Jinx raised an eyebrow in surprise when the little girl called him Master Jinx and he glanced towards Sai. She shrugged at him. "I told her to just call you Jinx, she seems to prefer calling you that, Master" she said with a bow before glancing towards Evander. "Your daughter will not go outside unless she is accompanied by you, me or my Master. She will be safe with us, do not worry" she explained softly before sitting down on the floor and waiting for the little girl to come back to her. The Drake fought back a growl when he was called old, but he sighed and ruffled Sophira's hair with a smile that revealed his razor sharp fangs. "I guess you are right, little one. When you are almost 100, you are kind of old" he said with a slight chuckle before moving her to sit on the bed next to her father. "And of course I'll play with you... But I have a job, so it will not be often" he warned her in a stern voice before once again settling back down on the leather couch, the blue runic markings on his neck glowing slightly. His tail dusted over the ground lazily s his cold blue eyes watched the humans.

Poor little Sai was trying her best to hold back her laughter as she watched the little girl argue with her father about whether he was old or not, shaking her head slightly at the image. "Oh little one, what your father was using is called an expression. He doesn't really mean that he is old, it's basically him saying that he doesn't want to do what he had been told to do. But only adults are allowed to say things like that, alright?" she explained to the small chile, her tail wagging happily as she watched her with her father. She was curious to know what her father thought about the little girl calling her 'Mama Sai', and the Drake 'Master Jinx'. It didn't seem like something a human child should do to an Anthro...
 
Sophira's eyes went wide. "your a HUNDRED!?" she asked, looking utterly stunned and Van turned his head and pressed a hand to his mouth in an effort to keep from laughing. "i didn't know that people could be THAT old!" she admitted with astonishment. "do ALL Anthro live that long!? can human's live that long? i bet you know LOTS of good games and stories!!!" Sophira stated, breathless with excitement before turning to argue with her father. "what's a Job?" she asked, looking confused and Evander smiled as he explained a job was what people did to earn money, like how he dressed up in funny costumes. which was his explanation for the militia suite he had to wear while off duty. "oooh he's GLOWING! how do you glow!? will you teach me to glow!?" she demanded of the Drake before she turned her attention to Sai, looking baffled. "what's an es... es.. es'press'ion?" she asked, stumbling over the long and difficult word. "so he was lying?" she asked, baffled.

"No sweaty. an expression is something that almost everyone uses, to express something... like how Daddy is always saying a Doctor a Day keeps the Doctor Away." Sophira's eyes gleamed at that. "it doesn't actually mean an apple will keep the doctor away... well, it might if you throw it at their heads... but don't throw things at doctors." Van warned, ignoring Sophira's pout at that. "it means that a healthy diet, filled with fruits and vegetables will keep you healthy." Sophira pondered that and then. "so... when you say you're too old for that... it means... that it makes you FEEL old?" she asked and Van snapped his fingers. "yes, very good Sophi darling!" he chirped, grinning at her as she giggled. pleased with herself for understanding as she bounded over to the bed, crawled up to him and hugged him. "Daddy? how come you where hurt?" "i was hurt because the Guards made me do something that i didn't want to do." he explained softly, wondering if the Anthro would hear that, or even care. "they made me go and fight, and i was so tired, that i didn't fight properly. so i got really beat up. but Master Jinx was nice enough to bring me here and help me." Van explained with a smile. "he was even nice enough to send...." here he paused hesitated and then. "Nice enough to send Mama Sai to go and rescue you." so he was a little hesitant about it, but didn't seam to mind...
 
Jinx laughed, clearly amused by her reaction to his age. "Yes little one, I am a hundred. And no, only the Dragons live this long.... Dragons have been known to live well over a thousand yeas of age. Anthros like miss Sai live about as long as humans do, about eighty to ninety years of age" he explained softly, lifting his tail and using the tip of it to ruffle the small girl's hair. "I can tell yu many stories.... Just come to me if you want to hear them." teh Drake heard Evander's words and raised his eyebrow once again, curious to know if he was telling the truth about having not wanted to fight in this war. Thoughts raced through his mind, and he eventually decided to not kill him for a while. Maybe this was one human that actually deserved to live. Sai was going to explain what she had meant to the small girl, but her father beat her to it.

