Nathan's reply caused a twitch inside Lain. "You can't see a difference huh? We'll see about that." She growled lowly, before starting. "So as you all can see, our former seniors are here to update us on the hunt for the rogue vampire that's been spotted two cities away." She announced making way for her sister and Marco, who pushed himself too close to her, purposely pressing his chest to her breasts as she passed. "First thing. We found him and have him in the higher council for his hearing and hopefully a reformation." Marco told everyone then looked Lana who spoke second. "AS you all know, if he does not reform for the council he will be executed publicly."

"Public execution?" He muttered to himself. "I know he is a rogue who acts on his own...but a public execution? 'Oh, we're just setting an example to traitors'." He mocked. "Just kill him if he doesn't reform. There shouldn't need to be a spectacle over such things." He frowned and crossed his arms in annoyance. "Way to rule an empire...Put fear into people by publicly killing off their own kind. He may have killed others and such, but there has to be a reason for him going rogue from your society."

Lain sighed and looked at her sister then Marco who was set on blurting out until Lain spoke before him. "Whether it be public or in private he could have killed you, and any other human. You do not have to attend since it's that unethical to you." She spat, feeling her entire body go cold. Nathan was seriously brining out a side of Lain and everyone who knew her had seen it forming. "If teaching other vampires who are on the verge of Anarchy that death is their only freedom then we all are nothing but sadistic monsters now aren't we?" She asked rhetorically, blankly staring at Nathan. "This meeting will be adjouned early. My head hurts." Lain demanded, walking out before anyone. "How dare he mock the ways of my ancestors. I'm doing this for him!" She screamed, storming out until she found herself lost in the city.

"Yeah? Well maybe you all ARE nothing but sadistic monsters. You're no better than the rogues. You're just justifying the reason to kill them!" He said back angrily and watched her storm off. He had a heavy glare as he stood up and headed out as well as everyone began to leave. He headed off, going toward the place where he had been killed. He just needed to stay away and for some reason this place seemed like the best place to be. The place where he was last human and normal. He sat down on a nearby bench and listened to the wind as he let his mind wander.

AS Lain wandered, she couldn't help but feel another presence, in hopes of it being Nathan she turned around to only see Marco looking back at her. "I'll take you home." He said lowly, pointing to his extended limousine waiting for him. Reluctantly, she got in and looked at her phone then dialed for Nathan waiting for him to pick up, before she could hear if he had however Marco had taken her phone and tossed it aside, with it still dialing. "You shouldn't worry about a vampire that cant even let go of his human emotions." Marco said with a smirk, moving closer to Lain. "He isn't like that. Nathan just sees things differently than other vampires. He isn't still human. " She argued, moving to the other side. She knew what was going on but she would be a fool's fool to let another man touch her. "Nathan is mine and I am his no matter what we disagree on Marco. Do not touch me!" She cried out a little too late as she was already pinned down. "Nathan already proved to me that he isn't right for you." He growled, gripping her wrists tightly, unknowingly they had just entered the park Nathan had posted himself, wishing she could escape and not let this happen, Lain used the last trump card she held and softly whispered Nathan's name in hopes of him hearing or even allowing himself to hear her call for him.

Nathan heard his phone begin to ring, and reached into his pocket to answer it. Seeing it was Lain, he was half tempted to simply ignore the call...but answered it anyway. "Hello?" He said lightly, only to hear Marco and Lain speak in the background as if the phone had been dropped. He clutched the phone tightly, teeth beginning to grit against each other as he heard Marco attempt to have his way with Lain. "You let her go you bastard...!" He roared into the phone, only to feel a familiar presence nearby. He looked over to the nearby limo that began to slowly drive through the park...and heard Lain whisper his name. Something clicked in him...and he grew angry. He leapt into the air and toward the limo, landing on the top and slammed his fist through the roof, grasping Marco by the collar of his shirt and pulling hard to tear him through the roof of the car. He began to punch at Marco wildly and without aim. He was berzerking in anger. "Don't you dare touch her you filth!"

When Lain seen Marco become lifted off of her, She was overjoyed. Nathan had answered her, quickly Lain stepped out and watched as Nathan lost control, finally his true vampire power was unleashed and she was both afraid and proud. "Nathan!" She screaned to break him from his blood ridden trance. "I want to go home now."

