Shattered Soul (kuro_bara x Alenaeon)

Remwald stuck his tongue in as far as he could while he removed her shorts entirely. She didn't seem to be complaining so he worked a bit harder, his tongue circling her clit a few times before going back to the main course. He placed a hand on her stomach while the other rested on the side of her hip. He continued to assault her vagina with his tongue for a few moments, before he sat up and rested his head on her mound. He did his best to smile seductively at her as he fumbled with the buttons on his suit, starting to do it.

When he moved away and started fumbling with the buttons on his suit she sat up and started undoing them one at a time for him desperately trying to catch her breath after his first onslaught. She slid his jacket off and started on the shirt before helping slide that off his shoulders trailing her fingers over the bare skin of his chest and torso. Beth could feel everything he felt and it amplified her own desires and emotions. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down on top of her letting her fingers resume their wandering on his back before kissing him deeply.

Remwald kissed her back as he felt her chest pressing against his. The joy of feeling the warmth of her skin against his made him appreciate this moment even more. He was tempted to remove his pants, but that could wait, he wrapped his arms around her, resting them on her lower back. He kissed her again, and again before he pulled his head away. "Would you like to keep going?"

Beth bit her lip in thought. "I...I don't know..." She said truthfully. She did want to but it scared how fast it had all happened. Her violet eyes stared up into his. She knew very well how he was feeling about it and Beth thought it would be rather cruel to stop him now. Besides he had so far been very gentle, never forcing her past a point she wasn't ready for. This time a sultry voice accompanied the lust filled laugh in her mind and she recognized it from the dream she had the other night involving her Shadow counterpart. The voice taunted her, telling her it wasn't surprised she couldn't do it. It whispered that eventually it would have Remwald not her. Fury fueled her next actions, there was nothing that riled her up like that Shadow.

She slowly slid her hands down his back and toyed with the waist band of his trousers after a moment of shyly looking away she looked straight into his eyes and undid the button slowly before kissing him. 'I won't loose to her...' Elizabeth declared to herself shoving the faint presence out of her mind and focusing on Rem.

Rem was quite confused by the emotions going through her mind, wondering if she had some past related to matters like this, but now was not the time to question it. As she unbuttoned his trousers, he pulled her into a hug, holding her against him as he used a free handle to wiggle his trousers down. He kissed her lips, then her chin, then her neck as his hands explored her back and arms, intent on finding out where any of her sensitive spots were.

The soft caress of his lips as they explore sent a pleasant tingle through her body that settled between her thighs like a dull ache. As he reached her neck she let out soft little moan and shivered. Any fear she had was rapidly dissolving in the face of the passion being ignited inside her. Beth returned the affections, kissing along his jaw and collarbone with the occasional teasing lick as her hands trailed across the bare skin on his back and shoulders.

He only became more comfortable as this went on, feeling at home next to her body. He rested his head against her neck, softly teasing it. Giving it a gentle kiss, a brush of the cheek, a slow, sensual lick to get her all the more excited. His hands moving to hold her while he slowly slid himself inside of her, he was a patient lover. His constant teasing trying to help her adjust to this new feeling, he didn't know what to expect as he got further and further into her, but he didn't care. His thoughts, emotions, and body all focused entirely on her.

Each kiss, each touch sent an electric tingle through her limbs causing her mind to go pleasantly numb. She felt him grip her hips gently and a small pressure as he thrust into her. He was gentle and moved slow allowing her time to get used to the new sensation. His teasing served as an excellent distraction as did the emotions she felt flowing from him to her. The feel of him inside her made her gasp and eagerly press her hips up to meet him. Another, louder sound of pleasure escaped her and her arms wrapped around him tightly. Her mind blurred slightly as he continued; slow and sensual at first and growing into a faster, rougher passion. Her cries grew louder until a powerful wave of pleasure washed over her leaving her feeling weak and pleasantly exhausted.

They laid together on the her small sofa for what seemed a long time afterwards, her fingers trailing idly across his shoulders as his head rested on her chest. "Rem...that was..." She trailed off, she didn't really have a way to describe quiet how she felt. Beth rested her chin on the top of his head and wrapped her arms tightly around him. "It was amazing..." She murmured softly. There was no running away from her feelings now.

