The assassination attempt had been foiled, there must have been a rat inside the camp who gave warning to her plans that night. She cursed to herself, whoever betrayed her was going to pay with their life. For now, she had no choice but to run. She was out numbered and she wasn't about to let herself be captured. Slipping back into the dark forest wasn't hard at all, she knew her way about the night. Besides, the forest was like a second home to her. Her feet were nimble as she ran through the tangle of branches and ivy, but she knew it wouldn't be long till the horsemen caught up to her. She could hear the clatter of hooves behind her and the screams of the horses as they were whipped.
Ylena's eyes scanned the trees, the moon light giving her more than enough to see. 'There..' She thought, her speed increasing momentarily as she clambered up a fallen tree that had come to rest against its brothers. She leapt the gap between the two trees to a branch that gave her a clear view of her perpetrators.
A satisfied smile pulled at her lips as she reached behind her and drew her bow, fitting an arrow with ease and drawing it back. A moment passed before she released, sending the arrow with a hiss through the night. It hit true and the leader of the group grunted as the arrow sliced into his heart, knocking him clear off his horse. The following three horsemen reared their mounts back in shock, but Ylena had already leased another arrow. Another man fell off his horse, not even a grunt coming from him as his lifeless form hit the ground; an arrow protruding from his eye.
The last two guards screamed into the night, daring her to come out and face them. They dropped from their mounts, torches and swords in hand as they tried to scan the canopies. Ylena laughed in pure joy which caused both men to look up sharply, but one didn't raise his blade fast enough. She dropped from the branch she had been perched on, her feet connecting with the soldier below her and a disgusting snap was heard as she dropped him to the ground with her weight, rolling to the side to cushion the blow. Coming out of the roll and onto her feet again she had a dagger drawn, crouched low like a tigress stalking her prey.
"Tell me who the rat is and I'll let you live." Her eyes were alive with passion, if he didn't speak in the next few seconds his throat was slit.
"Fuck you bit-" He never finished his sentence, trailing off in a gurgle as blood filled his throat. Ylena wiped her blade off on her pants, almost seeming disappointed in the nights events.

Some rules I abide by:
1. Please do your best to be at least semi-literate. Spelling mistakes are fine and understandable, it happens to me too, but I am really looking for someone who will fair on the better half of proper grammar and punctuations.
2. I will only RP in third person, past tense, and need my partner to do the same. (Ex. She flashed a coy smile, hoping to catch his attention and draw him closer.)
3. I am pretty open to the story line. I do, however, like to talk a little before hand and get an outline of what we want to do so we both have a good understanding on how we want the story to go forward.
4. I do enjoy pictures. I will almost always have a picture for my character, and would enjoy seeing yours as well. However, it's not a deal breaker if you would prefer to just describe your character. I can do the same as well. I do not use, or like, pictures to describe a place, thing, or event.
5. DETAILS. Details, details, details, details. I don't think I can say that enough. Describing your character and the emotions they are feeling is one of my favorite things and definitely a necessity to good writing.
6. I understand writers block, I get it too. However, I really hate one liners.. I will always strive to give you no less than a paragraph to read, but usually will write 2-5 paragraphs (though I can write many many more if I get caught up in the moment). One liners are difficult to respond to and are boring to read, so I would ask that you extend me the same courtesy.
7. I won't do smut heavy RP's, they run out of pizzazz far too quickly and I am more interested in creating a story instead of a porno. I don't want the entire story to be based on sexual interactions, but I do want it to build to such scenes here and there. It's fun, and satisfying. I probably like the plot and smut to be split around 80-20%, give or take. Here is my F-list for things that I like and things I won't do. Note, I have been getting a lot of requests for father/daughter or mother/son stories but I am not interested in that at all.
8. I prefer to RP through threads. I enjoy the organization, and though I understand some people don't like them for the lack of privacy, I feel it's still the best place to create a story. However, if you are strongly adverse to the threads, I can probably be convinced to use the PM's, I just find they are far too easy to lose and are messy.
9. If I don't like the partnership I will let you know, I don't mean to hurt you or be mean, but I put myself into all my characters and if I am not into the story or the partnership, I won't be giving my best and that's not what I'm here for. Please don't be offended.
10. If you would like to see if we could start a story please PM me with some information about yourself and a sample of your writing. Whether it be a link to a thread of yours or just a sample, I don't care. Being able to read a post from you will help me decide if we could make a good partnership. I have been receiving a lot of PM's without any information or samples, please know I can't make a decision on a partnership without any information. If you would like a response from me, please include something or at least make a reference to this factor.
