Reviving The Bride ( valkeryiefirestorm & Jugger82)

"Why would I be joking about this? How else would I know about you? Verona...You are my bride. You are a vampire like myself...You were lost to me a long time ago but I now have you back." He grinned. "You may not see it...but I love it when your eyes turn that icey blue whenever you grow angry or cautious...It really got me going...And it still does..." He grinned and got down on a knee and looked her in the eyes. "If you don't believe me...then allow me to show you what my true form looks like. But I must warn you...It may be...frightening to someone who has forgotten their vampiric blood."

She looked at him "how long?..." she seemed to come to a term with it "how long have I been supposedly gone?" she asked him. She honestly did not know what to say about it al, she was fearful still. She tried to stand up again but failed. "I want to see.. to see the from of a vampire, then one that claims to be my husband"

"Nearly...Two hundred years." He replied. "I lost you sometime in the 1800s...It was too long ago to remember the exact date, but its easy to remember the century." Upon hearing the girl's request, a grin formed on his face. His fangs would finally be noticeable, and they were long and sharp, eyes turning yellow with red pupils, a hint of green outlining the pupils. Nathan's back began to bulge out, before suddenly it popped open, blood gushing behind him as featherless and skinless wings formed behind him. It was only the skeletal structure, nothing else. His body began to enlarge to about another quarter of his total height and his body became muscular, skin turning grey. His fangs grew out longer, to the point where they pointed out of his mouth when it was closed and his hair grew longer and became the darkest of black. He was a horror. "And this...is my true form."

She gasped and tried to stand up again and landed on her ass, she crawled backwards a bit seeing his form. Her eyes where wide with fear, fear like the first time he had showed his true form to her. Her bottom lip she bit down on it to keep from screaming in fear, she did not know but she had bit her lip so hard that it began to bleed a bit. Her eyes changed drastically from the Icey blue to a emerald green as fear laced her face.

And within moments, he would return to his human form again, though his clothes would be no more. He was standing before her, naked now with shreds of clothes on him that barely covered anything. He approached her, and took her in his arms. "You were scared the first time too...I used this form to protect you from hunters sent by the Hellsing family..." He grinned and cupped her chin gently. "I protected you and you called me a monster...But I know that humans naturally fear what they cannot defeat..."

She looked away from him her chin getting out of his grip. She bit her bottom lip still "hellsing? hunters...god it sounds like a nightmare" she said out loud. Her breath was shaky as her hands wrapped around herself, she dared not to look at him for the state he was in. She did though look at him at the sight of the blood "you... um should get that looked at" she said to him

"What? This blood?" He shook his head. "It is merely sauce. We do not require our own blood...We cannot bleed out. But we cannot feast on our own blood either. It must come from one another or a human..." He grinned and held his hand out toward her. "Come...Join me and I will teach you the history between the two of us...The history you have apparently forgotten in your absence from me."

She looked at him as her hands shook, "alright I will learn but that's it" she said to him as she placed her left hand into his and stood up. Her eyes turn to the hazel again as she still bit her bottom lip, looking at him wearily. 'what the hell are you doing Verona?' she thought to herself as she saw herself place her hand in his.

He grinned and bowed to her. "I am thankful that you are here now...But I must ask you. What do you wish to learn? Is there anything in particular that you would want to learn of our past? If I were to explain it all at once, it would take many hours and I am certain that you do not have a lot of time...Yes?"

"Actually time for me is nothing ..you said something about mirrors about not seeing a reflection, is this a trait? from the blood?" she asked him her arms still wrapped around herself as she looked at him. "How long have you known me?"

"Many of what humans portray us as in movies and films is true..." He held moved over and picked up a mirror and looked into it, seeing nothing other than the background behind him. "And a lot of it is also bullshit!" He roared out, tossing the mirror as hard as he could to the ground. He turned to look at her. "The dead do not deserve a reflection for we have already used our extra life, have we not?" He reached down to pick up a shard of the mirror and held it out for her to see...and to see nothing but her clothes if she would look into it. "This is a trait all vampires share...As for how long I have known you..." He tossed the mirror piece back into the pile of glass that it was once at. "I've known you since the 1800s of course. Though, you did not become a vampire at first...No...I watched you from a distance and soon made myself apparent to you for the first time, hoping to get your approval...But it was at the same time Hellsing's men came after me, and I turned into the beast you saw before...and you ran off. I gave chase...But that only led you to your death as a silver bullet that was meant for me, missed and went straight into you...And luckily, through you. If it had not, I would not have been able to turn you into my kind for you would have burned to ash immediately upon turning if the bullet was inside."

She jumped a bit as he threw the mirror and yelled, she watched as it shattered "I know I have no reflection I see it many times when I try to look into it." she said looking away from the shard. She listened to what he said about the bullet. Her left hand went up and touched the small scar on her chest right where her heart was. She looked at him "so you gave me a new life a new chance of so called being" she said, she closed her eyes and breathed deeply and exhaled through her nose.