When he came to, he was staring at Lain. He reached out toward her, blood all over his hand. "Lets go, Lain...I'll make sure he never touches you again..." He said honestly, showing his sincerity in his voice.

Lain nodded in shock but was more than grateful to Nathan right now. As she followed behind him silently she felt the complete change in him. Unable to handle his new state of vampirism, Lain asked him the only question in her mind. "Nathan, how do you feel right now?" She said silently, gently chewing her lip. Honestly his power was stronger than she had ever imagined which turned her on the more she looked at him.

"I don't feel different anymore..." He murmured. "I feel like I did after you turned me. I don't know what got into me...I just began to berzerk when he put himself on you like that..." He stopped to turn to her. "The power felt amazing...but I feared that I had lost control of myself. I was only attacking the first thing I saw and Marco just happened to be it..." He looked to her with a frown. "I won't hurt you...will I?"

Lain shook her head softly, kissing Nathan's cheek. "No you just have to gain control and keep it. This power is a gift not a curse. Just embrace it and everything will make a difference." She said reassuringly to him then walked into her estate only to hear her sisters voice pierce her ears. "What the hell happened?!" Lana screamed, as she pointed over to Marco who was wiping his face still, from Nathan's attack.

"I broke your boy toy. Thats what happened." Nathan said bluntly as he popped his knuckles, which were still bloody from his flurry of punches. "If he touches Lain again...He won't have to worry about the pain for much longer." He smiled and looked to Lain to show he had her back when it came to truly serious things...even when they would disagree with one another about other stuff to the point they hated one another to an extent.

"Lana you take care of Marco, I don't want him anymore." Lain said coldly as she took a small wet wipe and gently cleaned Nathan's hands. "Excuse me?" Lana scoffed, Marco was never yours to begin with Lain, he only used you because you allowed him to. So stop with the big girl act." She finished, bumping past Lain but she wasn't fast enough seeing as Lain held a firm grip on her arm, slowly she whispered in her ear. "If that's the case big sister, where was Marco for your wedding?" She asked rhetorically watching Lana's face turn from angry to hurt in one motion. "Nathan, I think it's time for me to get you cleaned up. You've deserved some pampering." She said in a mocking tone as she led the boy to back to her bedroom, Lana's screaming and cursing were heard in the didstance which made Lain even more proud.

"Well now...it would seem like Marco is quite the playboy isn't he?" Nathan replied as he followed Lain, having overheard her speak about how Marco left her at the altar for her wedding. He went into the bathroom with her, hearing the yells of Lana in the distance. "Heh...She may be bigger than you where it counts sexually but you've got quite the fire in you, Lain." He said with a small laugh.

"I can see how you'd not like him anymore. The guy's a douche." He replied and stripped down. Once naked, he stepped inside of the tub filling with hot water and relaxed into it. "Won't you join me, Lain? I'd love to have company in here." He winked playfully at her. "At least the douchenozzle knows to stay away from you now...Or else I'll kill him the next time he even thinks of touching you."

"You don't really have to do all of this for me. I just did what anyone would do for the one they cared for." He smiled and kissed her lips just as softly as she kissed him. "Though I don't mind it." He seemed to relax in the bathtub even more as the water soothed his aching muscles. "Lain...I won't let him touch you ever again. I promise you that...I don't want to be the over-protective boyfriend or anything but anytime he's around...expect me to be on edge."

"Thats good to know baby." He said with a smile and relaxed more and more as she scrubbed him down. "Feels good babe..." He said with a smile. "So Lain...Whats going to become of the rogue vampire that you all caught?"

He remained silent. "I still don't think it should be a public spectacle, Lain...Execution is alright by me, but using it as a public event to strike fear into the masses...That doesn't bring respect. It brings fear and people who uprise against you."

"Then explain the rogue vampires. Explain that? They obviously have different opinions than your government, Lain." He murmured. A sigh left his lips as he leaned more into the tub and let her wash his hair. "I'd love it if you could join me and the two of us just relax together."

"Rogue vampires are the product of irresponsibly owners. If I hadn't brought you under my care you would have lost control and relied solely on your this for blood. Rogue vampires could be humans that were changed and see it as a curse or those who were merely toys for sick Vampires with way too much power but cannot be punished." She explained to him, rinsing his head. "I will get in later on, you need to relax more than I."
