She Thought Wrong (P) [Ladydark/Half-Demon]

"I thought you knew everything about me.." She stated in a soft, but sharp voice as she picked at her food. Fear the first day, depression the second day, and it looked like anger and irritation would be her mood for the day.

"I said I knew most about you..." He continues to eat slowly, soon setting his plate down as he finishes eating. "So... do you have one..."

"Card games, board games, video games.. It doesn't really matter.." She answered quietly as she slowly finished her food.

"Alright..." He waves his hand "Cards it is..." He macias in a deck of cards. "What shall we play..."

"Hmmm... How about we make a bet... Winner gets one request... Not including requests to leave..." He added as he saw her thinking about it. "Do we have a deal?" He shuffles the cards.

Her ruby eyes flicked up at him in a glare. "No deal." She wasn't about to make the mistake of making such a bet.

"Fine fine... Just trying to make things fun..." He puts his hands up in surrender. "Alright... What shall we play... He smiles.

He nods "Alright... War it is..." He smiles and for the next hour the play war, coming down to a tie.

Natalia was surprisingly competitive, wanting to start over after their tie. She disliked losing, and decided that if he would prefer a new game, she'd insist on Spit, or Speed.

He smirks at her "Fancy another round..." He shuffles the cards agains and nods at her game choice. He deals the cards again "Shall we up the stakes with that bet now..." So she liked competition, he could see how worked up the card game got her, he was hoping she'd take the bait.

"Nope," She stated, shaking her head. She wasn't going to bet anything unless she was confident that she was playing at her best abilities.

"Alright..." He continues to play the game, even allowing her to win the first few hands, then he smirks as he finally wins the game. "I'll leave the cards with you Sweety... I need to go make dinner... Poached salmon and rice..." He leaves her the cards and takes the dishes out, he frowns once outside the door, she was getting too mouthy again, he would be giving her another session tonight. He cleaned up and started on dinner, setting that to cook he started on a little dessert for them, hers with a mild sedative mixed in, she wasn't going to tied up willingly.

Natalia disliked that she had lost, but rather than throw a fit over it, she sat down and began to play the single version of Speed, mentally scolding herself to react faster.

He sets the small orange chocolate cakes to cook in the oven as he continues to clean the rice and get it started. About an hour later everything was ready, he kept the cakes hidden under a cover and brought everything into the room. "Dinner... So, did you win or lose..." He noticed her still suing the card game as he set everything down and dished hers out and hands her the plate and a glass of juice.

Natalia looked up as the door opened and he walked in carrying the food. "It's impossible to lose to yourself in this game. It's not solitaire after all," She stated with a shrug. She cleaned up the cards and handed them to him, deciding that was enough for now. Again, she muttered her thanks for the food and slowly began to eat it. The salmon tasted amazing.

He smiles "I made a little something for after dinner..." He picks up his own plate and starts to eat, adding a little soy sauce to his rice. "I hope you like chocolate... I made orange chocolate cake..." He smiles and starts eating.

Natalia perked up a bit as he mentioned the dessert, and smiled a bit. "Thank you," She said, tilting her head a bit. She then returned her attention to her food.

They are in silence tonight and once done with dinner he takes the dishes and hands her a plate with her own mini cake on it, the same as his own. "Enjoy..." He starts to eat "Mmm"

Natalia thanked him once again and began eating the cake. She loved the mix of chocolate and orange, and it wasn't long before she finished her little cake.

"Well... Looks like you did enjoy it... I'll have to make it again sometime..." He was only finished half of his and set her plate aside while her finished his.

"Why not tell me some of your favourite foods... And I'll make them..." He was eating slowly so he'd be there when she fell asleep. "I'd like to make food you'd enjoy..."

Natalia was slightly surprised that she was already feeling drowsy. "You've already figured out that I love anything with oranges..." She began, trying to keep her mind focused. "Ginger soup is good too... Almonds are a favorite snack... I... I don't like squash... Or asparagus..." She was slowly falling asleep as she spoke. She managed to mention that she loved dark chocolate before her eyes closed and she slowly slumped into a ball, sound asleep.