"I do not hold that against you at all. I did not force you to be with me, despite me saving your life. I did it out of guilt." He frowned and crossed his arms. "I may be cold and dead, and despite what the media has said about Dracula through movies and games through the years...I do have a conscious. It was my fault you died, so I made it right the only way I could...by rebirthing you."

She nodded "so I was reborn a vampire, if it is true and I was with you why did I leave then?' she asked him wanting to know, wanting to know her past, there history. "I want to know everything, where di I originally come from, our supposed history" she said to him curiosity was getting ahold of her.

"I do not know where you originally came from, but I can tell you this...I met you here, in 19th century London." He smiled warmly at her. "You came with me...Because you knew you were alone now. Your family wouldn't be able to accept you and you were at risk of being hunted down...You were in danger and I took you in as my wife. It was not immediate but we soon fell in love with one another...But then at the early 20th century...I lost you. I do not know how...But...You were gone. I awoke one morning and you were simply, gone...No word or anything. I had thought you were kidnapped, so I sent hunters far and wide but you were nowhere to be found...So I assumed you dead..."

She nodded "So three centuries? I have been like this and was with you for two" she seemed to think this over as she said this "I remember something I remember leaving a palace of sorts clutching this" she said as she unclasped the necklace from around her neck "I remember feeling anger, pain and sadness almost like I was leaving someone, someone I cared for" she said to him and held out the necklace for him to see it. "Every time I touch it seems to come alive the ruby does like its liquid instead of a gem solid."

"Ah...This is...Emergency blood..." He replied and took the Ruby out of her hand. "We vampire...our fangs are sharp enough to shatter gems...And this ruby is filled with the blood of Cain, the original vampire." He smiled and handed it back to her. "If you were ever going to die...Be it from a wooden stake or you about to be shot or stabbed with something made of silver...I gave this to you to bite into, so that you become a vampire far powerful than myself for a limited amount of time. It will protect you from everything...Sunlight, the church, silver, fire...You'll become unkillable until your body gives up the power and passes through your system. It is a one time only thing and it is one of the last vials of Cain's blood left."

She placed the necklace around her neck again "Cain? " she raised a eyebrow "then why do legends and book say you are the original vampire, Dracula was murdered by "The Left Hand of God", but not before making a Faustian Bargain, which gave him new life as a vampire, A vow was made to kill you but your own father could not so he banished you to a fortress and that's where the devil gave you wings to escape."

"It is as I said, my dear...A lot of human's mythology on us is complete...and utter...Bullshit." He frowned. "I was a made punished for my sins. Cain was the true first vampire. His blood runs through all of us...I am merely one of the more powerful vampires that ever lived. Though..." He grinned and looked at her with a eyes of mystery. "Some folklore state that Cain and Dracula are the same person...Dracula being the new name he was given after being cursed by God...Are we though?" He left her with that to let her ponder.

She nodded "what else can you tell me for I want to know" she said to him as her eyes still layed upon him, her arms still wrapped around herself. As she shfted her weight on her other foot. "what myths are true and which ones are false"

"Hm...That is for you to see. I do not know everything the media portrays us as, for I am not capable of keeping up with every little vampire flick or story that spreads around." He thought for a bit. "Well...We've adapted over time but it seemed recent media has yet to discover this. We do not die in the sun...our bodies have changed. We do die in a church, however...God is very real, or at least some form of god...be it the way the church describes or some ancient culture like the Greeks or Romans." He shrugged. "The whole Garlic bit is complete bullshit...Though I think it is because of me that the rumor spread around, for I am allergic to Garlic and will sneeze violently. I guess humans thought it hurt me because of my reaction." He shrugged. "Holy crosses do not work against us, for a cross is not a true sign of whatever god watches over this world. It is merely a human's insignia for their god."

She nodded "and the blood drinking? is it true?" she asked she shook a bit as she realized the door was still open the hole entire time and she felt a cold breeze on her back. She wrapped her arms tightened around herself more, shivering a bit. She looked at him her hazel eyes turning a hint of red.

He noticed this as well, and walked over to close the door. "Yes. I already explained to you that we need blood from other sources to survive. Though it does not have to be human or animal...we can get blood from one another as well to survive but eventually we'd have to feast on human blood to completely replenish ourselves. Think of it like this...If one vampire gives another vampire their blood for substance, the other vampire will slowly digest it and that blood will be no more...So the vampire being fed off of must replenish themselves by feasting on animals or humans. Though nowadays we hunt animals to prevent humans from uprising against us in our...time of weakness."

She nodded "I understand that, so um where does it go from here?" she asked curiously not really knowing what to say to him. Her arms dropped from herself as he shut the door, her eyes followed him as he walked.

"Well...You take my place as my wife once more. Is that not obvious?" He grinned. "It has been such a long time since I saw you..." He walked over and took her hands into his own, and began to look her in the eyes. "I love you....And I want to share another night with you after so long..." His eyes would hypnotize. It attempted to anyway, trying to convince her that she wanted to sleep with him and share the bed with him that night. "Strip down...Lets head into the bathroom so that we can become better acquainted once more, my dear..."
