The Wrong Spell, By XavierHarper and Minako2012

Irvine was readying himself for something he'd never done before; cast a spell. It would be his first attempt, despite his hobby of reading about any kind of magic. If it went right, then Irvine would be able attract a girlfriend. His nonexistent social life and ability to be effectively invisible in plain sight meant he had never caught a girl's eye, and he felt that it would be a shame to end high school without at least getting a date. So Irvine was going to try out a spell in the newest book he acquired. If it worked correctly, he'd become 'the peak of his seductive ability'. Or at least that's what he was reasonably sure it said. It was supposed to bring out his best qualities that girls would look for.

Irvine had the circle drawn, the candles lit, and the ashes of the specified plants spread. All that was left was the final ingredient, his blood. Irvine was glad that the rest of his family had gone out. His father and mom on a date, and his sister with her friends. It would be awkward for them to come across this, especially the final part. He didn't want them catching him cutting himself with a ceremonial dagger.

Irving began chanting, saying the words of a tongue he barely understood, with several words he had no specific definition of.

Lisa drove up to the house with a bright laugh she had been out for the day relaxing with her friends. She'd gotten her hair done and it looked great and she'd even done some shopping. It had been a way for her friends to cheer her up. She'd had to dump her last boyfriend it hadn't been his fault. The boyfriend she'd had before him had cheated kn her then dumped her so a guy she just wasn't interested in didn't bother her. Though she was more than happy to enioy some pampering so her hair was now trimmed and layered and fresh highlights had been spread through her honey blonde hair. Her new outfit consisted of a dress which hugged her D-cup breasts and round hips perfectly. Her brigjt blue eyes sparkled as she grabbed the rest of her bags and walked upstairs not realizing her brother was home.

She stayed in her room on her laptop figuring she was alone so she could do a bit of work maybe work on her blog. If anything she could just surf around watch a few videos and just relax until someone came home. She wasn't the type to do a whole lot heck she didn't even sleep around with any guy that winked at her. Most girls she knew had slept with half the football team by now but she didn't care to. Its why she'd gotten cheated on but then again that didn't bother her as much as the jerk's reaction to her anger.

Unknowing of his sister's entrance, Irvine continued the chant. On the last word, he cut himself and let the blood fall into the center of the circle, and waited, breathless and hopeful. As the seconds ticked by, his hope turned to resignation. 'Just a false...' At exactly a dozen seconds after the spilling of his blood, he fell unconscious, landing on the floor with a thump. The shadows of the room thickened, and then fell upon Irvine. Senseless, he couldn't see or feel the shadows as they changed him, and filled his being. He had no idea that the spell was more than he had wanted, and had some other effects...

Another dozen seconds went by after he fell unconscious. Then Irvine woke up with a headache. 'Ugh, what happened?' A quick look made him realized that the cut on his arm was gone. And so had his physique. Instead of being skinny, he was muscled, athletically shaped. Then the pounding in his head worsened, and he tossed aside his elation that the spell had worked to groan loudly.

She had been surfing Tumblr when she heard a thump and looked up furrowing her brow. It had come from accross the hall and she realized Irvine must be home. She crawled off the bed setting her laptop down on the table walking out of the room. Going to her brother's room she knocked on the door she hadn't bothered to change out of the dress she'd bought.

"Irvine?" She called out "Are you okay?"

She knew her brother had strange habits and she wasn't interested in interrupting him at all. The books he brought home and such were very strange and she didn't really know how to read Latin she could tell some of them were disturbing. She knocked again wondering if she had just been hearing things.

Lisa's knocking spiked through his head, making it worse. Her voice, however, seemed soothing. It had never seemed that way before though...

Then she knocked again and the pain came back, intensified. Obviously he'd done something wrong with that spell. But... "I'm alright. Just tripped over some books. Could you get me some aspirin though? I've picked up a migraine." Even his tone had changed. It was deeper, and edged with pain at the moment, but still his. What all had the spell done to him? He hoped it hadn't made him taller. He was already 6'4", and really didn't need to buy new clothes. That would stick out, since he always wore baggy clothes to both hide and move freely.

