Kristopher took several deep breaths to calm himself, shivering a bit from the cold night as he clutched his trembling hands together over his chest. Trying to dampen the loud thudding beat of his own heart. Tonight would be the night, tonight he’d finally experience sex for the first time and finally be freed from the taunting of his friends who constantly reminded him how he’d never get a girlfriend. At first Kristopher had been laughing it off as a joke, but the jokes had gotten crude and hurtful lately, and it was a known fact that while Kris could befriend most girls in the school, not a single one of them would be interested in dating him.
“At least a kiss” he whispered to himself, trying to take his mind off the daunting challenge he’d experience. He’d been standing alone under the lamplight for half an hour now. Arriving early, only to consider chickening out every half minute. Every time he’d remind himself that he’d risked using his father’s bank card, and already paid the full sum of money upfront. Bailing out now was out of the question, the ad he’d chosen had promised to be discreet about the transaction, so Kris wasn’t too worried about his parents finding out. And just to make sure no one else would notice him, he’d even stolen his sister’s clothes and dressed himself up to look completely different to his usual self.
Shuffling his feet a bit in anticipation, a quick glance over at the huge clock on the other side of the street indicated he’d only have to wait five more minutes. Five more minutes before he’d finally meet ‘him.’
Blocking out the sound of drunken laughter from the pub behind him, emerald green eyes scanned for what felt like the hundredth time. His hopeful eyes accidentally meeting the eyes of a middle aged man that raised an eyebrow suspiciously at him. Only 5’2” tall, and slim for a guy his age he stood out pretty bluntly in the street occupied by much older men. If he stayed much longer someone would probably start questioning him… possibly even call an officer over to question him. And then his entire night would be ruined. He’d get in trouble with the police, his parents would yell at him, his sister would never talk to him again, and his friends would never let go of what had happened tonight.
“Come on… please” he begged quietly, glancing over at the clock once more with a desperate look, despairing over the fact that it’d only been ten seconds since he’d last checked.
