"Fire!" Shouted a large man which sent the twenty catapults flying towards the large walled castle. The boulders flew through the air only to smash against the structure causing pierces to fall away once more from the impact. A grin came across the man's face at the sight. It was like he could feel his victory was at hand. "One more everything is ours!" This battle seemed one sided. The enemy's soldier's were being slaughtered on the field and their walls were crumbling piece by piece from the power of their machines. Quickly the men ran here and there trying to obey their lord by reloading their weapons as fast as they could.
Why were they being attacked? For nothing maybe, for some childish human reason that escaped most? For the ability to boast? Sadly these weren't the thoughts of the five figures stepping out from the cover of the forest. They were carried towards the commander on their steed with little thoughts to the soldiers running all over the place. "Don't forget our deal, Commander." Came the voice of a man being flanked by the other four horseman.
The large man snaps his head around to see the warriors that were suppose to aid him. "First pick of the soils. I know, I know." The man said like he was talking to some nagging child. This only angered one of the horseman but he kept his calm once seeing the smile on their leader's face. "Watch your tone, Commander. Victory is a very elusive mistress." The man said as he pulled on the reins to his horse to lead his four men back into the forest where they came. "Fucking freaks! They won't get a gotdamn thing. They haven't lifted a finger, my soldiers done everything!" Words that didn't escape the ears of the five warriors sent.
"That monkey!" Snapped one of the men as he motioned to leap from his horse, to teach the man as lesson. He was stopped as he saw his leader climbing down from his horse. "Prince Francis?" One of them asked as they saw the man removing his cloak to reveal the pitch black light armor he was wearing. "My father has left for the meeting of the elders?" He asked while fixing the metal claws on his left hand. "Yes, M'lord." Replied a man that only made him grin appear on the blond's face, a look that was infectious. "So this has now become my matter." For helping they were promised all lands surrounded this place, but his eyes were bigger than that.
"The humans betrayed us, we must defend our fallen brethren." Francis openly lied which was happily accepted by all those around. Suddenly pairs of red eyes seen to appear within the forest which only made it clear to him. They were all happy with this ruling. "Kill everyone!" About a hundred vampires spilled from the treeline with their weapons drawn. "Bout time!" The human commander said only to add. "Figured they show up at the last sec-" Horror overtook the man's face as he witnessed what was happening. They had turned on them, they were attacking his men.
The man wondered why they were moving past him though and when he turned around, he knew why. "You are not worthy of a Why." And with that, Francis allowed his claws to rip through the neck of the previously allies neck, snatching his head off and tossing it aside. Francis lifted his gaze to watch his warriors, creatures of the night that moved along the field like a plaque of death. For two weeks they have been going back and forth with the enemy's castle. In less than five minutes they had less than half of their numbers left. Soldiers running to the enemy they had just been attacking for safety, but even they were cut down.
Climbing back onto his black horse, Francis made his way down the battlefield towards the castle gates. It was only a matter of time before his men killed the attacking army and set their sights on the defending one.