"Okay" She said.

His voice sounded strange but that might have been caused by his migraine she welt to the bathroom to grab some aspirin out of the medicine cabinet and got some water from the kitchen. She walked back to his room and knocked on the door before starting to open it.

"I got you some Aspirin Irvine" She said softly "Are you sure you're okay?"

Lisa didn't talk to Irvine a whole lot they were two different people really bit that didn't mean she didn't care.
((Sorry its not my best...))

In the time Lisa went to get the aspirin, Irvine cleaned up the ritual circle, and removed any sign of doing something with magic. The noises only exacerbated the pain, but it was slowly fading away. Irvine was thankful that it wasn't permanent. Lisa's knocking was only mildly painful, instead of debilitating. Her voice was still soothing, at least.

"I'll be alright." Irvine replied. "Just a really painful migraine. Guess I was trying too hard to translate this book." He said in a depreciative tone as he gestured towards his latest acquisition. Irvine turned back towards Lisa, and froze at the sight of her.

All his mental processes froze, taking her in with all senses. Those seemed to have heightened, considering he could smell every individual scent of Lisa, from her shampoo to where she had been, to her own core scent. He heard her heartbeat, saw the slightest changes between skin and make-up, and could somehow feel her feminine presence.

Reason left him, and instinct took over. The desire to claim his sister, to mark Lisa as his, filled him. The spell he'd cast had changed him, on many levels. Physically was only one, mentally was another. Irvine was at the sexually attractive peak he could be. That just encompassed more than he realized, since that also meant magically.

He stood up unthinkingly, his dark red hair unchanged, but his eyes were now the deepest black instead of their usual sky blue. His demeanor and stance had also changed, to an aggressive one. Irvine was unconsciously demanding recognition as an Alpha, and the submission of others to his will. The shadows on his features seemed slightly deeper, adding a slight dangerous edge to him.

She froze taking him in what the hell had happened to her brother. He looked so muscular had he always looked that way that couldn't be he was thinner before.

"M-maybe you...need a break..." She stammared.

When he turned to look at her she noticed another change in him but she didn't know what it was that she noticed. She instinctively took a step back as he stood up and she looked into his eyes they weren't blue anymore.

"Irvine...what happened...to you..." She said softly backing away.

She didn't know why she was scared of him but she was he didn't look or even seem like himself. He seemed so much more aggressive and he was just standing there looking at her. All she could do was set the water and aspirin down.

"Y-your...aspirin..." She said softly "I...I'll uh..."

She suddenly regretted not changing out of the dress and into sweats and crossed her arms in front of her chest. The dress had been bought to make herself feel pretty but it kind of made her uncomfortable. Her brother's entire change made her concerned and she glanced at his books wondering what he'd been translating.

Irvine walked forward at a steady fast pace, not saying a word. His shirt begin to twist and contort, as if something was moving underneath it, until it ripped apart. Four black tentacles revealed themselves, coming from Irvine's back. They seemed to stretch out , as if a limb unused in a while. Irvine took no notice of them, all of his attention on Lisa. No sign of intelligence was in his eyes, and he seemed determined to pin her against the wall of the corridor with presence alone.

In Irvine's mind, there was only a haze of sensations, and the burning desire to mate with Lisa. The knowledge that she was his sister, society's moral conventions, all the things he'd been taught consciously and subconsciously were wiped away, leaving the buried desire revealed. And while he'd never reveal it, even to himself, he'd been attracted to her ever since she hit puberty. Irvine had wanted her to be happy, and had always tried to help her as best he could. And the time she had her heart broken by a cheating ex, he'd mercilessly beaten the bastard. He'd attacked in an out of the way spot, and hadn't hit hard even to leave visible marks, except the one to knock him out. Irvine had proceeded to hit the ex repeatedly in the same spot, until it showed the slightest of signs. He then used just under that amount of force to hit the guy everywhere that wasn't vital. The ex and been sore for days, and had avoided Irvine and Lisa ever since. Irvine would have said that he was protective of his sister if asked, but wouldn't have admitted why.

