The Snuff Film (WillowVX & littlerooster)

Heath was good. Alicia felt her insides sinking. She wrapped her arms around Rod and held her from behind. "You know that I care about you. After all of the things you've done to me, I am still here for you." Alicia's words were broken, she tried to stop herself from crying. "Please," She whispered into him. "Please just let me go. I don't want to ruin your friendship. I don't want to call the police. I just want to be safe." She cried into him. She was terrified. If Rod took his medication again, she would have no chance. "Please, let's just go." She cried harder. "I don't deserve this just please take me home."

Alicia felt Rod move his arms to rest on top of hers. He rubbed her arms and turned around to face her. He kissed her hard and pulled her into his chest, comforting her. They stood their holding each other and the anticipation was killing Alicia. She looked up at his face. "Please save me." She whispered.

"Rod if you are going to make a major decision that will effect you and me both at least take your meds first so you will be in a stable frame of mind, will you at least do that for me? And then if you still want to rescue Princess Pussy over here, I won't stop you" he looked at Rod holding out his meds.

"No!" Alicia cried and held onto Rod as tight as she could. "Please don't take them! Please don't leave me again!" Rod's shirt was wet from Alicia's tears. Her only chance of getting out alive was Rod. "Just take me home. Now. Please. You don't have to take them. It's so easy. You don't even have to take me all the way back. Just let me walk out of the door." She shut her eyes tight and held onto Rod for dear life. She pulled her head away to look at his face and tried her best to smile.

"The pills keep you happy. Because you get sad if you don't take them." She whispered quietly so only Rod could hear. "I will make you happy, I promise. I love you, Rod. Please." Her forest green eyes looked up into his, so innocent and tearful.

"She doesn't love you Rod, she just says it, she is trying to play you for a fool, she will call the cops or kill you and me herself when she can" Heath said to Rod pretty much guessing what Alicia would have whispered to him.

Alicia was angry. She continued to hold on to Rod but shouted to Heath over his shoulder. "If I had the chance I would fucking kill you right now!" She shouted to Heath, her face was wild. "But I wouldn't hurt Rod. Don't you UNDERSTAND?" She emphized. "He doesn't even know what he's doing. Those pills, they fuck with his head. They don't help him. Or make him happy. They are a trigger." She looked back to Rod. "Don't you see that? The pills do something terrible to you. This. This, right here. This is who you really are. The caring, gentle, loving Rod who only wants to help." She looked back to Heath. "THAT is the Rod that I love. The one that I grew close to all of the days leading up to filming, all of the times you left us alone together." She was panicking. Alicia and Heath were playing tug of war with Rod and it wasn't right. Alicia hurt all over.

"Rod... I don't want to make you choose between me and your friend. I just want to go home. That's all I want."

"Rod she likes you weak buddy, this thing that you are now, this is your weakness, your illness this is what people use and abuse, the pills help that, answer me something Rod, has anyone ever treated you badly when you take your mediciation?" Heath asked Rod.

Alicia cried again. "You are so mean when you take your medication." Alicia said to him. "You like to hurt me. You aren't a very good person when you take those pills. You're scary." Rod's face was torn. Alicia felt so bad. "I'm so sorry, Rod. I don't want you to hurt. And I don't want to be hurt either. We can be happy. I promise." Alicia hugged him tight and stepped back. Rod needed room. Alicia didn't want to crowd him.

Rod looked at Heath, then to Alicia. His face was miserable but he had to make a choice.

"Rod, I have said what I have had to say, you know me, you know I have never hurt you, ever since this cunt has entered our lives she has been trying to draw us apart, you have to decide Rod" Heath looked at him.

The momentum was killing Alicia. She looked at Rod, who stood between her and Heath. She shut her eyes tightly and waited for his decision.

Rod looked more and more nervous, he was trembling with anxiety.

"I'm sorry Heath, I just can't.."

"Let's go Alicia" he says, picking her up and shielding her from the furious Heath as he led her out the door.

Alicia cried out and relief washed over her body. Rod picked her up bridal style and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Heath stood in the house trembling with anger. By the look in Heath's eyes, Alicia knew that this was far from over. Rod took Alicia into his car. She kept whispering over and over, "Thank you, Rod." She never thought she would get out. The feeling of relief tightened a little when she noticed they weren't going the right way to get to her apartment. She looked at Rod with confused eyes, "Where are we going?"

