She was hurt by being called sloppy, but her mistake was the cause of her statement. "You know what you don't have to rub it in my face you know! I feel bad and you reminding me of my failure is not helping considering that yes I might have said it to soon but I was really attracted to you not just because our common likes, but as a person as well... Someone I can be with" She calms herself and sighs, "Clearly it was a mistake trying to ask you to be friends so I could regain your trust." She says as she hit the call end button, she typed 308 WEST 78TH STREET her address and then wrote, "If you ever stop by New York" She sent . She called the air lines and told them about her change of flight and they told her that about the fee's and she paid on the spot. She took her time and gathered all her things and when she had everything packed, she went down stairs and paid. She rolled her things outside and then hailed a cab. She got in and told him to head to the airport as she did, she figured that she was leaving her pets in capable hands. Maybe she was doing it so she would give Samantha a reason to visit her, but she was not sure herself, she felt unwanted so she figured that it was best if she just left. She got to the airport and two hours later she was on her way home.
Three hours and ten minutes later
She walks out of her flight and grabbed her things and when she got out a friend was waiting. " So how did it go?" HE asks. She looks at Roger and told him that she was not in the mood, for the whole hour trip, it was an hour trip with traffic. She got home and she thanked him for driving her home. She walked into her four story town house and she groans and heads to bed. She twisted and turned as she sleep not being able to sleep well and she woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. She sighs, "Was the pain of losing her that much?" She asked herself. She tried going to bed, but it was no use. She turned on the light next to her bed and then opens the book that was signed by Samantha. She opens it and starts to read it. She fell asleep an hour later
Three months later
Well it seemed to Jayden that Samantha's words were true and there was not a day that went by where she did not think about that one person that mattered the most. Her torture for what she had done were cold sweats during the night and how she got work done without much sleep was short of a miracle. She was at work and just wanted the day to end and when it was time to clock out she figured that she would work from home, that was the perks of being a software programmer.
He made the drive home and when she got back home. She went to the kitchen and uncorked a bottle of wine and she poured herself some and drank. She looked around and sighed, by this point she had hoped to have Samantha with her, but she knew that was a dashed dream
