It happened so quickly. There wasn't even a second to think, to react what had happened. All it took was a moment to look the wrong way. The sound of screeching wheels and a loud horn was all that was heard followed by shattering glass and crunching metal. Then everything when black.
The next thing she knew her eyes opened to see the blurry vision of bright lights passing by her as she was laid on her back facing the ceiling. A loud ringing was in her ears as she heard people yelling orders that she couldn't understand from her hearing being almost gone. The only thing she understood was: "I don't know if she'll make it." Her raven black hair was filled with her own blood. Her once sparkling sapphire blue eyes were bloodshot and fighting to stay open. Her once normally tanned skin was now pale and covered in deep wounds bleeding heavily as shards of metal punctured her thin curvy body and made her skin pale from the blood loss. Next thing she knew everything went black.
When her eyes opened she was alone in a hospital room with wires and tubes attached to her body. The sound of a heart monitor was echoing through the room and practically in her ear. There was a mask that covered her face helping her breath, the only thing allowing her to breathe. Outside she heard a doctor speaking about her to someone.
"It's a miracle she's alive right now. Not many people survive a 18 wheeler car accident. But unfortunately she won't live for much longer. The fractues in her skull and massive blood loss and internal organ injures will be too much for her body to handle. Her body will start to shut down at any minute."
The doctor's words frightened her to no end. Her heart monitor started beeping faster and faster from the fear that her death was near. She didn't want to die. She wanted to live. The fear of it made her monitor go crazy until suddenly the beeping started to slow down. Getting slower and slower with each beep. Her eyes grew heavy and her vision tried to fade. She can't die, she won't die. Not now.
