What should they do? She hadn't thought that far ahead. They couldn't deal with them all on their own. There was no way. But if they left to alert someone, the orcs could raid a village and Tavian would never forgive herself if that were to happen.

She needed time to think and stood there quietly with Rowan as she considered their options. Finally, she took a deep breath and looked up at him. "We're going to have to follow them for now. If we see that they're headed for a town or village then we ride ahead to warn people." It may not have been the perfect solution, but it was the only one she could come up with under the circumstances. "We just have to be careful...and quiet", she said softly.

He heard her words and nodded in agreement. There was no better solution. They had to stay alive to fulfill their mission in Keradain, but as cadets of the Order they had a duty to protect the defenseless.

"We must wait until they ride again. When they do we have to follow at a safe distance. You wouldn't happen to know how to cast the Invisibility spell would you?" he asked her
