I was reading through the main and this topic and going through some very serious brainstorming (for only about 10 min to be fair).
The premise I had in mind was that a villainess (YC) would attempt to make a bog-standard guy (MC) a 'pet' of sorts, but the plan completely falls to bits as he is seemingly immune to her powers (he has no super powers himself, just happens to be resistant to hers for a reason we can flesh out in plot). Because of this, it goes 180 and he dominates her and slowly ruins the reputation this villain, all the while slowly a love forming between them.
Feel free to expand or smash open holes on that idea!