"We need to run and keep running, Heath will already be planning how to track us down, he is sadistic, he will like the idea of giving us a head start to make it more challenging for us, he will then try and hunt us down and kill us, I can't skip the country either, I have a record, we just have to keep running, never stop for too long. I'm sorry Alicia" he said as he started ahead blankly and drove through the streets.

Heath sat down and turned on the GPS tracker he had planted in Rod's car without his knowledge, he knew one day that Rod would turn on him, the way Rod would waiver back and forward, not quite evil, not quite an angel, he knew Alicia was far from safe in his company as well, this made Heath smile.

Alicia let her head fall back onto the seat. Nothing would ever be okay again, she thought. Her life as she knew it was over. At least you're alive, whispered the rational part of her mind. The same part of her mind that also told her that she needed to stay away from Rod. Rod was unstable. Had he brought the pills with him? Alicia didn't know. She wanted to stay with him. He was strong, and dangerous, and he cared about her. She needed him there to protect her.

"I'm scared." Alicia whispered to Rod as they fled.

Rod's mobile phone went off a text message it was from Heath :

"Rod/Alicia, you forgot your pills, you know what will happen, come and get them, I will leave them in the letter box, you don't even have to speak to me".

Rod asked Alicia to check his phone while he drove.

"You should be scared" Rod said without feeling.

Alicia felt ice run down her spine. Rod's voice scared her. "Rod, what's going on?" She asked, warily. The way he told her that she should be scared made her terrified. Rod was much more dangerous than Heath, Alicia knew that. There was a darkness in Rod. It was true darkness. Heath was just some nerd who was butthurt about getting bullied in school. Rod was the one that had a demon living inside of him. And now she was alone with him. He could turn on her at any point. Alicia slid into the seat and gripped the sides hard to steady herself.

"Are you okay, Rod?" She asked again when he didn't answer.

Rod tried ignoring Alicia, tried blocking her out, but eventually he pulled the car over, he looked at Alicia,

"What's going on? Do you have to even ask? I have just abandoned my one and only friend, abandoned him for a girl I barely know, that I myself have raped and tortured, now I have no where to go, Heath will be tracking me down and I have no idea what your plans are and what you will end up doing. And you ask me what is going on" Rod put his head down and started slamming it against the steering wheel.

Alicia flinched at Rod's reaction. He started shouting and slamming his head against the steering wheel. Alicia touched his hand gentle and she could feel him shaking.

"I'm not going to leave you." Alicia whispered. "You saved me. I would have died if it wasn't for you. I owe you everything." Her eyes were wet again. "I meant it when I said I cared about you. I'm sorry about your friend. I really am." Alicia was very afraid. She wasn't sure which Rod it was right now. She sat frozen in place with her hand on his shaking arm.

Rod looked at her a crazy kind of stare, the life going in and out like he wasn't sure if he was crazy or sane.

He looked at her then picked up the phone "Heath? I'm sorry can I come back?"

He got off the phone and looked down, sad.

"I'm lost" he started to weep and drove off way too fast.

Alicia started to panic. Rod was losing his grip. He called Heath and asked if he could come back. Alicia froze. He wouldn't take her back there. Not after finally getting away. But did she really get away? No, she thought. Not really. He sped away very fast, he was crying, swerving all over the roads.

"Rod!" Alicia screamed. "Rod, calm down, please!" She grabbed his arm tightly and put her face into him. "Everything is going to be fine. Everything is going to be okay. I promise. Just..." Alicia drew a ragged breath. "Just pull the car over." The look in Rod's eyes was something Alicia had never seen before. They weren't lifeless and they weren't alive - they were just dark. The blue in his eyes was almost completely gone, leaving only the black dilated pupil.

Rod kept driving wildly as Alicia tried to calm him, "Please Rod, stop, slow down, listen to me" she kept begging, trying to tell him everything would be ok.

Then Rod lost concentration, his fragile mind was overloaded, the lights from other cars and the street, the noise, Alicia's voice, thinking about his future, being without his meds, it was all too much.

Rod snapped.

Swerving the car violently, he aimed for a tree, hoping to kill himself just as much as kill Alicia, he wanted out one or another.

Then the sickening sound, the car hitting the tree.

Black.