The Drake smiled at the little girl and shook his head. "I am sorry child, but I cannot teach you how to glow. I was not taught per say, I was born with these symbols. It is these symbols that give me my powers" he explained softly to her. Sai moved towards the little girl and picked her up, smiling at her and then her father. "Hey Sophira, didn't you say you had something you wanted to make for Master Jinx?" she asked, tickling the girl softly and holding her against her chest.
 
she looked so very, very impressed by that. "a THOUSAND!.... how much is a thousand?" "a hundred hundreds." her eyes got wide. "wooooow." she breathed. incredibly astonished before she giggled as her hair was ruffled. "that tickles!" she complained with a giggle and a pout. "i wanna hear a story every night! can i? please?" she pleaded, clinging to his knee and jumping up and down. she pouted when she was informed that she couldn't glow and looked at him suspiciously, as if she wasn't sure he really couldn't teach her. she probobly figured he was just greedy and wanted to keep the Glow all to himself, but she didn't say anything, instead she leaped over to Sai. "Yeah! you have to help, okay Mama Sai!?" she demanded eagerly, snuggling into the warm fur and Evander smiled a little as he watched the two leave, looking so sad it almost hurt. "...she's never had an attentive parent before." he finally whispered. "i couldn't be there, and her mother was a bitch who wanted as little to do with her as possible..." he admitted with a sigh as he flopped onto the bed again with a small groan. "she's always got such a high amount of energy though it's almost impossible to keep up with her... she's more extinguishing than a battle..." he groaned.

"...i need a nap." he finally muttered as he looked over at Jinx. "do Dragons really live that long?" he asked, sounding impressed. "i know that some of... 'us'... the experiments... some of us are expected to live for a while, two, maybe three hundred years." he admitted, snorting. "if we aren't all killed first anyway..." he admitted with a small sigh. "so... when i'm not in pain anymore... what am i expected to do? because i gotta tell you right now... i have no idea how to cook, and my cleaning skills are...." he screwed his face up. "not very desirable..." that was to be expected of a soldier though. after all, who needed to know how to cook and clean when you where fighting for your life? "can't sew either..." which was a surprise. most men in the military knew how to sew, so they could piece their uniforms back together. "i'm not all that good at sex either apparently..." he admitted with a small frown. granted, most of his sex was from collage... and with other men. he hadn't been laid since he was forced to join the military and forced to marry the bitch. he was pretty sure she was getting laid though, after all, the Guards living with her where always quite... happy, when he left for another month... she was such a slut. "damn... i really AM useless...." Van muttered, sounding rather surprised. his wife had always said so, but since he was so good at killing things he'd never paid it any mind... how shocking it was to find out that she was RIGHT.
 
Jinx gave a heavy sigh and nodded, smiling at the girl. "Alright then... I can tell you stories every night...... If I am not working." he explained to her in a gentle voice. Sai laughed softly, holding her close to her chest and stroking her hair softly as she walked out of the room. "Of course I can help. Hey, how about you make something for you daddy as well?" she said with a friendly smile, her tail wagging happily as she walked back to her bedroom which she would now be sharing with the cute little human girl. The bed was large enough for the two of them, even a third person if Rei decided to join them at night because of her stalker. She padded over to the cupboard and opened it, her paws light on the ground and making no sound at all as she walked. She took out some crayons and paper, moving over to the desk and placing it down there before she carried Sophira over. "Little one, would you like to know why Master Jinx has those glowing marks?" she asked her softly, sitting on a chair next to her and drawing on one piece of paper.

Jinx glanced over at Evander. "Yes... It's because of our magic we can like that long. You killed my mother mere days before she turned six hundred years of age.... I was only a few years of age, a mere fifty years....." he said, shaking his head sadly before moving onto a lighter topic. "If that is the case, then Sai will be good for her. Sai, as I have said before, is an extremely good mother figure. Let her raise your daughter. She'll do a better job than any humans could...... As for once you are healed completely, I guess I will simply use you for company and sex. I'm sure you aren't as bad as you think you are. I do not need anyone for cooking and cleaning, I already have servants for that." he gave a sigh before moving from the couch to his bed and stretching out there with a content sigh, his wings stretching before folding and his tail curling over the bed, draping over Evander's legs.
 
