Through The Woods (Sweetnothings and Hart)

Haley smiled down at the necklace. She looked up at Trinity and sighed. She'd have to ask later. She nodded with a soft smile. "Okay." She rubbed Caleb's back as he slept. "I might just get an omelet. I haven't had one of those in a while." She grinned and laughed.

Haley rubbed Caleb's cheek and smiled. She watched him open his eyes and begin to fuss. She lifted him up and began to feed him. She looked Alexander and grinned. "He seems interested in his toy." She joked.

She rocked him and prayed Jacob could wait until Caleb was done. She patted his back and let him continue to eat. She ordered an omelet and pulled Caleb away. She patted him on the back until he let out a tiny burp. "Switch?" She asked Trinity.

Trinity nodded and passed Jacob to Haley. Gently taking Caleb and cradling him as they sat at the table. Sipping lightly at her tea as they waited for their food. "So.....the house will be finished by the end of the week and we can move in" she said. Smiling at Haley

Haley took Jacob in her arms and began feeding him also. She held him close as she held her water in another hand. She sipped from it and squealed. "Oh my God! I'm so happy! I can't wait to see it. Is it already furnished? Is it pretty?" She blushed and shook her head. "Sorry. I'm just really happy. I can't wait to move in.

Haley smiled and pulled Jacob away after a while. She was so happy. She patted his back until he burped. "How'd it get done so quick?" She asked. She cradled the baby and yawned.

Haley smiled and laughed softly. "That makes sense. I love you so much." She kissed her softly and cradled Caleb. She bit her lip and looked down. "Trinity, why were you sad earlier? And don't tell me it's nothing. I want to know." She said firmly.

The futa smiled against her wife's lips as they kissed. Always enjoying the feel of them anywhere against her. Sighing she looked away for a few moments before answering. "Because the our family isn't all mine" she whispered.

Haley frowned slightly and looked down at the table. She stood up from her chair with Jacob in her arms. She walked out of the restaurant and sat down on the bench outside. "I never meant for the pregnancy to happen." She said so she could reassure herself. She didn't want her wife to feel upset about something like that.

Haley couldn't bring herself to go back in and eat. She rubbed Jacob's back as she stared into the sky. "I wish you and your brother were Trinity's. Everything would be okay. I wouldn't have to deal with the priestess." A few tears slipped down her cheeks. She sighed and willed herself to walk back in.

Haley frowned and looked down at Jacob. She couldn't let that stupid phrase hurt their relationship. She inhaled sharply and walked to Trinity. "You can't be upset about it, Trinity. I never meant for it to happen, a-and I want to be you to be happy." She said nervously.

Looking up Trinity bit her lip, tears running down her cheeks. "Haley...I know you didn't mean it to happen. It was never your fault, we both did what she wanted t to get married...I'm..I'm just sad they aren't mine is all" she blurted out.

Haley sat down and wiped her eyes. "You don't need to be sad, baby. I'm just happy we're family. You'll treat them like they're yours. It doesn't matter if they're yours or not. I love you, and I don't want it to get in the way of our relationship." She whispered.

Haley reached over and cupped her face with her left hand. "Don't cry, baby. I'm not mad." She reassured. Alexander nodded. "Yeah! Mommy's not mad!" He said.

Haley smiled at Alexander and nodded. "I love you, too." She took her wife's hand and sighed softly. "Well, that was a good start to breakfast." She joked and took her fork to begin eating.

Haley smiled at Trinity and soon finished her omelet. She fished around in her handbag and found enough silver coins to pay for the bill.
