Only criticism I can give is to tell you that I fucking DESPISE video LPs, and find the screenshot and commentary format infinitely easier to consume and less obnoxious.

Whether you like them or not does not bother me one bit, and this isn't really considered criticism since you didn't say anything constructive that would help me or others that struggle to get viewers on youtube.

I am a gamer, but I don't watch LP videos either unless I truly have been stuck at something for ages. However, I hope you well on your LP ventures. ^.~

@Trygon: It's not exactly a LP if it's screenshots and commentary, it's more of a guide that way.
@Cydra: For now I'm playing older games that are less popular, big titles will be coming as soon as I can get better quality out of them.

.. I have to agree with Starkweather on those points, Also. I just hit that subscribe button, I rather enjoyed the Far Cry 3 Video's, an i'll be looking forward to seeing South Park: The Stick of Truth. It looks rather.. Hilariously.. Interesting.

Thanks for the input guys, it's really appreciated, and I'm really happy to know that I'm actually doing well! I'll have more Far Cry 3 coming up, but first, I want to finish off South Park. And let's not keep you guys waiting!

While I understand the appeal of LP videos, I've never really got into them myself. When I watch gameplay videos on youtube, it's generally only done for two reasons. First, is I'm researching a game that's piqued my interest. I come across a game that looks interesting and I'll look into it by reading reviews and watching gameplay videos. In that regard, I find the commentary a tad distracting.

Second, are game movies. Which is when someone takes all the cutscenes from a game and edits it with gameplay to make it look like an actual movie. Even then, I've just gotten into doing that to catch myself up on recent games, since I'm still lagging quite behind in what systems I'm playing.

On the flip side, I have been debating getting into LP's, but the few I have seen had commentary where the player basically just acted like an immature five year old with the stuff they said.

And on a semi related note......How is Stick of Truth? My computer most certainly can't run it, but my cousins easily can and he's a HUGE South Park fan and plans to get the game in the next day or two. I'm a SP fan myself and the game looks like it's really damn fun.

The gameplay itself is a lot of walking around (so far) and the actual fighting mechanics are quite interesting. I'd play it multiple times over and over again, just to see what sort of different stuff there is. There's so much little stuff mixed into the game though, all the little references from the actual show, all the little poop jokes they always make. Personally, I'm a fan of South Park, and I have a slightly biased opinion, but even if I wasn't, I'd give this game a solid 8/10 at the bare minimum. It's funny, it's enjoyable as an RPG game, and it's as if you're in the South Park show itself!

My suggestion would be either wait to buy it until you've seen more, or if you can't wait at all, just buy it right now and get it over with. Well worth 60 bucks in my opinion.

I have no intention to buy it as I have no way to play it. But, I hang out at my cousins alot and with him getting it very soon, I'll just play it when I'm over there.

And yea, last time I was over there, we watched some parts of video walkthroughs for it and it looks like an awesome game. For a South Park fan at least. Obviously not something I'd expect anyone to enjoy if they have no clue what South Park is and just bought the game cause it's popular.

The only complaint I've seen so far is the length, as it's apparently on the short side. Something like 8-10 hours just playing through. A bit more if you do everything. But, I expected that since I knew they weren't gonna make it some 50 hour JRPG-esque thing.

Which class did you pick? Haven't seen much detailed info on the classes. Just know that the Jew apparently centers around getting stronger as you lose HP and the Thief is apparently overpowered with how good DOT skills are in the game.

I have no clue of how long the game really is, but 8-10 hours seems the norm these days.

As for the classes, I've picked a fighter, and I know nothing else about the game other than the DOT skills being insanely strong. Bleed stacks up to five times, and lasts a longgggg time. It's balanced though with party member skills and items.

Yea, that seems to be what people are saying. 10 hours or so just to go through the story. A few hours more if you do all the optinal stuff, such as collecting all the Chinpokomon.

While I still very much want to play this, I'm a bit dissapointed that there's no New game+ and instead, once you beat it, you just load the save where you were and keep at it that way. But, not that big of a deal since the game isn't THAT long, and apparently, is rather easy.

Even then, once my cousin gets it, I fully intend to play through as each class at least once. And if the game is as fun as it looks, likely play through even more than that.
