She was rather startled that he continued in trying to get her to do such a thing to him, feeling him place the blade in her hand on the other hand had a different effect, she soon remembered lessonâs with her mother when she was a child, maybe around seven or eight years old and her mother was teaching her to fight rapier, she found that so fascinating to her that even when she grew she had used her light cane to practice with, in hopes that someone would find a cure for her so she could see once again, but soon her people had lost sight of trying to cure her vision and let her be the way she was.
Instead she shook her head a small smile coming to her lips as she set the blade down, but her hand remained on his chest as she spoke, her right hand brushing away her tears as she calmed down, her voice no longer raspy from her crying, instead her soft voice could be heard, the one that she would sing with and talk to others with. âNo, your right, others would have done everything you have to my people, taken and enslaved them, but you are incorrect about what would happen with me. This has not been the first time I have been confronted by an enemy, one my caravan was attacked and everyone killed, except myself, and seeing that I was blind the men actually left me alone and to sit in the wreckage instead of harming me, I really donât know why, but I always felt so hurt for them doing that, if I had my sight they would not have thought twice about taking me with them.â She said and with a sigh she calmed down more.
âIâm sorry for my reaction, but the tears were my own way of letting it out, and calming myself down, and I thank you for that, because I know some would rather just walk away instead of do what you have.â She said before looking up at where his voice was coming from. âBut if I may make a request, instead of striking you, I would hope that maybe you could instead allow me to burry my family, instead of leaving them there like that, in disrespect for the dead.â She asked softly, remembering where her mother was buried and that was where the rest of her family would have been buried all together, but now they hung from the towers naked, something that she could only imagine. âNo one would have to know about it if you are concerned for your reputation, but please allow me burry my family.â She asked, her body trembling, but hoping he would at least consider her request.