Lisa jumped when his shirt ripped apart revealing the tentacles her mind was screaming at her to run now but she only backed away. Her brother had gotten into something he shouldn't have and she didn't know what to dom

"Irvine..." She said not sure if he was even listening.

She was visibly shaking terrified of what her brother would do to her right now. Her body finally snapped to attention and she did something sensible. She turned and ran from him he was probably alot faster than her especially with his new physique but she felt the need to get away from him.
((Sorry it took so long...I've had really bad writer's block))

The black tentacles surged forward, stretching out to grab her. The speed of them was beyond Lisa's ability to escape, and she was wrapped up before she could get a dozen paces away. Irvine continued the steady walk forward, until Lisa was against a wall. Staring into her eyes, Irvine removed the rest of his clothes, his attention on her every movement. The black tentacles began to explore her body, moving underneath her clothing. They gently, but firmly, began to lift her off the ground.

Once Irvine's clothes were off, he moved forward, pressing Lisa against the wall. The tentacles moved out of the way, as his hands began their own exploration, touching her and noticing her reactions. His eyes were still black, but they seemed to be searching for something. His cock was a foot long, but the last three inches were as black as the tentacles, with a gradual to change to flesh the three inches below that.

Irvine's hands traced her body, from her hands to her torso, from her thighs to her breasts, and everywhere in between. His eyes seemed to flicker between where his hands were at, and her face. Irvine seemed to be looking for some reaction.

The haze of instincts that ran him demanded two things from the female in front of him. Desire and submission. He would not take her against her will, but he would try everything to make her want him. From sight to touch, even taste and scent, would be tailored to be pleasant, and attempt to incite lust in the female before him.

She screamed as the tentacles circled her and strained against them struggling to get free of them.

"P-please...Irvy...l-let me go" She whimpered using a nickname she hasn't used since they were little.

She could feel the wall against her back and looked at her brother wondering if he was even in there. He didn't seem to be as she felt the tentacles squirming inside her clothes the feel of them made her shiver. As Irvine removed his clothes she tried not to look at his cock but she couldn't stop herself and it terrified her. She was a virgin but she knew men's cocks didn't normally look like that.

"St-stop...please" Her voice was barely audible.

She gave up struggling hoping she could still reason with him but that hope was dashed the second his hands touched her. This wasn't like her brother it couldn't have been him but she didn't know who else it could be. Small shivers ran through her whenever he touched a sensitive part of her body like her breasts or thighs. She was sensitive just above her collarbone, at her sides, and of course on her throat just below her chin. Those were the places she knew about that he was touching. She couldn't stop him all she could do was just hang there with him exploring her body.

The female was still unwilling. She had submitted, but hadn't given into desire. She wasn't completely claimed. She spoke pleadingly to...

"Stop? Why?" Irvine asked, his voice deeper and rougher than ever. There was an animalistic quality to his voice, that seemed to replace the humanity. "Don't you desire to be claimed? To have a mate?"

Even as Irvine spoke, his hands focused on stroking her sensitive spots, caressing her thighs, gently molding around her breasts, and rubbing her sides. The tentacles wreathed around her body, one sliding against her collarbone and throat. The others shifted, holding her firmly, yet seeming to ready themselves to let her go.

She trembled at the sound of his voice and whimpered softly.

"N-not like this" She said softly.

She squirmed feeling his fingers caress sensitive spots and gasped at the feel of.the tentacles on her throat and collarbone. A dark blush stained her cheeks at her own reactions she couldn't help it. This wasn't how she'd ever thought of her first time going and she'd never pictured Irvine as her first either. Her eyes met his she was terrified of him but he was still her brother she needed to remind herself of that fact.

"What's wrong with this?" Irvine asked, curiosity plain in his voice, even if his expression showed only lust.