Remwald couldn't help but smile, he was thoroughly pleased with himself and her. Oh, she sent so many emotions through him that weren't just from the sex. He kissed her, just under the neck as he let his eyes drift upward towards her. "As befits someone as special as you. I can only hope to show you how wonderful you are." He closed his eyes, pressing further against her as he tried to let sleep drift over himself.

When he woke up, he crawled up a bit, giving her a soft kiss on the lips before standing up and dressing himself. "We should hurry, we have a standing army of undead and if they are found, well that will set us back somewhat. You were wonderful last night though." He went over to her and took her hand, ready to leave right now to wage a war.

Beth gave him a sleepy, pleased smile as she hauled herself off the couch and stretched. She kissed him quickly before padding off to her room to get dressed. Her cheeks were a little pink from his last comment. "You were pretty great yourself." She called from the bedroom, emerging short while dressed and ready to go. The connection between them seemed stronger or heightened today, she tilted her head to the side as she regarded him thoughtfully. "So are we going straight after Dirigible?" It seemed risky even with their own personal army at hand.

Remwald thought for a moment. "Yes, might as well. It creates a public relations nightmare if we fail, and if we succeed, well there will be much chaos created from that regardless. I would wait normally, but evidently waiting will just get turned against me." He headed out the door, talking as he walked. "Of course, a straight forward attack is the most likely way to catch them off guard and besides, the important part is that it will be fun!"

He lead her to the slums where they kept their undead minions, and started calling them, intent on walking down main street towards the suspected Dirigible headquarters. He kept his dagger sheathed at his side, his voidclaw in his hand, Elizabeth's hand in his other. His eyes scanned the streets, awaiting the first response.

Elizabeth walked along side him noticing a weird flickering at the corners of her vision that hadn't been there before. It was particularly strong when the undead minions were at her peripheral. It also changed colour depending on what she was looking at. When she looked towards the undead there was a flickering blackness around them but if she caught a lamp out of the corner of her eye, it had a golden yellow hue to the energy. Her head kept swiveling trying to catch the image but it vanished as soon as she looked at it directly.

As they approached Dirigible a line of armed men appeared in the street ahead of them. She turned her head trying to see if they had the flickering light, they did but very faintly. She frowned trying to puzzle out what it was she was looking at. There were at least twice as many uniformed men ranked along the street as there were undead, though she suspected they still had the advantage since only she was able to be killed and even that was apparently iffy.

Remwald noted her confusion, but didn't say anything. Although the appearance of armed men surprised him, in a pleasant way. He gently tried to guide Elizabeth towards the back of the wall of undead meat they had created, knowing that most mages and people were not as able to absorb blows as well as him and his kindred. He waved towards the man when he though Elizabeth would be safe. "Oh boys~! You just put your weapons down and we'll make this quick, alright? Alright."

He flung his dagger as quick as the eye could see, planting it inside of one of the men's throat before it returned to his grasp a second later. The ones who had guns fired off their weapons while the undead and Remwald charged. The undeads used their claws and bodies as weapons, not extremely effective but given their opponents had a hard time damaging them they came out ahead.

Elizabeth didn't fight him as he led her to the back, she was still distracted with trying to pin down whatever it was that was tickling the edges of her vision. As the undead ran headlong into Dirigible's forces she winced, hearing bones scrape and snap as they fought. She closed her eyes when one of the skeletons was viciously cracked in half by two of the men. As soon as her eyes were closed the energy she had been seeing sprang up around the figures, she could see it through her minds eye. Too her the battlefield now looked like a bright field of moving energy. The undead were brilliant lit up in black while the men were slightly dimmer, reddish sort of color. Using the knowledge Rem had taught her she reached out and pulled at the red energy, draining it away from them as it flowed out of them it started to turn black.

Nearby three men dropped to the ground, dead from the process. Using the black energy she now held she wound it around the damaged skeleton, infusing the flickering darkness around him with the new stuff she had pulled. His bones repaired and he continued on his rampage.

It turned out that using undeads as cannon fodder was extremely effective, especially when cannons were not actually involved so weaponry didn't seem that effective. The few 'wounds' Rem had managed to sustain were quickly repaired, mostly pistol shots to the head and whatnot since he was deflecting and dodging the blades that came at him instead of his zombies. The battle lasted only a few moments before it was over.

