"Wow, beautiful." She smiled adn tehn sat down on teh rock. She pulled off her shoes and then looked at him and smiled. "You don't mind if I bathe?" She looked at him. "Is it safe?" She filled her cantine. She then began to unbutton her shirt, seeing what he would do when she teased him. She smiled adn then flicked back her head and began to unbutton her pants.

"There are no crocodiles here. The lack of murky water and thick mud makes them uneasy and near impossible for them to hunt in the springs. They avoid them whenever possible." It was the only real threat the lion could think of as he sat down at the bank, taking a moment to look into the shimmering water before he noticed that the woman was taking off her clothes. "I will protect you from anything else." Dem's eyes traced over Gabby, interested in studying what a humans real body looked like under all those clothes.

"Good." She smiled and then looked at him. She pulled off her clothes and waded out naked and began to bathe. She was not extroardinary. She was curvy and pale. She kept on her hat. She bathed and then stepped out of the spring and smiled. SHe laid on her back being dried by the African sun. She pulled her hat over her face and sighed softly stretching out.

While Dem may have picked up the human out of desperation, her body was rather attractive and her personality was so very alien compared to the few lionesses he had known. In fact he was beginning to think she was far more interesting, or perhaps it was just the allure of something new and exotic. With a growl he laid down near the woman "The wilds seem to suit you." he stated calmly, impressed with how well she was faring when taken from her native lands.

"Thats because, dear lion, I am myself wild." She smiled and then looked at him and raised her hat up and canted her head looking at him. "Or were you told taht all humans are soft squishy creatures that just collapse at the first sign of rain." She smiled and blew a kiss at him and then laid back putting her hat back in place and sighed softly in relaxation.

"That and somehow you call down lightning. There are many myths about your people." In fact considering all the strange stories Dem began to think he might have been a little crazy when he decided to steal away such an unknown like a human. The lion was just sick of being all on his own and Gabby seemed to be rather good company once he just accepted that she was not going to be a real active member of his new tribe.

"Call down lightning?" She looked at him and raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Well I have never called down lightning." She smiled adn leaned up and then got dressed once dry and then looked at him and looked around and began to walk around. It was cooling off and soon it would be dark. The hyenas would come out and poach soon. She looked around putting her hands on her hips and thought.

"I wouldn't know. Our myths vary greatly between saying humans are the most dangerous creatures and that they are the most helpless." Slowly he pushed himself up onto his feet and then offered the woman a hand "Are you ready to return to our territory?" he wanted to get back before the sun was completely gone, the night was the favorite hunting time of almost all African predators and Dem did not want a fight on his hands if he could avoid it.

"Yea, I guess." She smiled adn then took his hand and got up and smiled. "There is truth in all myths, wouldn't you say?" She smiled adn tehn walked with him and sighed softly. She walked with him and leaned her head against his arm and smiled and thought about him. "Your fur is soft, how does it stay soft?" She rubbed his arm a bit and smiled wider.

Smiling Dem answered her "Grooming mostly." he wasn't sure what she thought he did to his fur but like every other feline he licked it into place. He almost offered to groom her when he remembered that humans have different bonding rituals and she was a bit handicapped since she lacked the needed fur. So instead the big cat didn't push the subject as he guided Gabby back to their den, only feeling safe once they had slipped inside the thicket.

When they got to the thicket she smiled adn looked at him leaning up. "That was a nice date. I enjoyed myself, and you were a gentle....lion." She smiled and kissed his cheek and moved to where she was before and began to take off her sachel adn cantine and laid back and groaned looking at her booted feet and then to him and smiled.

Wincing a bit at the woman's words since 'gentle' wasn't really a compliment for lions, let alone male lions, Dem wasn't sure how to take it as he laid down beside Gabby. "You were fun company..." He stated after a while, struggling to think up what might be a good response, but he had a feeling it would be enough for the moment.

"I am happy I was." She smiled adn then saw his wince. "Fine, what is a compliment for lions. For human men, a gentleman is a most complimentary adjective." She smiled and kissed his lips and blushed not sure what had come over her.

"Strong, brave...handsome is a good standby, we lions are very vain." He just barely managed to set her straight before the human kissed him, it was a very strange sensation that burned through his body as Dem watched Gabby's skin change color when the kiss was over with. Kissing was not unknown to him, but it wasn't terribly popular with lions for one reason or another, Dem kept that to himself as he shot the little woman a smile. "So...you aren't opposed to staying with me, you just want to be in control. Is that right?" He was teasing her in part, but the cat still wanted to find the root of the human's desires and then work on getting it to grow for him.

"Ohh really?" She laughed and looked at him adn giggled softly. She smiled and shrugged. "No, not entirely." She smiled adn then stroked his mane and then looked at him and then laughed. "I just like being independent." She sighed adn stroked his arms and looked him over and sat back adn shrugged. She watched him and then pulled her legs up tighter to her chest and chuckled.

"Well...you could say you are being independent from all your kind by living here with me." She seemed a bit nervous about something, he figured it had to do with her attraction to him that Gabby seemed to be trying to ignore. Slowly he placed a large hand on her shoulder, he didn't make any moves to pull her closer or caress the little woman, he just let her know that he was there.

Shaking his head a little, Dem settled into a long night awake since lions were most active in the night. He manged to finally fall asleep half way through the night, wanting to have some energy when Gabby woke up and of course wanted him to find her something to eat.

Waking up early the next morning, Dem found himself alone and his captive missing, snapping away he pushed himself up and grabbed his spear that was resting on the side of the thicket. Thinking she had run off the lion sniffed the air and began to track Gabby, quickly moving through the grass as he began to hunt the woman down.

The lion came to a near crashing halt when he saw the human just standing out by a tree, picking some fruit as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Of course the fruit held no value to Dem or any lion and it seemed a bit strange to him that humans would eat it. In any case he slowly stalked over to her "You should be careful. I can't protect you if you always wander off like this." he tried not to sound angry, but Dem only succeeded in sounding annoyed.