The instincts demanded she submit to him, and she did. So what was holding the female back?! Why did she still not desire him? There was no other male to destroy, and surely the female found see no other more powerful than him. The memories he could see clearly said she was unclaimed, so what was the problem?!

Irvine was running on raw instinct, unable to resist the siren call of his sister. All of society's conventions and morals were gone. However, that didn't mean he would hurt her. He was still himself, just... More animal, perhaps 'monster', than human.

"You're my brother" She said softly.

He was asking maybe if he liked her answers he'd see reason and back off she hoped so.

"This is wrong...I...should be...in a bed...with someone I picked..." She was serious and the tears in her eyes were geniune "Not pinned to a wall...by my own brother...don't you see how wrong this is...Irvine..."

She couldn't do much else but look at him though she did wriggle her hands to see if his grip slackened. If he was even Irvine he'd see reason but part of her was terrified that he'd been taken over by something. His hobby had always been strange but she was scared it had gotten him into some horrifically deep trouble.

"Please...don't make...my first time...this..." She pleaded "Please Irvine...stop..."

Irvine stared at her for several seconds, then abruptly put her down. "I see." He replied, his tone conveying pain and sorrow. He looked away from her, and then headed back to his room, ignoring the clothes on the ground. He didn't bother to shut the door either.

The female didn't choose him. A bed, he could understand. Females wanted comfort, and a bed was more comfortable. But choice... He wanted to force her, wanted her now. But even more than that, than the haze of instincts forced on Irvine by a spell he didn't completely understand...

Irvine loved his sister. And though he would have never admitted it to himself or others normally, would have moved on to try with others in a world without magic and maybe ended up with another, in this world he was faced with the truth. He loved Lisa more than as 'just his sister'. He wanted her above everyone else. That love gave him enough mental strength to stop himself from just taking her once she responded to his touch. But it also was tearing at him emotionally, as he felt rejected.

Irvine sat on his bed, his arms hugging his knees in the rooms corner. He didn't notice how the tentacles had withdrawn back in, or how the shadows seemed to cling to him, as if trying to hug him.

She was grateful when he set her down but she caught the pain in those two words had she hurt him. Watching him go she stood there worried he'd change his mind. Hugging herself she felt relieved Irvine was still reasonable he wasn't going to hurt her but she hadn't wanted to hurt him. She glanced at his room the logical part of her brain telling her to get the hell out of there but for some reason she stepped toward his door. What had happened worried her and she was concerned about Irvine even of he'd just scared the hell out of her.

"Irvine..." She said softly standing in the doorway.

She could see him curled up without the tentacles but she was too scared to go to him but she noticed the shadows around him at least she thought they were bending.

"Irvine...its still you isn't it..." She said softly "Please...answer me...if it is..."

She looked at him worried but not sure what else she should say to him and just stood there with one hand resting against the door frame. Her brain was screaming at her to stay away but what could she do. She wasn't gonna leave Irvine not when he was like this.

"Yes. No. Both." Irvine answered, not looking at her. The shadows around him shifted, swirling in an aggressive manner. "I don't feel different. But I think different. Fucked up the spell. First spell, and I fucked it up. Some mage, huh?" Depreciative of himself as always, and a bit of loathing in his voice. The animalistic tones were still in his voice, but humanity was also bleeding through.

"Guess Father was right. I read too much for my own good. Too late to see things differently." Irvine added quietly. He and their father hadn't gotten along, a good chunk of it being that Irvine never wanted to do all the physical things their dad had wanted a son to do. They didn't see eye to eye a lot either. There had always been a subtle tension between the two, since Lisa can remember. Their father lashed out at Irvine with insults in any argument they had, and those arguments were among the rare times Irvine raised his voice at people. Irvine had never called their father Dad, and didn't normally talk about him willingly.

Her features softened at least Irvine was still there somewhat. Lisa took a couple of steps into the room and glanced at his books wondering which one he'd gotten his spell from. She'd never thought in a million years that his magic stuff was real. It was beyond terrifying to even think about that kind of power actually existing.