Remwald moved his hands in arcane gestures, with chanting to match it. Letting magic flow from him, he was binding the souls of the dead to stay on this world and fight for him until the fight with dirigible was over, then they would go to whatever afterlife they belonged too. The few undeads that had been lost were replaced in number by ghosts. Remwald's shoulders slumped slightly, the magical energy required taxing his body but now he had more defenses in place.

Beth could feel her own energy lagging but ignored it. This was the first time she had felt moderately useful to Remwald in a fight. Closing her eyes again she focused on a group of five men, ruthlessly pulling their life force from them she than forced the now converted mana into Rem bolstering his own reserves and healing him. When she opened her eyes again she staggered and fell to to her hands and knees, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps almost like she had been running for too long. Looking up at the fight made her feel dizzy and everything seemed a little blurry. One of the soldiers spotted her and made a beeline for her. He was clearly hoping to catch her while she was down. As he approached Beth with his weapon drawn she made a twisting motion with her hand and yanked the life out of him. The action killed him and caused a fierce pain in her head. She tried to focus her wavering vision on the ground noticing a few drops of blood there. Reaching up she touched her nose and stared in dull surprise at the blood that came away on her finger tips.

The fight was over shortly after Beth dropped to her knees, probably for good reason as Rem walked over to Beth, a sad look on his face. He hated to see her in pain or hurt at all so he did his best to comfort her, his hand resting against her upper back, the undeads being mentally commanded to surrounded them in case of another attack. He rubbed her back while looking at her. "Do not tax yourself so heavily. I do not know what I could do without you."

He waited for her to recover before he stood up and headed closer. This was only the first wave, he imagined as they got closer the soldiers they would run into would be more demented, more twisted, more vile until they were facing demons themselves or undead abominations that Felida had created. His steps were quicker then before, excited at the notion of battle.

She gave him a bleary look and felt his hand on her back. "I'm fine." She tried to lie, though it was obvious both from looking at her and from their connection that she was not. "I can still fight. I have to help." She insisted, staggering to her feet with the help of his arm. She smiled though when he said the last words. "You would survive and find a new young woman to love." She teased lightly.

The roads were suspiciously quiet as they neared the main complex. There were no new waves of soldiers or any other monsters. Beth was silently grateful for the lull, it was giving her time to recover from the last fight though her head still ached slightly at least her vision was no longer blurry.

Remwald sighed and helped her, taking her hand in his. He smiled back at her and shook his head. "I do not know if I will be able to move on after encountering you, but I hope to not have to deal with that." He was still suspicious, and his movements paranoid and constantly wary.

He glanced at the buildings, wishing there were a few more dead to resurrect but he would have to deal with. Of course, he'd have to deal with the fact that he unleashed major magics upon a previously nonmagical plane and the societal consequences of that later. For now, he leaned against Elizabeth, partially wishing he could use old age as an excuse to stay close to her.

Beth leaned into his side and gave him a small smile, his emotions were making her edgy and she jumped at the slightest sounds around them. The main building loomed up ahead of them and it was now obvious why there were no more waves of soldiers. The compound was completely surrounded by a high iron fence and inside of it, standing shoulder to shoulder were armed men mixed with a spattering of what she suspected were non human beings. She cast a worried look up at Rem wondering how they would handle so many at once, she certainly wasn't in any condition to fight a huge crowd like that.

As they approached not one person moved. They all stared straight ahead as if waiting for some unheard command to move. It was an eerie sight to be sure and it made Elizabeth shiver with apprehension. Whoever Rem's grand daughter was...she had certainly assembled an imposing host to protect herself.

Remwald grinned and clapped his hands. "Bravo gents. Bravo! I do believe we have a show to put on and well," He looked around among his assembled host, of course he knew there had to be some people watching and he was in an entertaining mood so he yelled at the top of his lungs. "The Librod's never disappoint! Lets go, go, go!"

He dashed forward to the enemy, although he motioned for Elizabeth to stay back. He waved his hands like a conductor, mentally guiding the undead to match his motions, most of the zombies heading for the right flank, with a spattering of skeletons among them, and vice versa. The ghosts floated up and above. "String 'em up and shoot 'em down! Bring 'em to the town! O' the dead! O' the dead! Come on boys, come on girls! The fight ain't over til they ain't no more! We can settle this darn score!"

