"Well, how about we...go to the beach? I'm sure we will both enjoy the sunshine after being cooped up for so long..." Bethany glanced about the restaurant again, unaware of all the lustful looks she was receiving. One man began to stand, summoning the courage to approach her.
 
He smiles. "Sounds like a good idea." He says looking at his sister. Mike looks around and spots the guy standing up and looking over towards them. He gives him a look and watches the guy sit back down. He didn't usually do that kind of thing but he was spending time with his sister. He didn't want some douche to come over and start hitting on her. The beach sounded like a really good idea, he could imagine having to put suntan lotion on her soft skin. The idea made him happy...extremely happy.
 
Bethany's lips curved into a soft smile. "I'm glad you like the idea..." she told him, flushing pink. The waiter came again, a notepad in hand, while asking what they would like to order. "Um...I would like to have some Teriyaki chicken, please...with pork rice." After giving a curt nod he turned his attention onto her brother. "And you, sir? What would you like to have?" he asked, his tone of voice bored and his attitude less than pleasant.
 
"I'll have some Teryaki Chicken as well and some white rice." He says looking at him. Gee somebody hated their job he thought to himself. The waiter walks off and he looks at his sister. "Wow someone is miserable." He laughs.
 
"Maybe just a little bit..." Bethany agreed, only to laugh along with him. "Anyway... Why don't you tell me how you've been lately? I know that we are both off to college here soon...but still... I feel like I barely know you..."
 
He smiles and nods. "Yeah we've both drifted apart a little bit. I've been okay, single now. Me and Sarah broke up a few months back. Been trying to keep myself busy, working and hanging out with the guys. How about yourself?" He asks.
 
Bethany listened to his brief bit, noting how he wasn't really sad about the ordeal. "I am...alright. I broke up with Chance a while back myself, and well...I have been keeping busy too. Nothing much can be said, really..."
 
He nods. "Better off without them." He says with a smile as he reaches across the table and rubs her arm.
 
"I agree." Bethany smiled and rubbed his arm in return, blushing a light pink. "Anyway... What was the reason behind you two breaking up?"
 
"She cheated on me. Turns out she was dating my friend Joey the whole time behind my back."He says looking at her. "Both of them are out of my life now." He says.