"Irvine...I..." She didn't know what to say to comfort him.

Their father wasn't the nicest man in the world especially to Irvine and he wasn't right. The logical part of her brain was telling her the man was right but she knew Irvine wasn't stupid. She walked over to his bed hoping he was enough of himself to approach.

"What was it supposed to do?" She asked "The...spell...?"

Lisa was at the edge of the bed just looking at her brother trusting that he had enough self control. He was her brother and she wasn't going to stop caring about him over a flubbed up spell.

"It was supposed to make me more attractive. Thought I'd try to get a girlfriend before graduating school. Turns out it did a little more." Irvine replied. "And please, don't come any closer. I can't..." Irvine couldn't finish.

The war in his head raged harder the closer Lisa got. Irvine was riding the ragged edge, trying to avoid just taking her. Like the instincts demanded. "I can't forget what it's revealed, Lisa. Stupid spell messed with my head. It's all gone. Education and law and moral. It's all... Instinct, at the moment. It doesn't care that you're my sister, that you'd never look at me that way. It only cares that..." He didn't finish this sentence either.

"It's either heightened, or just let's me use my senses more completely. I'd suggest mango scented shampoo, to go with your natural scent." Irvine said, unable to help himself from the comment. Barely reigning in his urges was a big enough task, trying to control his thoughts was a bit much for the most part.

She froze when he told her not get closer and bit her bottom lip not sure what she could do for him. He was talking about this thing in his head and she didn't know what to do about it. When he said she wouldn't look at him in a different way she stepped back. Had that been why he'd...it had attacked her.

"You mean...like...a lover..." She said softly "Irvine...I never...thought..."

When he suggested Mango scented shampoo she couldn't suppress the giggle it was so out of place at the moment. Then again she knew it might make him more inclined to want her. She was so confused why would he feel this way about her she was his kid sister. That thing had to have warped his brain Irvine wasn't that sort of person.

"I'm sorry this happened to you..." She said softly "I...wish I could help..."

He must have thought she rejected him and she did she guessed but she had never even considered having that sort of relationship with her own brother.

"Well, you could grab the book on the floor, look at page... 67 or 68, whichever has a list of ingredients on it, and gather those up. That's where the counter spell is at." Irvine said, gesturing to the floor, where he'd knocked the book off. "Nothing else you'd be willing to do would help me. And that should restore my previous way of thinking. Even if it doesn't remove the insights." Irvine added the last sentence quietly.

Irvine wasn't sure if he'd ever be able to look at Lisa again. He was certain he'd never look at her as 'just his sister'. The sensation of touching her would probably haunt him, while the lingering scent of her, should she get within distance, would likely drive him crazy. "Looks like a hermit's life for me." He whispered quietly to himself.

"This book?" She said softly going toward the book and picking it up.

She thumbed through the book before glancimg at Irvine she heard his last statement but she wished she hadn't.

"How long?" She asked him "How long have you...thought about me...that way...was it new?"

She winced when he said hermits life and sighed softly as she found the page but there was one huhe problem.

"I can't read Latin" She said to him "This book...is in Latin..."

She sighed softly she couldn't help him and it hurt that she was just as useless as ever.

"I'm sorry Irvine..." She said "Umm...maybe you could...translate...uhm...is it safe to at least hand you the book..."

She didn't want to drive him over the edge he was managing to control himself right now but she didn't need tk make it any more difficult on him. Her mind was already on why he'd want to even try this stuff maybe it was because of the way he thought. That was just self centered on her part she wasn't behind his reasoning he probably just assumed it was a fake.

"Didn't think about you that way until today. But it was always lurking there. You're beautiful, Lisa. Even if I didn't think about it, or ever wanted to admit it, I've thought so ever since you were 14. And I guess that's when it started." Irvine answered, still not moving.

"You can just put it on the bed. I'll grab it and write a list out. You can get them once the list is in English. Should just be household items, and any of the plant stuff should be in mom's little garden out back." Irvine stated, sounding a little restless.