Beth stood back watching him conduct the morbid orchestra they had assembled, her eyes wide with shock. Sometimes it was hard to forgot what he was when he was being gentle and loving. There was no mistaking it right now. The undead descended upon the army on the other side of the fence with reckless abandon and all chaos broke loose. As the fight raged on Beth lost sight of Rem amid the masses of fighters though she tried her best to stay out of it by keeping near the edges it was hard to remain inconspicuous. A group of soldiers spotted her and started trotting towards her weapons raised.

A small cry escaped her lips and she through a hand out in front of her as if something magical would happen. The men appeared worried and hesitated just long enough for a pack of skeletons to pounce on them from behind. Beth fled, running into the chaos with her heart pounding in her chest. The smell of blood permeated the air and made it hard to breath, the ground was slick in spots with pools of it from the living. As she ran, without realizing it she pulled in a great deal of energy that was just leeching into the earth from dying men and women. It wasn't until she reached the building that she realized her nerves were on fire with the amount of death energy she had sucked in along the journey. Her whole body was vibrating with the effort of containing the power inside and instinctively she knew if she did not expel it quickly it could very well kill her.

Panting slightly she pressed her hands against the ground and closed her eyes picking out all the red dots of energy within her range. Each one represented a life fighting in the battle against Rem and his army. She imagined little black threads to each of them and simultaneously sent a spear of death energy down each thread. The force screamed through her spreading out in all directions, the red dots winking out of existence each time a spear of darkness hit the red light. The last thing she remembered before passing out was the gleeful screeches of undead as they swarmed the remaining survivors.

Bang, bang, bang, the bodies hit the ground with light thuds and splashes. With a wave of his hands, the bodies were piled up against the wall for later use, with the undeads standing around them protecting them as a small detachment followed Remwald back to Elizabeth. "My little flower, you have worn yourself out." He got on his knees and cradled her head, content to remain here until she woke up, the anger within his mind flowing away with every second.

There were hints of life from around them, a person here, a person there, but they kept their distance especially since there had just been a large slaughter. None knew what to make of the undeads and their leader, but they were certainly scared. The bodies were piled up carefully near the walls, a few of the ghosts launching attacks at any soldiers brave enough to get on the walls.

Beth's eyes fluttered open and it took several long, dizzying seconds to figure out why everything looked so odd. She was flat on her back with her head resting in Rem's hands, the foggy sky swirling above her like someone was stirring it up with a spoon. Her entire body ached fiercely though nothing hurt more than her head did. Even shifting her gaze to look up at Rem made her whimper with pain.

She didn't immediately realize why her face felt wet until she reached a shaking hand up and wiped at her lip. Blood appeared to have dripped from her nose though she wasn't quite sure if it was from collapsing face first onto the ground or from the strain of using too much power at once. "Rem..." She croaked softly, her throat hoarse from the abuse she put her body through.

Remwald hugged her, not saying a word beyond that. His body did it's best to show what he felt, pulling her up to be more in his arms, he cradled her close to his body for a few moments, before standing up, resting her on the ground. "Shh, stay here my sweet. My friends shall protect you, they are yours as I am. Everything will be ok." He gave them their instructions, expending a bit more of his willpower than he would have liked but they would protect her and follow her at all costs.

He moved over to the bodies, weaving his spellcraft, causing the bodies piled up to start shaping themselves into a grotesque fleshy ladder. He grabbed the rungs without a moment of hesitation, and his army started to follow after. The ghosts floated over, having some difficulty with the invisible magical barriers in place, but they forced their way through. He approached the main building. On the surface, it seemed like a normal corporate headquarters, but there was a magical tension within the air, like a loaded gun waiting to fire.

They advanced upon the front doors, the zombies using their strength and bodymass to press through them. Inside was a lobby, with a few offices and a magical elevator going down. Employees walked around nonchalantly as if nothing had happened, a few glancing at Remwald and his army of the undead before their skin tore away, the demonic beasts true forms revealing themselves, prepared for a fight the two forces clashed.
