At the sound of being called 'my lord', Sebastian turned his head towards the man. And smiled. So it wasn't a dream... Well that was good. It all seemed to be so life-like that if it had turned out to just be a sleeping story, he would have been greatly disappointed. But then it faded when River asked his question. The thought of telling Jessica, or any one for that matter, hadn't crossed his mind yet. He should, yes, but did he really want to? He had to let Jessica know, since he'd be leaving her all alone after this year, but for the rest of the class... they wouldn't much care. Sebastian was entertaining for them, but that was about it. They never went out of their way to find out how his day had been or even ask what time it was. The red head was used to it by now, but Jessica had stuck by his side since the first day of middle school. They were the best of friends, to put it simply. In fact many people thought they were in a relationship. They weren't.
On most days...
Sebastian stood up and walked over towards the teacher, looking over the basin now offered to him, taking it gently and running his fingers over the runes etched into the rim. He gave a small smile this time before looking up towards River. "I'll try it tonight," he told him. "Contacting you. Better than a phone, I'd say. Less battery to watch out for." He tried to make it seem light hearted just before the man began to talk about just how much he would be learning from the books and how crazy his parents were acting when it came to cleaning the castle. He was grateful that they were trying to make things look neat and tidy for his arrival, but at the same time, he didn't want to make more work for people. And apparently them trying to help wasn't doing as much good as what they had hoped. There was so much to learn and he had only just cracked the surface of it all. This was going to be the worst crash course he would ever go through. The term 'cram school' came to his mind almost instantly and he stifled a laugh at the thought of how much he had insulted those crazy kids only weeks before.
"I'll love it no matter how it looks," he confessed softly, picking up the other books to add to the bag sitting at his hip. "I'm going into overload mode soon though," he added, patting the cover. "Any way you could come over and lay out some of the basics? Parents are gone today... possibly tomorrow after school as well. Mom's off on a business trip." Again... He couldn't help but roll his eyes slightly. She was a loving parent, but she also stopped for almost nothing. He could see the Queen being that way as well, oddly enough; a woman who cares for her land more than anything, except when it comes to family. Maybe his birth parents wouldn't be much different than his raised parents. "And I'll guess I'll wait to tell Jess until I really have to... I guess that would be my birthday."
