A learning experience (AmyBeth&myself)

Olivia was beeming as she watched her mother, it was like she was born to be on stage and cheered at. When her father called her name from stage she jumped a little but quickly recovered before entering the stage from where her mother had moments before. She was met with an equally loud roar from the crowd as her mother had gotten. She waved tentatively to the crowed and smiled big, looking to the side noticing that it was her pretty face and curvy body on the jumbo screens around the stadium.

With her fathers arm wrapped securely around her waist she felt less nervous and more secure on stage in front of thousands. Olivia blushed as her father instigated the hollering of the crowd. Olivia openly stared at her father on stage as he spoke so protectively. He sounded just how she had imagined he would, she had always wanted a daddy to protect her in ways a mother really cant. But as her father reminded her and the crowd of the duet she turned back to the crowd. "Um lets get right to the music, thats what we are all here for right?" She asked both er father and the crowd. More then anything she just didn't want to speak in front of so many people more then she needed too. But Olivia did have good stage presence she was nervous but excited her blood felt like it was on fire and she loved the way the crowd reacted when she smiled at them, or feeling thousands of eyes on her at once, she must have had more of her father in her then she thought.

Stacey smiled as she sat down on the piano watching the interaction between Olivia and Robert with joy she had to admit she had some doubt about how Robert would take the news of having to take on the responsibility of being a father to a sixteen year old girl but from what it looked like Robert had technically hit the ground running and was loving obviously loving the job of being a father because he was acting as if he had known her his entire life. Even going as far as to publicly threaten everybody in the crowd as well as watching at home since this was a pay-per-view concert.

"Alright darling then give me a second and we'll do this song" Robert said putting his bass on the beautiful stand in the middle of the stage and he walked offstage for a moment coming back with a beautiful cherry red acoustic guitar and two black chairs he placed the chairs on the stage and sat down in one before handing Olivia a sheet of paper with the lyrics on them since they were going to do a father and daughter duet together which he knew would probably mean big things for Olivia's future "Alright" Robert said as he moved the microphone stand so where both of them could sing together "I want to introduce this song it's a brand new one that might be on the next CD the song was originally titled my beautiful, my love, my girl...But I have re-wrote it a little bit and the new name of the song is daddy's little princess" he said smiling over at Olivia "And I can happily inform you that my daughter and I will be singing this together." He began playing the acoustic guitar since his part started the song and he began singing as he looked at Olivia knowing her part came up next.

She followed her fathers lead and took the paper and sat in one of the chairs he had brought her. As he played and sang Olivia almost got so lost in the moment and the wound of his voice she almost forgot to start. But his eyes cued her and she quickly caught herself before she missed her enterance. She sang in a bright clear beautiful ringing voice, it was sweet and soothing but had some body to it. She followed his lead and sang along with him, she even added some Harmonies to the melody when they sang together. The sondg was beautiful and meaningful and brought a slight tear to her eyes. As they sang lighters came out and swayed back and forth filling the stadium with floating swaying twinkling lights, it was one of the most beutiufl moments of her life and she would never forget it; her new found father and her beautiful mother smiling on stage, all of them together happy. It was a memory she would cherish especially when she did loose her mother. She was surprisingly not nervous at all because she didn't even look at the crowd, her body faced them but her eyes were on her father.

As the song ended the crowd erupted in cheers and hooting and Olivia leaned in an gave her father a kiss on the cheek. She looked over to her mother and smiled, happy she hadn't messed up too badly and had gotten through the song without ruining her fathers beuatiufl songwriting. She was alot less nervous then she thought she would have been and loved the rush the crowd gave her when they cheered her on.

Robert smiled as he felt Olivia give him a kiss on the cheek and he pulled her to him lightly and said "Thank you for singing with your dear old father give her another round of applause please" Robert said smiling as the crowd went crazy once more he then whispered in Olivia's ear "Don't be surprised if your bombarded with talent agents and record companies that want to sign you because of how well you did but please before you agree to any contract or anything come to me because I know who can help your career and who will try to use to make their wallet's fat" he whispered to Olivia happily. Slowly though Robert moved to the piano and said "Alright we've had many requests to play our most famous song Stacey once again because we haven't played it in a while but this time I am going to sing the song to the actual Stacey" he said happily as he began playing the piano so where it had a beautiful sound and then he began singing to Stacey as he looked into her eyes so where she could know that he truly did love her.

Stacey blushed cutely as Robert began singing the love song to her.

"I don't really think anyone would want me, but if you think so I will make sure I ask you, pops, first." She said with a wink before she waved to the crowd and existed of the same side she entered. She wanted to give her mother and father this moment on stage alone, and did not want to distract from the beautiful music and display of affection that was taking place before her. She had to wipe away a tear as she listned to her father sing sweetly, it made Olivia so happy that her mother could have this moment. She couldn't believe that all these amazing things just happened but that she was loosing her mother as well. She wondered if she would be staying with her father now, going on tour with him...'Probably not, he is too busy...' she thought to her self knowing her father was busy and had important things to do, and having his teenage daughter that he just met tour with him may be strange to him. She was too nervous to ask Robert if she would stay with him when her mom did die, so she decided she should ask her mother later.

As the song ended Olivia hooted and hollared from back stage as the crowd ate them up whooping loudly singing the lyrics loudly even after the song ended. It was a sight to be seen not to mention her mom looked super hot up there, Olivia was proud of her

Stacey was overjoyed and in tears as she heard Robert her first crush, the father of her baby and the man she now knew was her soul mate singing a love song wrote about her to her it was the most beautiful thing she had ever heard. She had witnessed first hand a father and daughter bond beginning to form and she now knew that she could leave this world knowing that her daughter would be completely safe and taken care of. After the song was over she said it loud enough for the microphone to catch her voice "Robert I love you, I always have and be good to my baby girl" and with that her body began shutting down she fell off the piano and because the disease was so advanced even through her fighting her body began to slowly die.

Robert smiled as he leaned up to kiss Stacey after the song as he was pushing the bench backwards to stand he sat that Stacey had fallen off of the piano and he hopped up beginning to check her pulse seeing that it was steadily declining you could tell by his face that he was completely distraught "CALL AN AMBULANCE" he yelled as the tears started flowing down his face "Stay with me Stacey please don't die" he whispered in a voice that could only be made by a man who was losing his true love what he didn't know was that the microphone had caught him saying that "I love you please Stacey" he said now holding her in his lap lightly stroking her back.

The ambulance was there in a matter of minutes and getting Stacey on the stretcher as she was being placed into the ambulance she saw Olivia "Come here darling" she said waiting as Olivia got up on board slowly she placed her hand on Olivia's cheek and smiled "My beautiful baby you have to promise me that you will take care of your father. He's a great man and deserves your love. Plus I know only in each other can you both begin to let the pain of my passing slowly decrease."