the little girl beamed in delight and she crawled up into his lap, gave him a peck on the cheek, and skipped away with Mama Sai. "I'm gonna make Daddy a rainbow!" she decided once they where out of earshot... well the little girl thought she was out of earshot anyway. "daddy LOVES Rainbows." she declared happily before she settled into the chair she'd been placed on and paused. "...was he borned with them?" she asked curiously. "My daddy says that we shouldn't judge people accus of how they where borned. like how mommy was borned as a bitch... what's a bitch?" she asked, well aware that she shouldn't have been listening when her daddy had said that, but she had anyway.

there was a long, long pause and then Van sat up, looking at the Dragon like he was some kind of stupid. "...Jinc... you ARE aware that i am only twenty five right? if you're a hundred years old. and i killed your mother when you where fifty... i wouldn't even have been born yet." he pointed out, staring at Jinx like he was an idiot. "or did you not realize how young i really was? i was a year old when you where seventy five you realize?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow at the other. "i won't deny that i killed Dragons. i had to, it was my job. they would have killed Sophira if i hadn't." he admitted with a scowl before he shook his head. "Sai is good for Sophira... but i'm a bit worried that Sophira won't understand why she's different than the rest of the children around here..." he admitted with a sigh. "she's incredibly sensitive..." he admitted as he laid back down and grimaced a little as he was laid next to again. company and sex... he was a pet... he didn't mind the idea so much. at least he'd be getting some sort of physical contact. "i haven't had sex since i was..." he paused to do the math. "eighteen or so." he admitted with a sigh. "i had just enough time to spend a year in collage before the government forced me into the military." he admitted with a shrug. this time, when he was touched, he didn't flinch away. he didn't have the energy... and the tail felt kind of nice laying against his leg like that.
 
Sai smiled softly at her and nodded. "Yes. My master was born with them. But it's only because he is a dragon. Dragons can use magic, which is why he has those marks. If he didn't have them, then he wouldn't be able to use magic..... And he wouldn't be able to do his job either" she explained softly, stroking the girl's hair softly and watching as she drew the gifts for her father and Jinx.

Jinx blinked in surprise before looking at him. "Geez you are young. Either I'm older than I though, or I cannot remember how old I was when it happened. When you've lived this long, human, time begins to form one long line. You lose track of the days, months and years, so don't look at me like I'm an idiot. You would understand if you were as old as me." he grumbled, tempted to kick him but knowing that that would break his still healing bones. "As for Sophira, do not worry about her. Sai will explain everything to her. And explain to her why she is not like the other children around her. She'll make sure that she doesn't get hurt by the others as well" he explained, running his hands over his eyes and muzzle with a yawn. He snickered softly at the time he had spent without sex, shaking his head. "Poor little Evander.... I'll be gentle the first few times.... I promise."
 
Sophira pondered that and then. "so he glows because he is a Dragon with Magic?" she asked curiously, considering that. "what can Magic do?" she asked, looking puzzled, and curious. but not afraid. it made sense that the little girl didn't know about Magic though. Human's had taken to repressing any sort of creativity in children, hoping to keep them away from individuality, and therefore making them afraid, and hateful of anything that wasn't the same as them... thus, Anthro would be hated, feared... and wiped out. "What does Master Jinx do for his job?" the little girl asked as she drew a picture of Jinx flying over a big tree.

he snorted a little. "or more likely i'm older than i think i am... i'm not actually sure how old i was when i was finally released from the program.... or maybe i've got my ages mixed up?" he mused counting on his fingers. "lets see... carry the four... ok no that won't work i failed Math... lets see. i was there for the Anthro Massacre fifteen years ago... i was in high school... i was... mmm..." here he paused again and then. "i don't know. i am between twenty five and thirty five... either way, i would have had to have killed your mother in the last ten years, because i was inducted into the army a year after the massacre. forced to marry a year before the war started. and when the war kicked off ten years ago i was immidiatly put in a Dragon hunting unit." he explained. "granted, back then i hated Anthro... but then, everyone did." he admitted softly. "it wasn't until about five years ago... that i stopped hating Anthro, and started hating myself." he admitted simply before he scowled at the other. "she's my daughter. i have every right to be worried about her." he scoffed before he sighed. "gee thanks." he grumbled at the mention of being gentle the 'first few times'. "you do realize that i AM a human. if your too rough with me, you'll break your toy." he stated with a yawn, settling in for a nap. he was tired... healing took a lot of energy.
 