Moments, passed, was he dead? He could hear Alicia moaning, he could see blood everywhere. The broken windscreen. He stumbled out, what had he done, what was happening, he saw Alicia.

He looked at her, reality started flooding his mind, he knew, he knew what had to be done. He looked at Alicia as she tried to get out of the car, her body broken.

He called Heath "Heath, I'm sorry, you need to come get me, don't worry about Alisha."

Alicia was in a panic. Rod became inconsolable. Maybe he really did need the medication, she thought. What had she gotten herself into? "Let me out!" Alicia screamed, gripping the side of the door. "Please, just let me out!" Rod didn't seem to hear her. His face was wild and he turned sharply to the right, heading straight for a tree. Alicia screamed, there was the sick sound of metal smashing, and then it was silent.

Alicia didn't know if she was conscious or unconscious. She felt her mind working but she couldn't move her body. It was the middle of the night, the road was empty, she knew that nobody had seen the crash. She tried to open her eyes. Once she managed, she was horrified. Rod's eyes were closed. Was he alive? Alicia couldn't tell. She had to get out of the car. Then she could go around to the other side and pull Rod out. She groaned and tried to unbuckle her seatbelt. She couldn't get out of the car. It wouldn't unbuckle. She was tugging weakly at the straps but they wouldn't budge. She tried to move her legs but all she felt was pain. Were they broken? She tried to move them with her arms and screamed out. She touched her forehead and she felt wetness. She'd hit her head. She was bleeding. She couldn't tell how bad. She coughed and tasted a coppery bitterness in her mouth. She was so focused at trying to get out of the car, she didn't even notice Rod wake up.

"Heath, I'm sorry, you need to come get me, don't worry about Alicia." She heard Rod's voice and it startled her. He hung up the phone and gave her a grave look.

"Rod!" She exclaimed. She was so happy he was alive. It didn't even occur to her who he was talking to or what he said. "Are you okay? Can you move?" She asked, concerned. "I can't get out. I.. I think my legs are broken." Alicia sighed and laid back. She had a surge of hope. That means the cops would come. So would the ambulance. They would take her home and she would be safe. For the first time since the beginning of this nightmare, Alicia felt like everything was going to be alright.

Rod didn't say anything, he didn't need to, both himself and Alicia knew what was going to happen, what Rod felt obligated to do. He looked at her with some tears in his eyes, and slowly bent down and picked up a rock.

He walked up to her and with 3 thuds, Alicia was no longer a concern.

He sat by the car and waited for Heath.

Rod got himself out of the car. He walked around to stand by Alicia's door, he crouched down slightly so she could barely see him. He never answered her. He just gave her the strangest look. There was remorse and ice in his eyes. Alicia knew, at that moment, that he would kill her. It's the stare a predator gives it's prey before it strikes. He watched her carefully, memorizing her eyes, her face. Something in his features told her that he was sorry. He was sorry it had to end this way. Alicia's chest rose and fell quietly, she couldn't find her voice. But of course it had to end this way, a voice in her mind told her. It was always going to end this way. She was sorry too. She was sorry she'd ever come to LA. She was sorry that she had ever responded to the email. And she was sorry that she had ever fallen in love with Rod.

Alicia saw the tears that welled in his eyes. This was it, something cold in Alicia told her. She would never be any older than today. She would never have children, she would never have an acting career. Her life belonged to Rod and he would take it away. He bent down and picked up a large, jagged rock from outside of the car. Everything happened in slow motion after that.

Alicia wanted to scream, and cry, and beg him not to kill her. She couldn't. All she could do was watch with tired eyes as a small tear ran down her cheek. The first blow made her dizzy and send waves of pain down her body. The second blow caused a sickening crack, and the small, barely conscious part of Alicia knew that was the sound of her skull breaking. Alicia was in her final desperate seconds of life. Rod was not going to allow her to live. She felt a strange calmness. And the last time he brought the rock down, Alicia fell asleep forever.

Rod didn't look at Alicia again after the last blow that ended her life, he knew she was dead, he felt indifferent about, he always felt that life didn't matter as if the difference between life and death was not a whole lot.

When Heath pulled up, Rod just got in the car, Heath got out and looked at Alicia, to make sure she was dead but also see what his friend had done. Heath wasn't sure if he could kill someone but he now knew Rod could.

"Here's your meds buddy, we'll be ok, don't worry" he said as he drove away.
