Are you famaliar with Zenescope comics? When you said dark, and referring to characters' maturity, it doesn't get much more graphic. Granted, that Wonderland is under a much bigger "madness" than Carroll might have imagined, but it may be what you're thinking for Alice in Wonderland role-playing expectations. I dropped that particular series, but I still get their "Grimm Fairy Tales" series. I only dropped it because Alice is the one madder than the hatter. I intend to play her as quite sane against the Queen of Clubs, who is the only definate lesbian.
