Now that was an odd thing to call the moon. But she was right, it was bright and full. He too put his glass down on the table and joined her by the window. It was a wonderfully clear night. The stars twinkled brilliantly like a thousand diamonds carelessly strewn across the velvety expanse. It was a beautiful night... and given another place and another time, he supposed it would be perfect for hunting. As it was, the city below was alive with hunters of a different kind. Those that sought the myriad pleasures the city's night life had to offer.
He didn't speak immediately, content to enjoy the silence and her company. And when he finally spoke it was barely a whisper, "She is beautiful isn't she?"
Even he wasn't sure if all he was referring to was the city. After a while, he realized she was mesmerized by the sight and to bring her back to the present he asked casually, "So.. you done with work?" He noticed all the papers and files still strewn about the floor and with a nod to indicate what he meant he asked, "Need any help with all that?"
