13. Strap her down and have one of the nurturers watch over her until it's time for her to give birth." A small smile fell upon his lips, "Going off what's already been shown with our other subjects, it shouldn't take long for that to happen.