Sai nodded and smiled softly at her. "Yes, he uses magic. He can carm things and curse things, as well as heal things. Not as well as the healers though" she murmured, watching as she drew the image. Her drawing skills were much like the usual child, very rough and sketchy, but still full of feeling and love. Something everyone would keep for many years to keep as memories. "Master Jinx's Job? I'm afraid I cannot tell you little one. His job is a secret. I'll be able to tell you when you are older though alright?" she promised, kissing her forehead softly.

Jinx sighed. "Yeah whatever, it doesn't matter who is the right one with the age. Chances are I just can't remember" he said, moving his tail up and draping it over his companion's waist instead of his legs. He smirked at him and his final comment. "Don't worry, I promise I'll be gentle anytime we have sex, alright? I am quite fond of you already, so I don't want to break you.... Now little one, you need to rest. I want you to heal soon." he said, gently ruffling his hair before closing his own eyes with a yawn and cuddled a pillow, his tail twitching every now and then.
 
she pondered that and then nodded. "if he can harm things. then he can protect my daddy." she decided. "and then the Guards won't hurt him no more." she decided. "he's always hurt when he comes home." she admitted. "he tries to pretend, but he can't fool me!" she stated, sounding rather upset. "Master Jinx will make my daddy safe." she decided as she drew a massive Rainbow for her poor hurt daddy. she fell asleep drawing pictures of everyone, dozing on the table. smart as she was, she was still only two, and two year olds needed long naps. she drew lots of pictures. one for Mama Sai too, of the wolf and the child snuggling together in front of a fire with a book. it was rough, and poorly drawn, but you could feel the sentiment.

he snorted a little. "we're both probobly wrong." he admitted with another yawn, flinching at the tail suddenly on his waist. "would you quit that!? it scared the shit out of me." he complained with a huff. "do you have to keep touching me? i'm not a dog you know." he complained, sulking rather petulantly, not about to admit that he rather felt safe and... nice. "yeah, fond of me until i bore you i'm sure." he stated with a roll of his eyes. "and my name is Evander... not 'little one', do i look like a child to... don't answer that." he ordered as he closed his eyes with a sigh and slipped off to sleep... only to be woken several hours later by Sophira who was shaking Jinx. "Master Jinx! i made you a pwesent!" she squealed as she crawled up onto the bed and jumped up and down, being careful not to jump on either of the men laying int he bed before she paused, looking confused. "Master Jinx? how come you are asleepin with my Daddy?" she asked, looking utterly baffled. Evander just groaned and buried his head deeper into the pillow, leaving Jinx to defend himself from the tenacious two year old just up from her nap.
 
Sai smiled, nodding at her. "Yes, Master Jinx will protect your dad. Don't worry about it, child..." she whispered. She drew with the little child, noticing only later when she fell asleep. The wolf smiled and picked her up, carrying the small child to the bed and laying her down, wrapping herself around her and placing her tail over the small child like a blanket. She began to doze, only to be woken a short while later by the girl climbing out of the bed. Sai followed her, watching as she woke up Jinx and offered him the drawing before asking questions.

Jinx laughed at the human male. "Whatever, you're warm and this is comfortable. Plus, you belong to me now, remember? If I was heartless as most stores said I was, I would have been doing things to you while your bones were still broken and turning you into a test subject once again." he muttered, before smirking. "You do kind of look like a child to me. But I'll call you Evander from now on if it makes you feel better" he stated before falling asleep. A few hours later he was woken by the little girl jumping on his bed and telling him that she had made him a present. He opened one eye with a smirk and looked at her. When she asked her question, he lunged up playfully and grabbed her, hugging her to his chest and rolling off of the bed so that, when they landed on the wooden floor, she was laying on his chest. "Thank you little Sophira, it is beautiful. As for why I was sleeping with your daddy, it was to make sure no one hurts him. You see, sometimes there are bad people who would sneak in at night to hurt people like your daddy. But I would have woken up and scared them away if they had come in" he said with a smile, the tip of his black scaled tail brushing some hair away from the little girl's eyes.
 
