Her eyes snapped fire at him. "Shut up Dane." She narrowed her eyes. "I did not poison her," She crossed her arms. "Idiot" She mumbled under her breath. "FYI, I just came to warn you, her kind are dangerous and manipulative," She picked her purse up, maing sure that she showed enough of her lace as she bent over to get it.
"Her kind become very monstrous when angry, and it won't take you long to lose your interest in her," She gave him an almost sad smile. "And when you do, she won't just walk away and leave you, she'll take vengeance, and her kind don't do it nicely." She shut the TV and tossed the remote at Dane. "she's been playing you for a fool."She shrugged. "That being said I did enjoy last night with her..." She trailed off, then shrugged. "Either way, that was a gift to you."She sounded so sincere.
She then headed to the door to leave. "Consider yourself warned babe, I'm out. Oh. and if she starts losing it, call me, and I'll see what I can do, there's only so much time a mermaid can stay away from her home."She gestured wit her head toward the beach. "And it gets worse." She headed off then.
Good. She planted her seeds. Even if he didn't believe her now, planting doubt was a good first step.
