The Sacrifice (WillowVX & littlerooster)

Annie wasn't sure what she thought of him anymore. But what chance did she have? She wouldn't last one night if she stayed alone. It was a 50/50% chance with Clarke. Atleast until Robbie recovered.

She followed him to the cave. It was a bit of a walk. They walked in silence some of the way. Neither of them knowing what to say to each other. Annie broke the silence.

"Why did you hunt me down?" She asked, her voice was quiet because of the lump in her throat.

They walked in silence, Clarke kind of enjoying it, she annoyed him a lot so it was pretty good he thought that she was silent a while.

"Wh, wha? Who hunted you down, when?" he asked not sure what to say or how to answer, of course they did hunt her down, but maybe she meant something else, he could never tell with her.

"In the tunnels. You shot Robbie and tried to turn me in. And you said... You said about.. About my mom..." She had to stop and breathe, keep herself calm. "Then at the train. You shot him again. You put a gun to my head, Clarke." She risked making him angry again, but she just wanted the truth.

"I just want the truth, Clarke." She stopped on the trail and looked up at him. "Who are you really?" She asked. "The Clarke who took me in, who made me breakfast and made me feel safe. The Clarke who kissed me and fell asleep, crying in my arms?" She swallowed hard. "Or are you the sheriffs son? Who hunts down escaping girls? And creates fake resistance groups? And who shoots his friends?" She stood her ground and never took her eyes off of him. She tried to scan his face for the truth.

Everything was coming apart, he didn't know where to turn or how to spin it next.

"I am both versions, I have to be on my father's side, I was trying to help you, help you and yet still be on my dad's side, I was playing both, and of course now I have learned that I have to pick a side" he said to her.

"Everything just keeps getting worse doesn't it" he said to her.

Annie let out a laugh. She couldn't help it. She nodded her head.

"Yeah..." She agreed. "Yeah it does." He laughed a little too. They kept walking.

"So which side? You know, which side would you choose?" She asked warily.

He considered for a moment, he was ok to be on her side provided he didn't get caught, if it looked like that might happen he would apprehend her and turn her in. Basically either way he couldn't lose.

"I'm your side" he said calmly and softly, looking at her.

Annie wasn't sure that she was convinced. She wanted to believe him, which made it so much harder. She had feelings for Clarke. He was there first, before anybody else. She felt like she would always have a deep rooted love for Clarke. Not the way she loved Robbie. The love she had for Robbie was fierce and passionate. She still had no doubts that he was her soul mate. But she loved Clarke too, none the less. She was glad to have him helping her, despite the terrible things he's done. Maybe he really did care about her. She just worried, that when the chips were down, if he would only care about himself.

"Thank you." She whispered. She forced a little smile and yawned.

"Do you want me to get some things, a tent, sleeping bag for you?" he asked her, knowing that she couldn't return to town and couldn't survive without them.

"You can't come back to town, it is too dangerous, you will have a rough night without them, even in this cave" he said to her.

Annie wondered a moment and nodded her head. Would he really get them provisions? Or would he go to turn her in? She would just have to trust him and take a chance.

"Okay." She whispered, rubbing more sleep from her eyes.

Clarke left to go to town and get the stuff and some food for Annie, he hoped that he wouldn't be questioned, he didn't want to sell her out, but then he didn't want to get caught either, in the end he would do whatever was right for him.

He came back a few hours later with a sleeping bag and a tent, some tinned food.

"Ok, this is what I could get, you can set a tent up in here and the sleeping bag will keep you warm, they are still looking for you, I hope no one suspected anything of me." he said as he set the tent up for her.

Annie nodded her head.

"I think you are a respected pillar of the community." Annie said sarcastically, then gave him a serious look. "You are the last person they would suspect. I don't want to get you in trouble." She rubbed her face a third time and sighed.

"If you do get in trouble, I would understand if you turned me in. I've nearly gotten Robbie killed." She laid down in the tent. "I don't want the same thing to happen to you. So.. I would understand." She mumbled sleepily.

He laid out his own sleeping bag and climbed in beside her, "I'll spend tonight with you, my dad and everyone are too busy looking for you anyway, I won't be missed" he said and faded off to sleep beside her in the tent.

Annie watched as Clarke fell asleep. She watched him for a while. His face looked so innocent, so serene. Light blonde strands of hair fell over his forehead. It was hard to believe that such an angelic looking creature could be so evil. Annie closed her eyes and fell asleep, praying that trusting Clarke wouldn't be a mistake. She also prayed that Robbie wouldn't hate her when he regained consciousness, and found out she came back, and that she was hiding out with Clarke.