Van snorted a little. "i belong to no one." he scoffed. "besides you are as heartless as the stories say you are. your just pretending to be nice to me so you can corrupt my daughter." but there was amusement in his voice, showing he neither meant it, nor believed it. besides, i'm cute, and i know it. you've wanted to fuck me since you saw me in the fields." he accused with a yawn. "don't try to deny it you pervert. still, at least you have the right equipment." he mumbled before he grinned as he was woken up. Sophira giggled a little as she was grabbed, squealing with Glee as she squirmed and laughed in a false attempt to free herself. "i knew you'd like it! i drawed it real hard!" she admitted, with a sagely nod before beaming at him. "i KNEW you'd protect my daddy! i said so didn't i Mama Sai!?" she demanded of the wolf, looking ever so delighted as Evander yawned and poked his head over the side of the bed, Sophira giggling. "silly daddy! you always take too long to wake up! i'll go find Coffee for Daddy!" she decided, hopping to her feet and leaving to find the kitchen, Evander groaning rather pathetically as he tried to go back to sleep.

he was woken not a minute later by the smell of hot Coffee and something warm and ceramic being forced into his hand and he blinked stupidly at his daughter, who was beaming like she'd won the hardest contest in the world and he blinked at his Coffee, which had a single spoon of sugar in it... just the way he liked it. "thank you Sophira." he slurred before gulping down the hot coffee... seemingly unaware that most people would have been screaming about burnt tongues and throats. he looked much more awake after that. "i drawed you a picture Daddy!" she chirped, handing him the paper and beaming and Van had to chuckle. "this is a beautiful Rainbow." and all the colors where correct too. "are you feeling better daddy?" "yes, much better." he promised with a smile. "i don't hurt at all anymore." and he twisted and moved, more to prove to himself that the pain was gone. he'd somehow healed in the three hour nap they'd had.
 
Sai smiled and nodded. "You sure did, little one. You knew Master Jinx would protect your daddy" she said with a gentle smile, knowing that Jinx had meant what he said about protecting Evander. She followed the girl out of the room when she went to fetch him coffee. The second both Sophira and Sai were out of the room he looked at Evander. "Alright, I guess you are right there. I have wanted to fuck you for a while now. You've got the perfect body and I just hunger for it, much better than any of my past pets. Plus, you don't hate Anthros nowadays. That just makes me want you more" he purred seductively, falling silent when the others returned. His voice had been little more than a whisper to keep little Sophira from hearing them talking.

"Daddy! you're all red! are you sick?" she cried out, feeling utterly dismayed as she felt his forehead with a tiny hand. "you're all hot! you have a fever!" she wailed, entirely upset and Evander quickly forced himself to calm down and explain that he wasn't sick, he'd just embarrassed himself and he had only been blushing. then he had to explain what embarrassing was, and why a person blushed when they where embarrassed, and then he had to explain what made the skin turn red and why. then he had to play a rhyming game with her, which was actually a lot more fun than one would think. Evander very carefully avoided even looking at the Drake, fearing what might happen... or worse, be said, if he did. finally it was time for dinner and Sai and Sophira left to go get dinner and Evander risked a glance at the Dragon, went beat, bright red and hid his face in his hands.

"i knew it... i knew you where a pervert.. i just knew it. one look at you and the whole damn world knew it." he complained with a shake of his head. "no wonder most of the humans in your... service, went insane. you perved them into insanity... well it's a good thing i'm already half way there myself or i might have gone mad right then and there!" he was babbling, clearly flustered and trying desperately not to think about how sex with an Anthro that large would work.. what kind of cock did a Dragon even have? was it human like? lizard like? did lizards even have dicks? he didn't know... and he certainly wasn't about to ask, he had no doubt he was going to find out himself once Sophira was safely sequestered away for the night. that would probobly be right after dinner, as the little girl insisted on doing 'lessons' after dinner every night. something that had driven both his wife, and the guards, nearly insane as she demanded a list of problems to solve and words to learn how to spell. she also demanded a new 'study' book every night. sometimes history, sometimes geography, sometimes this or that or other things... Van hoped that Sai could handle that. "...when is dinner?" an finally demanded. "i'm hungry..."
 
Jinx fought back a laugh at the expression that had formed on Evander's face, but soon fell onto his back laughing, his breathing growing shallow as he gasped for air. It had been years since he had laughed this much and when Sai returned with Sophira, it was quite clear that she was shocked and confused. Her gaze moved towards Evander and a knowing smile had grown on her lips when she realized exactly what they had been talking about. She smiled, picking up the small child and licking her cheek as a mother wolf would do to her pups. "Little one, you need to sleep about an hour or two after dinner, alright? Then tomorrow I will take you outside, and I'll show you all the best places in the palace" she said, swinging the girl around playfully as she carried her out of the room and towards the kitchen.

Jinx looked at Evander with a smirk. "Actually that was all a joke. I just wanted to see your reaction~ But now that I think of it, you do look like you'd make a good sexual partner~" he purred, climbing back onto the bed and shifting closer. "Something tells me I'll have to explain to you a little about Anthro anatomy before I do anything with you. Out genitals are exactly the same as human genitals" he said with a shrug before he rolled over once again. "Dinner will be served now."
 
Evander glared a little at Jinx, flushing bright red again as the... lizard! burst into laughter. he couldn't think of anything more insulting, since he was fairly sure that calling the man a bastard wouldn't be insulting enough. he offered Sai a glare as well for her amused smirk and Sophira giggled as she was licked before she scowled. "no, i do Lessons after dinner." she complained. "and then i go to bed." "...you won't talk her out of it." Evander warned the new mother. "she's done this since she was able to speak, and she throws a very large fit if she doesn't get to learn directly after dinner. she'll do her lessons and then go to bed after reading from a book for an hour." he explained. "and a Sophira tantrum is not something you want to witness over something so small." he admitted with a small sheepish smile. "it's her mothers fault of course. that... woman, would do whatever Sophira wanted if only to make her... be quite." he explained, the look on his face enough to show that he did NOT approve of the way his daughter had been raised for the first two years of her life.

Van shuddered as they left and he went bright red again at Jinx's teasing comments and he shot the other a sharp glare as he tried to shift away, yelping as he nearly fell off the bed, flushing even harder as he realized he was practically trapped and he swallowed thickly as he was informed that they shared the same genitalia... wonderful... that was... yes... he sighed in relief as the other rolled away and he shook his head. he wasn't entirely sure why he was so nervous... maybe because he knew if he failed to... please, he'd be killed. truth or not, that was what he believed. and he hadn't had sex in a very long time. eight, maybe ten years. he wasn't sure of the actual years but it had been a long time and he wasn't... he didn't really... he didn't want to admit that he was very much attracted to Jinx. physically at least.
 
Sai nodded in agreement. "That sounds alright little one, I can give you some books on Anthros that you can study?" she offered in a gentle voice as she sat down on the dining hall where there were a few plates of food left out for them, as well as for Jinx and Evander. Sai placed Sophira down in front of a plate and she began eating. Sai smiled softly at her. "Alright Sophira, what do you normally do in lessons? Is it just studying of books, or is there spelling and other questions as well?" she questioned in a soft voice, wondering what she would need to do for this small child's lesson time in the future. She was willing to let the little girl do what she wanted, but if it would endanger her or anyone else, she would not be afraid to stop her.

Jinx smiled softly at him, an unusual kind of smile to be seen on his face. "There is nothing to worry about, Evander... You won't be hurt in anyway by me. I understand that it has been years since you last slept with someone. So I won't hold that against you" he said with a smirk. With that he climbed out of bed and helped him out of bed, helping him to the dining hall where he sat down on the chair with a gentle sigh, eating his food.
 
the little girl beamed, utterly delighted to have something new to work on. "oh yes i'd like that!" she chirped eagerly as she examined her plate of food, delighted to see that there was broccoli. probobly weird for a child to like broccoli, but Sophira wasn't all that interested in being a 'normal' little girl. "i get a list of math questions to work on, made by whatever gaurd isn't in a bad mood. and he gives me a list of words to learn how to spell too." she admitted with a nod. "i can spell Mississippi and Elephant, and Marsupial." she admitted, beaming happily. "and then i read a book on something and then i go to bed because Mommy is usually sick of looking at me by then." she admitted, nodding sagely.