Clarke spent the night sleeping soundly in the sleeping bag.

Robbie was healing and was calling out to Annie in his sleep, he had to be woken a few times by the nurses, he would wake in a shudder, shaking worried sick about her.

His mother by his bed side, comforting him.

The Sheriff and the posse returned to town, they had put out a description of Annie to other police units in the area, even out of town and knew she wouldn't get too far or survive the frigid night air.

Annie awoke in the morning and she was in Clarke's arms. It must have happened sometime throughout the course of the night. She inhaled his scent and her face was in his chest. Her mind was hazy and she still felt exhausted. There was no need to get up right away. She could sleep for just a little while longer. She nestled closer and fell back to sleep.

Clarke woke up and felt Annie against him, he liked her for a while a now, and it was too much. He started to stroke her hair and kiss her neck as he felt her relaxed body near his.

Annie was barely conscious. Her mind was still fuzzy with sleep but she could still feel herself against Clarke. She could tell he was awake. He thought she was still sleeping, she realized. She felt his arms tighten around her. He fingers ran through her hair, brushing it off of her shoulder. He started kissing her neck. She didn't know what to do. She loved Clarke. But she couldn't do this to Robbie. She needed to tell Clarke to stop. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. Instead, she found herself kissing his chest. He knew for sure that she was awake now. He held onto her tighter and kissed from her neck up to her jawline.

Clarke feeling Annie's eagerness kept kissing her, and started to work his hand inside her shirt, feeling her tummy and running his hand up to her little perfect breasts, he became hard, his covered erection pressing against her arse as he spooned her, kissing her neck and working his way around to her mouth with his tongue.

Annie knew this was wrong. Robbie was laying in the hospital, possibly dying. And she was lying here, wrapped up in passion with the man who shot him. As much as she knew she had to put a stop to this, her mind was over taken with lust. She kissed Clarke back and pulled at the back of his hair. Her body pressed against his and she felt his hard length rubbing against her. She wanted him badly.

She felt like the worst person in the world. Robbie's face never left her mind. She couldn't do this. She gasped and pulled her head away.

"Clarke..." Annie started as he kept kissing her neck. "Clarke.. we.. we can't." She panted. "We have to stop."

Clarke rubbed against her harder and harder, he was becoming more passionate in the way he was holding her and kissing her. He didn't hear Annie at first, he was too into being so close to her.

But did she say stop? Really? Now? What the fuck was wrong with this girl, was she a tease or just plain stupid, or maybe both.

"Huh... wha?" he asked in shock.

Annie put her hands on Clarke's shoulder.

"We shouldn't do this, Clarke." She whispered, her voice was low and still filled with lust. "It's not right." Clarke kissed her again anyways. Annie couldn't help but kiss back. He continued to trail his kisses. "I.. can't..." Annie tried, breathing heavily. "Robbie..." Her voice trailed off as his hands roamed down between her legs.

Clarke kept kissing Annie, he felt her jeans and pulled at her zipper, cupping her cunt as he kissed her hard.

He ignored her say Robbie, he didn't care, he would have her, she couldn't win, one way or another he would have her.

"Oh Annie, baby" he said to her, trying to convince her that this had to be done.

Annie's head was a mess. Her heart was an even bigger one. She wanted so badly for Clarke to be good. She wanted so badly to trust him. All she could see was Robbie. When he touched her most private place, she pictured the night in the cave. The love her and Robbie shared. Then she pictured Clarke. His cold eyes as he shot him. Robbie was going to give up his life to save Annie. She couldn't abandon him. She couldn't betray him like this.

"I'm sorry, Clarke." She groaned. She pulled his arm away from her and scooted back. "This is wrong. I love Robbie." She sighed. "You know I love you, too. But it's a different kind of love. I shouldn't have let that go on for what I did..." She felt ashamed. How could she do that to Robbie? She felt sick.

Clarke couldn't believe it, she wanted to stop? No way, he thought to himself, what could he do, fuck it and fuck this bitch. He had, had it since the first night.

"Oh sure, I understand" he said to her calmly.

"I'm sorry" he offered.

"I just need to take a piss" he excused himself and went outside, texting his dad their location, he now wanted to see Annie get gang banged.

Annie felt relieved that Clarke understood. She was worried at how he would react. He was so unstable, she was always afraid of making him angry. She felt uncomfortable. The only person in the world that she had was dying in the hospital. She felt so alone.

Annie nodded at Clarke as he said he was stepping out. While he was gone, she sat up and tried to think of plans they could come up with to get out of the town. Clarke came in with an odd smile on his face. It looked forced. Pained.

"Clarke?" Annie asked. "Is something wrong?"
